We have been trying all of the coffee shops in town while visiting from out of state and bean box is hands down our favorite we have found. The shop was super cute, the employees were so kind when we made special requests, and the coffee is delicious! I got the blueberry vanilla iced latte with oatmilk and it was fantastic. Due to the good reviews, we stopped in for a cappuccino while visiting South Haven. Maybe straight up coffee is their strong suit? Our cappuccinos were scalding, & undrinkable for a while. By the time they cooled off enough, it was hard to judge. They seemed weak. Unlike other coffee shops with some character & ambiance, this one was quite spare. Not much atmosphere to speak of except a piano in the corner. We had planned to drink our coffees at a table, but the Christian worship music had a strong presence against the minimal surroundings...and we are church-goers. I don't normally go outside of my coffee comfort zone but they helped me find something I might like. I got the Irish Cream Coffee and my husband got the White Mocha coffee. They have pretty good coffee I wasn't sure how to tell them that I wanted creamer though in my coffee I seen advertised online where it was like two or three dollars for a 20 oz iced coffee and when I walked out of that place it was like $15 for two of them two 20 Oz cups of coffee nothing really extra and they advertise that their cups have their labels on them but they were just basic clear Solo cups without their label on them it was a clean environment that was definitely decorated by a chick they had a refrigerator system for the refrigerated stuff without any doors on them I thought that was a little bit different but I guess that's like a store doesn't really keep the product that cold though they're always also are different they open essentially after everybody has already headed off to work and they close before people get out of work and their prices are a little bit high but their coffee is pretty good essentially making people who work not be able to get coffee because of the hours and the prices they could definitely get more business if they were open earlier and open later I wasn't asked if I wanted creamer in my coffee or sugar. read more
