You also get to set your produce favorites and dislikes, so if you're so over kale this summer, just specify no kale and they won't even offer it to you! You can also purchase other items, including local meats, cheese, dairy, eggs, breads, dry groceries, etc. I've even bought Michigan-made sriracha, local kombucha and line-fished salmon! They deliver the goods to your home, or you can register a co-op where multiple people pick up deliveries. My workplace serves as a co-op, so I get deliveries right to work and don't have to worry about not being home to get my delivery. (They will still deliver to your home if you're not there, just specify delivery instructions on your account) I have communicated numerous times with Doorganics, and their customer service is awesome. They are super quick to respond and always have a solution to any problem. They have a satisfaction policy, so if for some reason anything isn't right, they will correct it. One of my favorite things about Doorganics is that there are no fees to sign up, no contracts, and you can pause or cancel your deliveries at any time! I also love that it gets me to try new things. I'd never had a persimmon until I got one in my delivery, and guess what - I love them! The meals have all been very delicious, even as leftovers! Recent examples: Ginger Scallion Chicken, and Chicken Noodle Soup with Matzo Balls. All the ingredients are fresh and the cooking directions are clear and easy, according to my daughter. I merely microwave the leftovers without sacrificing any taste or texture, so far so good. Or the pickle is on the side, but the sandwich bread soaks up all the pickle juice - gross! We had a large lunch meeting today, and we all received a link a few days in advance to the Apple Spice menu. You Everett your name and email, and get to actually pick what you want to eat! They had a really large variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and even soups. The meals also come with a bag of chips and a cookie, and you can pick your additional side. I picked fresh fruit, but they also had a pasta salad option and a few other similar offerings. I was also able to customize my wrap to not include ranch (which would have been automatically on it if just standard pre-made), and I was able to deselect pickle so it wasn't even in my box. Though one of my coworkers got one and I noticed the pickle was wrapped in it's own little Ziploc, so it probably wouldn't have gotten all over everything. Everything in the box is a pretty standard size. I was full off half a wrap, which is normal for lunch. I also ate half my chocolate chunk cookie, which was really good! Like a nice soft batch cookie. One of my coworkers is gluten free, and she even said how nice it was that so many GF options were available. She generally can't even eat catered lunches! Overall very impressed, and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to cater a lunch!

Whenever I've had other pasties, they've been too dry, I think in an effort to avoid a soggy dough. But these were PERFECT. Even my husband commented on the flaky delicious dough! My daughter had the seasonal flatlander (potato and different kinds of cheeses) and my husband had the breakfast pasty (sells out FAST). Both were great but we agreed that the Yooper was the best of the three. We bought these and drove two minutes away to enjoy them while gazing at beautiful Lake Michigan. Service was friendly and quick. Cost in Aug 2024- Three for $20, credit cards accepted. Parking at the South Haven Farmer's Market at 10:30AM on a Wednesday was easy and free right behind the stand, wheelchair accessible. DEFINITELY coming back!
