Order at the counter and there is ample seating inside, at the front entrance (covered patio), and in the back (patio is two levels and there's also outdoor seating on the ground level). I could see this place getting very busy, but the times I went it wasn't too bad. Friendly staff at the counter. The lady bird sandwich was tasty and I was very full after it! Husband got a breakfast wrap (it comes pre made in foil behind the counter if that would impact your decision on whether to get it). Tasty nonetheless. There was a little bit of a wait, mainly because there are so many options to choose from while you're in line. They had a great variety of salads, sandwiches, desserts, and drinks, so it took us a minute to decide. We ordered the Fiesta Wrap (8/10). It was really good, but I think it could have used a little more seasoning. The salsa definitely helped bring everything together though. We also got the Wise Guy, which was a 10/10. It was filling, made with fresh ingredients, and came with a side of kettle chips that were also really good. For dessert, we got a cookie that was moist, soft, and pulled apart easily. Definitely worth trying. I also ordered a small iced s'mores latte. It tasted more like a mocha than a s'mores latte, but I didn't mind because it was still enjoyable. Even though they seemed pretty busy, the service was efficient and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. This place has a cute cafe look. There are about 10 tables and a walk up counter. We were there for lunch. The vegan black bean wrap was delicious. It came with a side. I tried the chickpea salad and enjoyed it, but it is a small portion. The wrap is big though! I had the iced black tea which was strong. Cute little spot for sandwiches in the area. We've visited before and this spot can get busy - but you can order ahead for pickup (which I highly recommend). Sandwiches were really delicious. Hot sandwiches were the right amount of gooey (with cheese) and toasted while cold sandwiches had high quality ingredients and just as tasty. I've visited multiple times, everything I tried was just as good as the one before. I don't think we've ever had leftovers! Super cute little cafe downtown! The atmosphere was great. We took our coffee out to the patio and sat with our dog. The patio was pet friendly and they even had a water bowl for the dogs! We have loved walking over to cafe Julia during our stay in South Haven! It's such a nice space with both indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone that works there has been super nice each time we have gone there & they took my dairy allergy super seriously, which I appreciated! Their coffee is great and they have lots of different drink options, which includes a list of seasonal drinks not posted on their website! The coffee is strong, so consider that when ordering. Wow, I haven't given this place a second look in years but boy was I glad I went in there. We've been back twice for iced coffees and really enjoyed some lovely music and yummy treats. The shop is cute and the baked goods in the case look amazing (didn't try unfortunately) but the coffees were lukewarm, the caramel macchiato latte was not very sweet, and the Mad Hatter tea latte was bitter and not impressive. I recently used Cafe Julia to cater dessert for thanksgiving. I purposely over ordered so that I would have a stash of frozen GF brownies! These brownies are better than any I have ever eaten! we had cupcakes, GF pumpkin bars, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and cinnamon rolls which we had for breakfast thanksgiving morning. Everything was delicious and the brownie I just took out of the freezer and defrosted was amazing! We eat at Julia's about once a week. We came to South Haven for the weekend for a bachelorette party and ending up coming here all 3 days! Everyone in the party enjoyed this place. There are delicious flavored coffees along with so many other options. The last day I bought a red velvet cupcake and wish I had more time to try more of their sweets!
