Pulled pork sandwich, onion rings, cinnamon roll French toast, open faced chili burger

You want breakfast, then you want to go to the Teapot Dome. This place is adorable, the food is fresh and clearly homemade. The toast comes pre-buttered, and few jams are made in house. We got the pulled pork sandwich, onion rings, cinnamon roll French toast, open faced chili burger, and the ribeye special. The pulled pork sandwich was too big tall to bite, and delicious. Everything was very good. The service was slightly unconventional, but clear that they cared very much about your good experience. In all, this place is It when it comes to diners. We will be back, and I recommend you check them out too!

Aprils teapot dome is the place for the best breakfast and lunch options! The service is fast and attentive. The whole vibe feels like home! Enjoy good eating and a laugh with locals. I make my own omelette with chicken fried steak in it and bacon. Waffles are fluffy and fresh! Love the Meat loaf , burgers, and fresh salads. #1 place with a perfect menu by April!

Teapot has been around for a long time and you can tell why. Its comfort food and atmosphere show how engrained it is in the community. And, it's packed every time I've been there. We were lucky enough to find 3 spots at the counter, so we grabbed those stools quick. An interesting cast of characters is scattered about from regulars to employees. The staff was friendly and got beverages out to us fast. The food came out super prompt considering how busy they were. We all enjoyed our meals. I got your typical scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. They're homemade raspberry jam is excellent. The hash browns, sadly, were my least favorite part of the meal. Dry and no flavor. I needed some butter and salt for those. Other than that, great experience.

Homemade jam, tasty coffee and generous portions of quality food. Stop here and experience a piece of Michigan History. Teapot Dome has been a restaurant along Red Arrow Highway since 1927.

    Beautiful California omelette!

Looking at the pictures as I leave this review....everything was so yum!!…read more My family and I were a group of ten and we were in the neighboring area for the weekend. It was our last day and we were looking for some good breakfast, our favorite way to spend some girls time together. We went two one place before this and they couldn't accommodate our table size but they recommended a second place. We tried getting there but they said that our group was too big and someone beat us to the table they had open. Thankfully, we found The Breakfast Place that was so quick to accommodate us. We called them on the phone and they told us to come right on it and they'd get a table cleared for us soon. With great speed and pleasure, they found us a table big enough for all of us, got us seated and had the best team of servers to help us. We had a very nice young man who was assisting us and he was so friendly and patient. He also had a young lady assist him. I wish I asked their names but they were great. Both very young and exceptional. Went above and beyond. Everyone was super pleased to see the extensive menu and we all left feeling full and satisfied. Whether we had people craving savory skillets or omelettes or those craving sweet breakfast items like pancakes and French toast, we all left super happy that we were able to eat here. This is a great community staple and if we are in the area again, it'll be the first place we visit. We thank this team for welcoming us and giving us a great experience to close out our weekend in Michigan.

We had high hopes since this is the meal they specialize in, and they did a delightful job. I'm glad we got there early because even though this is a small town, it filled up quick. The littlest decided on the pumpkin cheesecake waffle and a hot chocolate. She loved both of them immensely. The next got a classic breakfast and a hot chocolate. They both commented on how much they loved the hot chocolate. Pancakes are my go to, and these pancakes are large. Along with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, I was completely satisfied. Small town friendliness and delicious food. Worth the visit.

Still good! We…read moredon't go to Deboer's often because it's in a high traffic location that attracts swarms of people/ tourists. The food is good, but not usually worth these long wait times imo. Today, was a cloudy and cold Wednesday mid morning. The place was busy, but no long wait times. The food is always good. Everything I've ever eaten on the menu is good... but I have a special affinity for pig 'n the blankets, banket, and any Mexican inspired breakfast item in the menu. Today I had the chorizo Benny. It was fabulous and worth the $15 imo. Our waiter, Pedro, was the best! He's worked there for over a decade and knows the family that runs this restaurant--- 3 Dutch brothers--- he gave me a run down on the lore and all the pictures are of their family photos hanging around the restaurant. I think that's pretty cool. They will be opening and expanding into a new restaurant location on the corner of River and Lakewood Blvd sometime in the near future. That location will have more of a "hipster" vibe with breakfast cocktails, etc. Check them out when you want... but if you don't want to wait come during off peak hours and off season times. Make sure to peruse their bakery for some goodies to take home. Salud.
