Delicious food and polite staff. Although it was quite a wait took over a hour to get my food but over all it was a good experience.

Food was decent, average small diner breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly, potatoes needed another two minutes on the heat, omelet was good but a little over cooked for my taste, biscuits and gravy was flavorful but a tad floury. Everything was a little light on seasoning but all and all it was it was an enjoyable meal. The best part of breakfast was by far the staff! Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. When you arrive at this restaurant it's off a major Michigan highway. Great for Mom and Pop feeling restaurant. The service is great and the delivery of the food is longer than other restaurants in the area. The good news is your coffee cup will never go empty in this restaurant and they're coffee is delicious. The good selection is very basic breakfast and lunch selections. Which is great when it arrives at your table. If you have a few extra minutes and want to get away from the busy city and just enjoy a wonderful little spot that makes you feel at home. The food at Blinkers is always so good! It's like home cooked food in a restaurant. The style is very "local" with a 50s diner kind of feel. The staff is always excellent no matter how busy they are. They call you by name and usually remember your name. Not only that but it is Very affordable. 100% recommend. Great food and great place! read more

Blinkers was a good little restaurant before the remodel. I'm sitting here tonight having tried to eat the Fabulous Fish and taking most of it home to the cat. The fish was so greasy it came in a sodden lump. There were no crispy parts at all. The fries were okay. They have a fly problem. I was constantly dive bombed and watched as five of them landed on the table next to us and socialized. I live about two miles away and liked the convenience and good food, but it's changed and I likely won't be back. read more

I go to Bangor to work from South Haven and I always make time to stop here. I love it! The hot chocolate is divine for a cold chilly morning. I ordered eggs and bacon! I stopped in for lunch yesterday to a small diner called blinkers. The food was absolutely perfect. Generous servings, incredibly satisfying, and very nice servers. It was not busy so the cook stepped out behind the kitchen to see how the food was which was a nice surprise. I will definitely stop it blinkers if I'm in the area. It was well worth it. A similar place in the area where I stopped to get a bite, called espinozas, had good food but the service was definitely lacking. ( I am course teasing about the Espinosas, as they are my nephews and nieces. Had to throw this in there for fun.) read more

I eat thete often but tonight they couldn't get anything right. The waitress was new.. I understand but.. She never came back to get our order Asked other waitress to take our order. Friend asked for Turkey Ruben got regular. Coleslaw maybe a tablespoon I ordered Greek salad. No Greek dressing? No Feta cheese? No onions? Eggs? When we got our bill it was for burger and chili. There was only 5 tables full but geesh! If you hire new waitresses train them. Hire cooks have them learn the menu. read more

Authentic home cooked polish and American delicacies. The pierogis are absolutely delicious! I'm getting some frozen to take home when we come through again. We were here for lunch on a Sunday. We waited over 45 mins for food and the servers never came to check on us or give us an update on our food, except to tell me they were out of an ingredient for my dish. We had to flag them down for refills. The food WAS very good or maybe we were so starving we didn't care. The tables and chairs were so close to each other I couldn't move without hitting someone. The bathrooms were very dirty and there was no changing station for my little one. My husband had to change him on the filthy floor and then wash him up afterwards. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but it was not conducive for our young family. read more

Blinkers is a cute little restaurant on M43 on the way from Kalamazoo to South Haven in Bangor. They have an all you can eat fish fry every Friday night. I have eaten there a half dozen times and every meal has been wonderul, homemade food. From their chili to salads and their pasta... it has all been good. The only drawback is it is a little pricy for a family restaurant and it is a little small - but that is also part of its charm. Nice place to visit on a regular basis!!! Stopped for breakfast and the place was very busy. Placed our order from a nice selection of items. 45 minutes later we were still waiting while watching other tables that filled long after we arrived, were served!! Talked to the manager and the order was not placed until we had questioned the server about it who told us "it's coming soon". We must have had 5 cups of coffee so it wasn't like we were invisible!!! We decided to just pay for our coffee and leave after an hour wait. Too bad as the food looked quite nice on other's plates!! The manager apologized over and over but that's no way to run a business and the server made sure she avoided us as we left. So much for trying a new place that had decent reviews.
