The property has direct access to the river, including a small dock where you can fish, which was a highlight for our family. There's also a lovely fire pit area, and the s'mores kits were such a fun touch for the kids. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning. The large grassy area was perfect for the kids to run around and play, and there are plenty of games available as well, including board games and Jenga. These little touches made it easy for the kids to stay entertained and enjoy the property. The rooms are on the smaller side, but having a mini refrigerator in each room was incredibly helpful when traveling with kids, especially with a larger family group. The owners were exceptionally nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. It's clear that they take a lot of pride in the property and genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. It's a charming, family-friendly spot with thoughtful amenities and a beautiful setting right on the Russian River. Downtown was a short walk (groceries, pizza, sandwiches, anything you need) and on the property there were kitchen spaces for us to hang out with plenty to do on the property. Rooms #11 & 12 were amazing. 11 is the larger room and larger bathroom with 2 full beds. 12 has a pullout sofa and full bed. Easily sleeps 2 couples in each room or mom and dad and 2 kids, but that's not what you're there for. Outside (if you take both spaces) is a large outdoor deck divided in half by a wall but connected so you can get from one room to the other. It has a shared yard beyond that. The landscaping is amazing. The property is on the river with tons of space to chill in the water. They have a deck for the facility and everyone can use it. It's shared so be prepared to be with other people but it is a place that seems to attract a good crowd. Everyone who we ran into there was nice. Another thing on the property they was cool was coffee, fresh ice cold filtered water, popcorn, and the front desk made the kids cotton candy daily. There is an ice machine there as well so you can roast in the sun and drink ice cold filtered water till you pop. That part of the place is in the outdoor kitchen which is community and has board games and seating for everyone. Outside the kitchen is bathrooms and seating areas. 2 fireplaces for s'mores and I believe a bbq pit (I can't remember we have a travel size Traegar they let us use) as well. If I were to get married or have a party it would 1000% be here. I think there is 12 rooms and I'd rent the whole spot for it without even thinking twice. Maybe bring extra help to keep the party rolling but this place legit is perfect for it. They also have like a VIP outdoor seating area we didn't end up getting but has a TV and some "roped off" area to hang out at that is an amazing setup. I can keep going but we loved this place. Even upon arrival our room had spiders have babies in the room (happens yall it's on the river and def outdoorsy) and my wife felt awkward asking because we didn't want to sound like the complaining people but we asked for a vacuum to get them out. The lady actually came in the room and helped us. 5 star stay. 5 star people, oh and being a licensed contractor and getting along with people who work, the people who kept the grounds were cool too. Super nice to our kids, and when you see the landscape, you can tell they are good at their job. Can't say enough good stuff. We will be back.

We looked at a lot of venues all over California and when we visited Beltane we knew it had to be there. We were looking for a venue that had nearby guest accommodations (200+ person wedding) but would allow for us to stay on site with our families and really slow down and enjoy that time with them. Beltane has a magic about it that can't be quantified and it's from the care that Lauren & the entire team put into every detail. We stayed with both of our families Thursday - Monday and hosted our rehearsal dinner there on Thursday night. The food was incredible thanks to Chef Neil, every detail was so thoughtful, and the whole thing just flowed. Our families felt completely at home. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and we couldn't have been more relaxed. Lauren, Alexandria, Elise, Angie, Brian and the entire team are the best at what they do. They were flexible, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our weekend special. In an industry full of venues that feel impersonal and transactional, Beltane is the epitome of warmth and personality. We can't recommend Beltane enough.

I asked for an amenity for the birthday celebration and we were promised something waiting. I had to ask again and we ended up with two pieces of chocolate. I've paid a lot less for hotels that have included way better birthday amenities. 3. The room is nice but nothing exceptional. 4. Smores hour is cute but the smores are definitely stale. 5. I dropped something behind the tub and it was clear things had not been cleaned back there. Everything else was very clean, and that is important to me. 6. The restaurant is overrated. Go to other spots for the vibe and food. The pros: 1. I absolutely love the connections that this hotel has to wineries and wine tasting. We would come back just for this as staying at farmhouse gets you exceptional service at the partner wineries. This is what makes it special! 2. The wine happy hour hosts were also great. It was a TREAT to check-in and get an immediate outpour of love and welcomes. I was offered water, choice of soaps and bath salts from a local selection, and a tour around the property. We arrived after dark and I was so glad I didn't have to stumble around to find my room. My room was cozy and the decor was farm chic. Turn down service was already complete with rice crispy treats on the table the first night and chunky chocolate chip cookies the second night (both incredible). The room was gorgeous and I felt right at home. There were two fridges, one for wine and another for beer and non-alcoholic drinks. The fire place and outdoor fire pit were nice features. I enjoyed the homemade marshmallows at the s'mores table outside. Again, small touches of luxury and love. We felt like we had the entire grounds to ourselves most of the time. We hardly saw the other guests. The grounds were beautifully kept as well as the rooms. It looked like a AD Magazine feature! We attended the wine happy hour, with pours from a local winery. You get a tasting and can purchase a bottle (or more) to enjoy. Some brought their own snacks, otherwise no nibbles were served. We had plans in the area and didn't eat on-site. The on-site restaurant menu looked great and it was a nice option for those who simply wanted to stay and relax. It certainly highlighted farm fresh ingredients. I also did not get a chance to try the Wellness Barn, but I would love to go. There is an outdoor pool, ice cold when I was there. However, the hot tub looked inviting. I forgot my swimsuit, but you must bring yours. Check with the front desk about pool hours. Overall, the staff are kind, hard working, and really try to make your stay special. I loved using the local soaps and salts during my stay. The treats left in the room were definitely delightful. Their pastry chef is excellent. Both places were beautifully decorated and furnished. They were also exceptionally clean. The kitchens in both places were very well equipped for gourmet cooking. Just a couple examples of unexpected food prep and entertainment equipment are coffee grinders, food scales, large serving plates, and extensive stemware for wine. Very unexpected supplies included whole bean coffee, fresh fruit and two bottles of wine. There are also a large number of toys and sports equipment in the garages. My son brought his own golf clubs and got in a round of golf while we were there, but the Wineberry Lodge has two sets of golf clubs in the garage in case someone does not want to transport their own clubs. The site is beautiful and located in a very convenient area for golf, wine tasting, and in my case about a three-minute drive from the Vine Hill House wedding venue Heidi was a wonderful host. I highly recommend either or both of Wineberry Lodge and Blackberry Cottage for a wine country getaway.

When we arrived, there was a sign on the door telling us to go upstairs and pick out whatever room we wanted. I loved the easy-going attitude. We went upstairs and chose a cute room (all rooms are cute- and there are only 4 rooms). There were a lot of board games at Fanny's, and rooms, I think, are $160 a night. That night we were able to walk to a nearby brewery (2 blocks away), and drink and talked and ordered yummy calimari without having to worry about driving home. You don't have to worry about being locked out of Fanny's, as it stays unlocked at night. Visiting from Oakland, it felt so good to walk around a night without an iota of worry. The highlight - breakfast. The woman who made us breakfast used to have a restaurant and made us the most gourmet, yummy, balanced breakfast! We had individually-made quiches, salad with parmesan, fruit, two types of bread to choose from, and a homemade apple tart. And yummy juice. I mean, wow, I was not expecting that. It was soooo sooo oSOOOSoo O SO good. o so good. O so good. Yum. And a beautiful presentation. Bountiful and lip-smacking country good. I'd definitely stay here again!
