We stumbled upon the Dalya Estate in the town of Sebastopol. Not knowing much about the area, we took a chance and booked our stay and we are SO glad we did! From the stunning home to the absolutely breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards, we couldn't have landed in a better spot. While we ventured off site for a dinner and wine tastings, we truly never needed to leave the house. The pool was the perfect way to spend the warm Sonoma days and the house allowed us to put the kids to bed while still enjoying each others company in other areas of the home. When we did venture out, we were pleasantly surprised by the access we had to vineyards nearby and the short drive to surrounding towns - St. Helena, Yontville, etc. If you have a large group and are looking for a perfect Napa getaway, look no further than the Dalya Estate...truly felt like a Tuscan getaway and we cannot wait to return!

The house is super clean and large and airy and comfortable. The indoor kitchen has everything you might need, and the outside kitchen with the outdoor pizza oven is amazing! I imagined hearing children shrieking and playing all over the place. When we pulled up to the house, I was very happy to see that the community of homes is VERY spread out, so the home is pretty secluded. We walked up the stairs to find a very cozy home and guest house. The first night was spent cooking, drinking wine, and hanging out in the hot tub. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, so we cooked breakfast and dinner here each day. We were close to the river, so we spend the second day kayaking. The home has a TV/DVD player, so when we were exhausted in the evening, we could relax and watch movies or play some of the games available in the house. Wineries are not too far, so we spent the third day wine tasting. We had a great vacation, and we hope to return next summer!

The couple (little things) that could use improvement but don't make or break whether I would come back is toilet paper was the cheap thin kind, and the water temp in the shower even at the warmest setting was just warm, but not steamy hot. I like my showers decently hot, so that was a bit annoying and idk if I could have asked to have it adjusted when I was there, but it wasn't a huge issue so I didn't bother the owner about it. But other than that, loved everything else. Bed was comfy. Easy booking and check in/check out process. Would love to stay there again!

The estate is located on the banks of Russian River and only a pleasant 20 minute walk away from Downtown Healdsburg. We arrived after dark to find our friends around the fire pit enjoying some incredible barbeque. I was pretty impressed even with my first walk through of the property in the dark! There are a series of elegantly themed cottages surrounding a main Queen Anne Style home. Whoever decorated this place is a genius. Every corner has a unique detail to discover! There is a rooster house with all kinds of adorable pieces and an Oak house with a tree through the kitchen! The spread out cottages allowed for privacy and serenity. I've never slept better! In the morning, I woke up surrounded by the electric colors of fall. I also noticed that the estate was surrounded by all kinds of colorful fruit trees and vegetation. None of us wanted to leave! Sweet sweet escape. It only took us an hour to get back to San Francisco! I can't wait to go back!
