This is such a quaint little spot! We were working our way through the backroads, heading toward the lakeshore on a recent late morning when we came across this cute diner. You are invited to place your order at the counter and then find a seat while you wait for your meal to be brought out. My husband ordered an omelet. It was a special for the day. I went with the corned beef hash breakfast plate. The omelet my husband ordered was very plain. Sparse ingredients and he noticed a plate being placed in a microwave, seemingly to melt the cheese. This is not something we love to see. The omelet also did not include hash-browns, which was not specified. In our opinion the price point would have been better represented with the addition of some breakfast potatoes, alongside! :) My corned beef plate was very tasty!! It came with corned beef, two eggs, breakfast potatoes and delicious toast! We also enjoyed fresh jam - request this if it's not offered to you as they have regular, pre-packaged smuckers on the table, but fresh jam in the cooler! :) The staff were all super kind and helpful! This is a very cute spot - we need more spots like this around our local cute towns! read more

Five 5 stars for sure ! Fabulous little diner in Paw Paw Michigan I-94 & mile marker 67 - We got off the highway to go To Geo rocks store. This diner has been In operation since 1924! Everything was home made with pride . So delicious! Chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes & corn muffin - the best I have ever eaten ! Perfectly seasoned with the best white gravy. too! April ( very sweet owner) greeted us and took great care of us . I felt like we were visiting with cousins. I got some Home made multi berry pie to take home . You want breakfast, then you want to go to the Teapot Dome. This place is adorable, the food is fresh and clearly homemade. The toast comes pre-buttered, and few jams are made in house. We got the pulled pork sandwich, onion rings, cinnamon roll French toast, open faced chili burger, and the ribeye special. The pulled pork sandwich was too big tall to bite, and delicious. Everything was very good. The service was slightly unconventional, but clear that they cared very much about your good experience. In all, this place is It when it comes to diners. I needed to waste some time from a procedure at the Paw Paw Hospital so decided to get some breakfast. It's been awhile since I've eaten here but definitely not disappointed. I was by myself but discovered I needed to go to the window to order first. Then I was seated. Food was great. Service was very good and friendly as I remembered it. Teapot has been around for a long time and you can tell why. Its comfort food and atmosphere show how engrained it is in the community. And, it's packed every time I've been there. We were lucky enough to find 3 spots at the counter, so we grabbed those stools quick. An interesting cast of characters is scattered about from regulars to employees. The staff was friendly and got beverages out to us fast. The food came out super prompt considering how busy they were. We all enjoyed our meals. I got your typical scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. They're homemade raspberry jam is excellent. The hash browns, sadly, were my least favorite part of the meal. Dry and no flavor. I needed some butter and salt for those. Other than that, great experience. read more

Yelp is my go to app for finding new restaurants on our frequent summer trips from IL to our lake cottage in SW MI but this is the 1st time I have been compelled to leave a review. This is a fabulous quaint diner, nothing fancy just delicious food and charming friendly midwesterners The lovely woman who works their ( not sure if she was owner) made a point of coming to our table and making us feel like one of her regulars and enticed us to come back for a home cooked lunch. Breakfast was delicious and the menu is huge and prices very reasonable. Homemade breads, jams, pies and rolls to die for. We will be back! read more

This place is like going to Grandma's for Sunday breakfast. We were on our way to the Flea market and went Right instead of Left and as we were turning around and saw this place. Now, from the outside it doesn't look like much, except there was no parking spots available - a really good sign. So we drop in and every table was taken, so we end up sharing a long table at the front of the place - which was great, we got to meet some of the locals. They have daily specials and traditional breakfast fare. I went with eggs and butter milk pancakes with real "Warm - they keep it in a crockpot" maple syrup and the wife had poached eggs with Raisin Bread and they put cinnamon sugar on it. Service is fast and friendly, the good is great - the chef actually puts on a show, and they treat you like family. Its worth getting off I-94 and getting breakfast. read more

I really enjoyed the vegetable quiche and fruit cup. My husband said his fish sandwich was very good. The service was thoughtful, friendly, and enjoyable. The only downside is that the air conditioning is insufficient and even though they weren't busy, it was almost too warm to enjoy the meal. I bet in the winter it's nice and toasty! read more
