6/2024 I have an expensive aluminum rim which was pierced by debris. I took it to classic wheel for repairs. He was supposed to drill both ends of the puncture and then welded together. I cannot say whether he did that or not, but I can say he put a ton of JB WELD in a clump on it. Now my balance is off and the JB WELD damaged the aluminum. I took it elsewhere and had it repaired properly. read more

Ran over an unmarked concrete curb and bent the inside of my front wheel enough to really look awful and start leaking air. Could have been worse but the damage was done. Called up Stu at classic wheel and explained the situation and he quoted me a good price right over the phone. Dropped off the wheel the very next day and he had it fixed and ready for me by closing time the same day. Stu was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. He fully explained the process and assured me the wheel would be back to normal. After the wheel was fixed he balanced the wheel/tire perfectly using internal "sticky" weights. He even stayed open for me a bit longer so that I could make it back to the shop after work to pick up the wheel/tire. Had busted my rim when I hit a curb; since Hyundai accent does not come with a spare tire, had to be towed. I was then referred to Classic wheels to have the busted rim repaired as other rim repair companies contacted through yelp stated that they do not service my rim damage. LUCKY ME.... Stuart, the owner of Classic Wheels told me to bring the rim to him as he can repair it. LO & BEHOLD, he did fix it and it looked brand new after his repair. 5 stars for a job well done! Dropped off some wheels to be modified after a phone conversation indicated that it wouldn't be a problem and would take a week or so. After not hearing anything for two weeks I called and got told "I've been sick, I'll do them next week. No problem, I totally understand. Two weeks later, same deal, ring back, no explanation just, "I'll do them next week. Two weeks later.... " I need new cutters for my lathe, I'll do them Monday" Tuesday. Left voicemail, no returned call Wednesday.. see above Thursday comes around, another call placed, finally answered with " I would have do do them manually and I don't know when I can do that" Suffice to say I had my wheels picked up on Friday. This guy is the WORST person I've ever had to deal with in the aftermarket automotive industry. I try and support local businesses when I can, but can only tolerate so much poor service and excuses. After doing some research online, I took them to Collins Custom Wheels in Bellflower. Carlos modified them THAT DAY and I picked them up the next morning, and cheaper too, and the work was well done. First mistake was buying wheels off of "Offer up" gave them the eye test and they looked fine. When I attempted to mount tires the barrels had some bends and could only be noticed when they were being balanced and spun. David, over at Tucker Tire recommend I give a few places a try, one just happen to be Stuart at Classic Wheel. Gave him a call and went in and all four wheels had issues. Stuart fixed them and also powder coated them for me. The way the wheels wobbled, I thought no way they can be fixed. But to my surprise, they came out pretty good! I can still fell a very slight wobble at 37-39 mph but that's it. And mind you, very slight. Hardly noticeable if you weren't looking/feeling for it. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the way they came out and would recommend Classic Wheel for anyone that dings, cracks or bends their wheels. read more

The worst business I have ever dealt with. I have taken a rim in for curb rash and a powder coat, I was told it would be ready next day, it wasn't called back a couple days later said I will call you tomorrow to pick it up never called. I called two days later another lame excuse I will call you tomorrow no call. It's been two weeks. They won't answer my calls. The shop also caters to small projects like curb scratches and wheel dents from annoying potholes. By far the WORST place ever! I dropped off my rims in Feb to be repaired and painted, said it would be done within 4 days! Its now almost April I've called left several messages and no call back whatsoever. I finally decided to drive down to check the progress and get there to see my rims sitting in the exact same spot where i dropped them off at. A month and a half he had my rims just sitting not touched. When I walk up the owner asks me "what am I doing here" I said "I'm checking on my rims" he told me the man that was supposed to come pick them up to sandblast them, and he never showed up! Saturday January 26, 2019 my husband and I were in Glendora for a funeral when we got an indication that we had a flat tire. We went to America's Tire - the tire had a small screw in the tread, but the bigger problem was that the wheel was cracked. They didn't have a wheel for our BMW, and Randy called Stuart at Classic Wheel to see if he was available to weld the crack. He said he was out but would return in a couple of hours. That would have been after 4, so we weren't sure we wanted to wait in case the cracked wheel was not able to be fixed. While trying to figure out the best way to deal with trying to get home, Stuart called back and said he'd come back early to help us. Stuart was really friendly, took a look at the crack and said it'd be no problem to weld. It took less than an hour - we had a great conversation with his friend Paul while the work was being done and we were beyond grateful that Stuart took the time to return early to help us.
