Couldn't verify any of the complaints. Staff at the front, greeter at the door as well as the valet guy, were all cordial. The lobby was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree and a very chill vibe indeed. Rooms were quaint with nice accomodations (large LED flat screen and brand new fridge hidden inside cabinet. Bed was comfy and firm with new beddings. I'm usually picky with pillows so I brought my own. Closet had complimentary white robes and slippers. Bathroom had sliding door and a Smart mirror. Shower had hard rain water. Our room overlooked the parking lot so we had plain view of our car. La Rosa Tequileria and Grille is next door or not sure if this is affiliated with the hotel. But when we would pass as we walked to the mall (about a few blocks away or a hop and skip away), the restaurant was always packed (indoor and outdoor). We didn't get to try La Rosa as our dinner reservation was with Warike (Peruvian and literally across the street.). Prices at Warike seemed steep in comparison to La Rosa, but everything was worth every dime. Everything we ordered there was flavorful and delicious with excellent ambience and customer service. Our overnight stay was a pleasant one and will definitely be back soon and would recommend this hotel to all. It seemed pretty quite but busy when we stayed here on NYE, but that's a sign that this little town is still flourishing. Parking at the hotel is a hit or miss. But there's always the option to have VIP parking and they will park your car for you, about two blocks away next to the theater.

They didn't offer any afternoon coffee or snacks. I'm used to free cookies or complimentary wine when booking a bed and breakfast! A few snacks offered in the bedroom for a fee. Someone wrote happy birthday to my daughter with two little Godiva chocolates in the room. The Inn was clean. The breakfast was minimal. Fresh scrambled eggs with burnt bacon. Fresh fruit looked great but the blueberries were so tart it was hard to eat. The pastry looked amazing but wasn't fresh! Tasted like it was store bought. Very disappointed!

Unfortunately, several things throughout the experience left us disappointed, especially considering the price. The pool menu lists several wines, but we were told that the only options actually available were Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco. My mom specifically wanted the Pinot Noir listed on the menu, so it was disappointing to find out that it wasn't available. We ended up ordering two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc. The menu clearly lists it at $14 per glass, but we were charged $18 per glass ($36 total). I'm not sure if the menu was outdated or if there was an additional charge that wasn't explained, but the discrepancy was confusing. After having our drinks, we went to sit in a couple of lounge chairs that did not have reserved signs on them. Leo, the bartender, came over and told us that the chairs were reserved because they were in front of a cabana. We were happy to move, but it was frustrating to be told this after the fact when there was nothing indicating that the chairs were reserved. The pool area was also fairly quiet, so the interaction left us feeling unnecessarily unwelcome. None of these things individually would have been a huge deal, but together they made the experience feel less polished and relaxing than we expected from a spa at this price point. The property itself is lovely, but for over $400 for two massages, I expected more attention to detail, accurate menu pricing, and a more welcoming experience. Unfortunately, there were just too many small disappointments for this to feel like the elevated spa experience we were expecting.

While we aren't traditional "B&B" types with flowerly and overly feminine designs, we opened our minds up after reading all about the amazing experiences people have had at the Honor Mansion. Upon arrival at the Mansion we were greeted by Lupita, who is the manager of the property. She was extremely professional, extremely welcoming, and made our experience so special. The main Mansion is really lovely and had touches of traditional B&Bs (a parlor, a breakfast room, DVDs to borrow and a fireplace for chatting, rooms upstairs) with a modern, contemporary Victorian style. We stayed in Vineyard Suite #1, which is located in an annex near the main Mansion. The suite was exceptional. From the bedding (I think it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in and I travel for a living) to the bath tubs (TWO, count them TWO tubs - one a soaking tub inside and the other outside is a jacuzzi). A fireplace, big TV (we didn't even use!), wet bar (brandy anyone?), a beautiful huge shower that is big enough for a small family to live in, and a lovely, private back patio (again, jacuzzi tub). They anticipate every amenity and need you may have - and they do a great job at it. Wine was waiting for us in our room, but we instead enjoyed a glass of Dutcher Crossing offered at our welcome with Lupita. They also have appetizers in the evening in the Mansion. We walked downtown to Healdsburg for dinner at Valette, and took a cab back. Tea was delivered to our door in the morning with delicious homemade biscotti. After a relaxing wake up, we wandered to the Mansion for an exceptional breakfast. They have different specials each day - this day it was a Southwestern style omelette with cheddar biscuits (with a hint of jalapeno!). We also nibbled on fresh fruit and pastries. They can bring breakfast to your suite, but we loved the cozy breakfast nook and chatting with the friendly staff. Oh, and I forgot - MIMOSAS! They have the longest list I have ever seen of mimosas! We tried the mimosa of the month - pomegranate. It was high quality sparkling and the flavor was so great. You get two complimentary per guest, so enjoy. We walked the grounds and wished we had more time for bocce and warmer weather for the pool - pool side massage? Yes, please! We loved it so much we bought a gift certificate for my parents. Let's just say - if they don't use it, we will! An exceptional, romantic experience for fans of tradition and fans of the modern.

