I bought brand new tires for my X3 but unfortunately the tire shop chipped one of my rims. Fortunately I had talked to Wheel Cosmo before and when the tire shop said they could get it fixed, I insisted on having it fixed by Raffi and Wheel Cosmo. Rafi is a magician. I had to have 4 wheels fixed after a road hazard incident left all 4 rims bent and all 4 tires needing replacement due to extensive sidewall damage. I called around multiple places to get quotes and no place would even touch it due to the severity of the wheel condition. Wheel Cosmo has a machine shop where they can fix major bends in wheels. This shop left me speechless. I came in 7/18/2024 at 10:30am to get my BBS hubs bored from 59.6-66.1. Quoted over the phone $50 per wheel to dismount and remount tires and to drill. I wanted to get a quote on getting three rims powder coated. I drove to the business so I could speak to someone in person, explain what i wanted and show photographs. It was 2:30pm and I walked into the office. A gentleman came in from the back area. I explained to him that I have 2 brand new 15x10 American Racing Outlaw rims and wanted the center disc powder coated red. The lip and barrel were to remain polished alloy. I also have a 17x3 solid Fatboy rim that needs paint stripped and powder coat the center the same red. He tells me that he thinks they only powder coat the entire wheel but is not sure. This place is awesome!! I found it probably 5 years ago, and since then they have worked on four of my BMWs. It's always the same story. I have a curbed wheel or two, I get tired of looking at them, and then I take them to Rafi to have the wheels fixed. My experience with the other guys is that the wheels are better, but I can still see that they were repaired. With Wheel Cosmo, the quality is AMAZING. If anything, the wheels look better than new. The pricing is fair. I just brought in my '16 X5 in that had the M Sports 20s. Two of them were curbed and one had a scratch. I was going to have all 4 wheels machined. Rafi suggested that I consider letting him black the wheels out. Wow! It changed my whole perspective on that car. I also ended up getting a set of tires from him as well. Here's the best part: Wheel Cosmo re-machined and blacked out all 4 wheels and installed a new set of Pirelli PZeros all for only about $300 more than the dealer would have charged me just for the tires. Don't expect a fancy retail environment. This is primarily a wholesale operation. This is where the dealers and tire stores take the wheels to be done. My '16 X5 is parked right next to my '17 X5.
