I have been going here since my Acura/Honda days I was just 16 then ( I'm 33 now) and I had my spindles fixed by Bear on my very lowered car and not once did my tires eat away or my drivability suffer. Couldn't ask for better service. Lady was nice at the cashier, the mechanics were friendly, hard workers. Everyone was on their feet doing something. These guys seem like they know what they are doing. They have been around for a very long time. Took my 05 rsx in a little before 9am and they weren't too busy. There were always paddle coming in thigh so I'd advise to get there early to be done early. got front and rear aligned for 90$. I asked when it'd be done and she said about an hour or less. An hour lady she called me to let me know my car was ready to go. I waited in the mcdonalds and read. It's nice and cool in there. There is a waiting lounge on the premise but there's no ac or anything. Overall I don't have anything to complain about. Will come back with my other car. Thanks bear frame! read more

Came in for an alignment on my 05 pathfinder and I left with it feeling even worse than when I brought it in. I don't know how they can leave a car pulling hard left and say that it is good to go. I thought this is what they do there... Extremely disappointed with the "alignment " and the guy working on my car looked all put out and kept taking breaks to talk to his buddies instead of getting my car done. I was quoted a 45 minute wait and it ended up taking and hour and a half. Spend an extra $10-20 and go to a shop that cares and has newer technology for the alignment. Took my Toyota Sequoia in for an alignment on 9-10-19 paid for a full alignment camber, caster and toe. They told me I needed a new cv axle. I said thankyou but I just changed the struts in the front the cv axle will have to wait. They tell me some time later it's done I look at it and ask if they did the camber and caster they said "the numbers were good." I said ok I'll drive it then. Went back a couple weeks later because life kept me from going in the next day. And said I know you said the numbers were good. But the tire looks like it's physically leaning out on the top can you check it and adjust it? They said "ya" 15 minutes later "it's done" and they didn't adjust the camber. I planned to try again before the "90 day warranty" was up and give them another chance to correct this but the holidays happened. read more

I was recommended here by Rene's Tire Shop off of Valley because my car is too lowered for many places. I've had good experience with them so I tried this shop out. When I arrived to Bear Frame & Wheel, it was around 12 and they did not say the whole staff goes on break for an hour on Yelp. They told me to come back later but this place was a far drive from home. It wasn't a big deal to me, though, so I went to iHop in the meantime. When I came back, they charged me extra because they had to adjust my aftermarket control arms. I agreed to pay and watched as multiple people worked on my car for hours. What had me worried was that they were completely EYEBALLING all the adjustments. They also work on the front and rear of the car separately. I received no spec sheet paper and did not see any alignment electronics mounted on the wheels to ensure everything was even. They took my car around the block 3-4 times and said it was done. I knew immediately that the control arms were not level, but I had a car show that weekend and I focused on installing other mods. Little did I know one of the coilovers were not tightened and it busted one of my cv axles after a few weeks. I had to adjust it myself and suffered the price of replacing something that shouldn't have ripped had this "alignment" shop done a good job in the first place. After all these expenses, I went to another alignment shop in Monrovia to fix this horrible job. They only had one man running the shop compared to a whole crew and he seemed so much more knowledgeable. Not only did he use electronic measures and provide a spec sheet, but he made sure everything was to my liking. He even charged less than this place! I noticed immediately that my car performed way better than before and I did not have to worry about my new tires rubbing on my frame anymore. I highly recommend against going to Bear Frame & Wheel if you have a modified car. I will definitely not come back and I wish I had gotten a refund. read more

Love this place. If you have a 4x4, 4x2 it's a no brainer take it to bear for an alignment. Plenty of parking, a huge lot - friendly service and techs that know what they're doing. Brought in my FJ cruiser, had installed new upper control arm and suspension and needed a good alignment. I run a 17x8 wheel with 265/70 KO2 and 1.25 spacer all around. Asked for maximum caster and factory toe and camber. Truck is dialed in drives straight and ready for the trails. Best part - prices are good, just call up before make sure they have an open spot. read more