The road noise made sleeping almost impossible except during the wee hours of the morning. The room itself is probably 30 feet from a major 4-lane road with heavy traffic. Overall for the price I was very disappointed in the state of the room itself more than anything. To the host's credit they had someone come clean the room while we were out for the day, which was much appreciated. If the property was quieter I'd probably give it another shot but the combo of issues really killed our stay.

Each bathroom even had extra amenities you wouldn't expect like make-up remover and cotton balls - such a nice touch! I've paid a lot less for hotels that have included way better birthday amenities. 3. The room is nice but nothing exceptional. 4. Smores hour is cute but the smores are definitely stale. 5. I dropped something behind the tub and it was clear things had not been cleaned back there. Everything else was very clean, and that is important to me. 6. The restaurant is overrated. We would come back just for this as staying at farmhouse gets you exceptional service at the partner wineries. This is what makes it special! 2. The wine happy hour hosts were also great. Special shoutout to freeman who was extra sweet to us. 3. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The service really stands out and brings this hotel up to 4 stars. 4. The lobby cat is very cute!

It was a TREAT to check-in and get an immediate outpour of love and welcomes. I was offered water, choice of soaps and bath salts from a local selection, and a tour around the property. We arrived after dark and I was so glad I didn't have to stumble around to find my room. My room was cozy and the decor was farm chic. Turn down service was already complete with rice crispy treats on the table the first night and chunky chocolate chip cookies the second night (both incredible). The room was gorgeous and I felt right at home. There were two fridges, one for wine and another for beer and non-alcoholic drinks. The fire place and outdoor fire pit were nice features. I enjoyed the homemade marshmallows at the s'mores table outside. Again, small touches of luxury and love. We felt like we had the entire grounds to ourselves most of the time. We hardly saw the other guests. The grounds were beautifully kept as well as the rooms. It looked like a AD Magazine feature! We attended the wine happy hour, with pours from a local winery. You get a tasting and can purchase a bottle (or more) to enjoy. Some brought their own snacks, otherwise no nibbles were served. We had plans in the area and didn't eat on-site. The on-site restaurant menu looked great and it was a nice option for those who simply wanted to stay and relax. It certainly highlighted farm fresh ingredients. I also did not get a chance to try the Wellness Barn, but I would love to go. There is an outdoor pool, ice cold when I was there. However, the hot tub looked inviting. I forgot my swimsuit, but you must bring yours. Check with the front desk about pool hours. Overall, the staff are kind, hard working, and really try to make your stay special. I loved using the local soaps and salts during my stay. The treats left in the room were definitely delightful. Their pastry chef is excellent. Not so great: *The lights and noise from the refrigerator. *Steam shower did not work and the staff didn't know how to use it. The shower (minus stream pipe) and jacuzzi tub worked perfectly.

The repainted, put in new linoleum floors, super cheap beds, they are really cots with a soft matress put on top, they are not real beds. They give you a child size table and 2 child size chairs to sit on. A mini fridge, which is okay, and a very tiny microwave. They do not do yard maintenance, even though they say it is more natural and organic and better for wildlife, and to save water. They said the mow every 2-3 weeks. There are huge rosemary shrubs in front of all of the rooms. They are overgrown and should be trimmed, your view is blocked. There are a few plastic tables and Adirondack type chairs out in the field, but nothing near your room if you want to sit outside. There is a nice pool which they lock up every night at 7pm, so your family has to get out at 7pm. The bathrooms are small but come with towels, etc. They have hair dryers, soap and shampoo.
