Bocce ball, wine flight, kid friendly

Furthermore winery was amazing for a family with little kids. Walk ins welcome. No reservations needed. Kid friendly. They even gave our kids monster trucks to play with. Bocce ball and plenty of space to run around. You can bring your own snacks/food in to enjoy with your wine. The server was so attentive and personable. A great experience.

Attended a Sunday free music event on the patio. Performers were a duo who played and sang a variety of songs mostly in the style of Brazilian bossa nova. Patio area is in tree covered semi-shade and and has a few umbrellas. There are tables for two, four, eight gatherings. We bought 4 glasses of wine to sample a diverse tasting. Furthermore has a long list of different pinot noirs. We also drank the rose and chardonnay. Wine is so tasty that I joined the wine club. Average bottle price is around $50. Serving staff were all friendly, informative and helpful. The summer music series runs through September, check the website calendar. I plan to attend some more musical events. 5 stars!

We joined our neighbors for a fun afternoon at Furthermore, taking advantage of their membership. We shared a wonderful spread, tasted some wines, shared a bottle and played some Bocce while a talented blues/lounge singer tickled the ivories and sang. The tasting pours were a little short but the Pinot we bought was very good. They have a nice outdoor space and staff are friendly.

I was taken here today for wine tasting , I'm not local I'm from Miami Florida, you sit outside which is ok because it ls beautiful outside. We were treated by Yanet the sweetest ever she attended to us any questions she answered and she's from Miami as well I'd return just to chat with her we did wine tasting the wines were exceptional! I left with 5 bottles because they were very good wines !!

Furthermore wines is a smaller boutique vineyard in the Sebastopol area. We had such a great experience! We had our tasting in the little courtyard area and got a great variety of wines to try. Pinot noir is my favorite type of wine and all of the pinots we tried were delicious. Our host, Alex, was very knowledgeable about the wines, vineyard, and was a wonderful guide throughout our experience. We were able to ship a few bottles of wine home to PA as well! I definitely recommend stopping by and supporting Furthermore wines if you are in the area!

We stopped here driving through to Healdsburg. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely will be back. They have the most amazing wines in a truly picturesque setting. Alex was a perfect host and very knowledgeable of the wines and area.

Pinot! Pinot! Pinot! I kind of wish that's all this review would be but there's more to say. First the outside area is super fun with bocce and bag toss. They are kid friendly with area to run around and enjoy the huge trees and vineyards. The couple who was pouring were knowledgeable and friendly (thanks Pat!). Ok, the good stuff, the wine. Chard was good, not too oak-y but they specialize in Pinot and you can tell. Tried 5 and all were different showcasing what Pinot can bring from the nose to the finish and everywhere in between. That alone would be 5 stars. But wait, there's more! Do not skip the rosé which for me was the stand out favorite.

Welcome sign outside of the winery.

They have a massive deck in front, and on a beautiful day, as we had, we got to sit out there and enjoy some delicious wines. I thought the wines were good, but I liked the space more. It has a bit of a retro vibe and many shaded areas to relax. We had a good time sipping and chatting. If you're in the area, I would say stop, get a few glasses, and enjoy that oversized patio. For some reason, the servicer was busy doing other things, although I think we were the only people there. I'll assume she was setting up or cleaning. The service was mediocre at best. We enjoyed the big patio/deck sipping with friends a perfect way to spend your Saturday afternoon. Cheers to you and SYOY

So after we hit Paul Matthew's Winery I had scheduled a visit with Bowman Cellars around the corner…read moreand was greeted by the energetic Flynn. She was attentive for awhile but then lost us because she stopped coming out and pouring more wine. I was booked for a one hour appointment that took 2 plus hours because Flynn seemed out of it or something was up. But idk what it was perhaps she was keeping herself busy with something inside! Hmmm ?! So she started us with a predominant gooseberry Sauvignon Blanc and then we had the Rose of Pinot Noir from Mendocino because the fruit is less expensive than the fruit in the Russian River Valley okay so it was decent with flavors of ripe red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry and a textured finish! Then we had the Chardonnay which was decent quality for a Chardonnay it had seen 20^ new oak gave it flavor and then we had the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir which was okay not great it had complexity but not much after hitting Paul Mathew's Pinot dense winery this Pinot seemed to be just okay and then we got to the final wine a red Zinfandel from the Sierra Foothills area and it was big and bold but lacking distinctive flavors. I didn't love it! . Then since they're not especially friendly towards those in the business because it's a 15% discount on wines purchased where I usually get a 30% discount and a comped tasting to which they usually will offer the rose' and Sauvignon Blanc to anyone in the industry!! Only I mean who is in the wine industry and wants to drink those wines, not me!! But I stand corrected because she did comp 2 of the tastings!! And that's good or required because I asked to be comped and was given some goofy answer as to they decide at the end of the tasting who gets comped or not but the fee is only $25 bones so not bad. Further, I requested to taste their Cabs to which theirs 1 from Alexander Valley and 1 from Oakville, Napa area and Flynn said yes, but warned me they had been opened on Thursday and it's Saturday so taken that point in I really liked the Cab from Alexander Valley because it had a light tone to it with a richness of blackberry fruit and savory spices it was superb while the one from Napa tasted dead on arrival!! Oh well but I could taste the potential of the wine within it!! And we left after tipping $40 bones!!