Today I took my Lexus SUV to Bear Frame and Wheel on arrow highway to have them look for a rattle squeak or popping sound. The girl that checked me in was extremely friendly and wrote down everything I stated was wrong with the vehicle. They took the car out for a test drive and very quickly had it up on the racks and checking everything out. It turns out that it being a 19 year old car a few things just needed to be tightened. I called to let me know that there would be no charge that they couldn't find nothing wrong with the frame and the undercarriage. When I went to pick the car up there was indeed no charge this was a pleasant surprise! I can highly recommend the place even if they had charged me an inspection fee. Took my 2015 Tahoe in for a severe shake and pull. With 26 inch wheels, most all of the corporate companies like America's tire wouldn't touch it. I took my 2017 Jeep to get a wheel alignment. When I left I noticed the car was worse then when I took it in. I took it back and they refused to look at my jeep as they were more concerned about leaving at 2:00pm despite their website saying they close at 3:00pm. All the mechanics refused to look at my jeep. I took my truck to probably about 5 different places all of them not being able to do my alignment(my truck width tire to tire is 8 feet wide). The last place that I stopped at recommended bear frame and wheel. Frustrated at this point I took my truck here in hopes of them being able to do the alignment. I took my truck here on a referral basis from Route 66 Auto repair (Best place!). I have a 1 ton so needed the heavy duty alignment. This place is great. They didn't speak to me like I was an idiot and explained every detail even though I know nothing about vehicle repair. I wish I knew the gentleman's name but he was great & honest. I'm not real satisfied with this place. I had my BMW M6 aligned here because no one was able to do it because it was lowered. When I pulled up a lady in the both said to drop the keys off on the floor and someone will get too you which wasn't real secure to do but I sat around watching my car. Once they drove the car I noticed the first guy (owner) drove it well for being lowered but the second guy driving it went straight down the driveway and straight up the driveway scrapping the front end the entire time. When he finally parked I walked up to him and told him he needs to learn how to drive lowered cars. A few words were said but he walked away. One thing I noticed was they painted a white line on my tire but other then that I didn't see anything else done to my car (which I watched the entire time) so don't really know what I paid for beside them testing driving my car. While driving the car I noticed a slight difference so I guess something was done but unsure because no one spoke to me about it. This business is outstanding and I'd give it my highest recommendation to anyone looking to fix any issues with their wheels or frame... and I do mean ANY issues. Here's how I learned about them. I brought my small SUV to a tire shop to buy new tires all around and get a 4 wheel alignment. The mechanic said I needed a camber kit for the rear tires because they couldn't get the alignment into spec. So I OK'd the camber kit ($150 installed) plus the alignment ($80). After it was finished, I was walking up to my SUV from the back and noticed that the left rear wasn't as straight as the right rear. Basically called "toe-out." So I went back in to talk to the mechanic. He said that he brought as much in alignment as he could with the new camber kit and I needed to get an adjustable trailing arm put in to get it all the way in alignment and to bring it back to get a free alignment. I remember thinking that had I not said anything, they would have let me drive off and eventually my tires would wear unevenly. I don't know about you, but I didn't find that to be honest on their part. I called my dealership and they wanted $600 minimum. A body/frame shop wanted $800. Then I called Bear Frame & Wheel and I'm so glad I did. They said over the phone that they would check it to see if the tire dealer knew what he was talking about. It turns out that the rear wheels could be brought into alignment WITHOUT the camber kit or an adjustable trailing arm, just by using what was already there. Bear Frame & Wheel service is done on a first come, first served basis. I brought my SUV in at 8:30am and they repaired the so called alignment problem by 9:00am. The total charge was $50 saving me hundreds of dollars. They said that I probably would have paid more at those other places because I didn't know what I really needed to be fixed and I could have easily been taken advantage of. How many of us take for granted the word of a professional mechanic without knowing what is really wrong with our cars? I know that I depend on their assessment. Thinking about that, Bear Frame & Wheel could have taken me for a ride and charged me a lot more too... but they didn't. If you think honest mechanics didn't exist anymore, you'd be shocked to find this little gem of a business. Not only were they honest, their service is excellent, their prices beat the pants off of all the other tire and suspension businesses. If I would have discovered them sooner, I would have saved the $150 and $80 I gave the tire shop and just paid $50 to get it done right at Bear Frame & Wheel. These guys have earned my future business and I'll be sending business their way any time I get a chance. HONEST, EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING, SUPERIOR, AWESOME, EFFICIENT, BETTER THAN COMPETITIVE PRICING. What more could you want? read more

TOOK IN MY 2005 F250 FOR AN ALIGNMENT JUST REPLACED ALL THE STEERING COMPONENTS MYSELF. JUST wanted them to line everything back up, first they don't even have the nessary tools apparently they used channel locks instead of the appropriate sized wrench which inturn scratched off the powder coat finish on both the drag link as well as the tierod bar, also as if that was not enough four days latter while I was painting the damage from there poor workmanship I noticed that the tie rod jam nut was loose,this is a larger aftermarket tierod bar from pmf it cost nearly 500.00 dollars I not sure if driving the truck with the bar loose has damaged the threads inside. I only had taken the truck there because I assumed with all new components it would be simple,normally I have the truck aligned when new tires are installed Tucker tires never torn anything up nor was anything every loose. IF you care about the quality of maintenance your vehicle receives stay away from Bear frame and Wheel it cost 80.00 dollars plus possibly another new tierod assembly to learnthat lesson. read more

My dad comes here all the time. And I'm a lucky girl that my dad brings my car. I came today alone. Yikes. Scary. The lounge is disgusting dirty, not air conditioned, no water, no tv, no reading material. It's a itsy bitsy small room with three metal chairs and a trash can.