This business does not care about it's customers and is so impossible to reach it's almost comical…read more I was a long-term customer of Fog Crest. In 2024 we received a shipment of wine where all the wine in the shipment was broken. In typical situations, wineries offer replacement of broken bottles, but Fog Crest was impossible to reach in spite of (literally) 50 phone calls and emails. Since I couldn't reach them, I canceled my subscription to their wine club. Flash forward a few months, they charge me another ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but never ship me any wine (in spite of the fact that I had already canceled online). Again, dozens of calls and emails, no answer and no response. Still trying. A few months after that, they charge me ANOTHER ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but don't ship that wine to me either. After probably 100 calls and emails, I finally talk to the wine club coordinator on the phone. She of course acknowledges my dozens of messages, and acknowledges my situation. She says she will replace the wine that was broken and figure out why they've been charging me for wine I haven't been receiving and make it right. But that she can't talk right now and she'd call me back with more information. That was a month ago. I've now called again dozens of times, and emailed. No response. Called and emailed the owner, no response. This is borderline criminal: $1,500 in charges for undelivered product, a non-existent customer service experience, and an online system so archaic that it doesn't process your cancelation and continues to charge you for product.

Zero Accountability and Terrible Customer Service - Avoid Fog Crest!…read more I'm absolutely appalled by my experience with Fog Crest Winery. We joined their wine club in 2023 and was charged $420 all of 2024/25 for wine that they NEVER shipped. When I called to inquire about where the wine was, I was met with complete silence--multiple calls and messages went unanswered. After finally getting a call back, the person said they only called me back because "she saw we had called a lot in one day." That was the first red flag. She promised to credit my account and look into another charge that had been applied. It's been SEVEN days since that conversation, and STILL no credit, no updates, and no resolution. I've followed up with multiple calls, messages, and emails... NOTHING. At this point, it's clear that they don't care about their customers. I highly recommend staying far away from Fog Crest if you value your time and money. Total waste of both

My husband booked the reserve tasting ($90, but one tasting fee is waived with the purchase of 3 bottles - which we took advantage of). Their pinot noirs are fantastic - you can smell and taste the french oak. Scott was our host and he was awesome. Really personable, knowledgeable, and friendly - would definitely request him again (if we're able) when we come back next! Upon arrival, we checked in and got to choose where we wanted to sit -inside or outside. It's a relatively small space, but we enjoyed our spot outside, as it was great weather that day. Everyone has a different palette, but we enjoyed the Warren's Hill pinot - which had a grippier, more tannin-heavy taste (than typical pinot noirs we were associated with). Aromatic, umami, darker berry fruit forward. As I preluded, the sauvignon blanc was fantastic - very fruity on the nose. Clean and bright, and I get predominantly pineapple/tropical notes. Would definitely come back again. We joined their allocation list, as they don't offer a typical wine club experience.

Place was empty aside from one other party so they were able to accommodate the walk in. The tasting room itself is nicely decorated, clean, spacious, with a more private room in the back and several tables outside. Reason from giving this place a 5 stars is we felt this place was very transactional and not personable like many other wineries in the Sonoma area. Once the tasting flight is done they ask you to either join the club for the comp, buy two bottles, or pay the $35 tasting fee - no offer to revisit any wines or pour something extra they have in inventory. I was curious to try their Sonoma cost Syrah but they didn't have any bottles open. Wines themselves were fine - enjoyed the Pinot rose and Chardonnay (made in Chablis style so more minerality), but their Pinot noirs were quite different from the typical Sonoma coast ones I've had (e.g Williams seylem, Kosta browne, Rochiolli, Arista, etc). These were much darker and less aromatic, no tannins and fuller bodied with some spice notes but short finish. The gentleman pouring for us said these are good to pair with foods, which I could imagine is true. Their estate syrah is similar in style, so similar to their Pinot noir actually, a lighter bodies and ABV Syrah that doesn't have the depth and complexity as syrahs from Paso region that I personally enjoy. But anyways, these are personal preference - when I mentioned a specific tasting note, our host basically said I was wrong. I laughed it off and went along with it, but it didn't sit well.
