The apartments are in desperate need of updating. They need to update the furniture, add decorative pillows, update the dark cabinets in the kitchen, and get rid of the ugly brown carpet. Also, requiring guests to talk to the salespeople in order to get a wristband is not okay. We have been owners for over 20 years. If we want to buy more points we will. The salespeople make me feel uncomfortable so I avoid going into the lobby, or getting the wristband. I use only my key to go to the pool. The desk clerk said that if I don't have a wristband we may be stopped at the pool by security who will ask for our wristbands. I have my key card, why do I need a wristband? I think it's because they want us to sit through the sales pitch. Very annoying and contrived. The pool was very murky. Otherwise, I like the location. It's close to Healdsburg with great restaurants. Windsor is also super cute and the Sunday farmers market is fun. read more

So the rooms, cleanish; the cabinets and cupboards were sticky. Everything in the room is squeaky when you move it, and some of the closets, were hard to open/close. The rooms are obviously stocked with the cheapest everything, which is understandable, since guests probably abuse the items and the need to be replaced often. The grounds and stay was acceptable. However, the single star is for the awful sales team and their evil tactics. I was staying with two owners who were being harassed, made to make a deposit to see a sales pitch, and then threatened and lied to. Why I ask would anyone who is not an owner want to become an owner when this is how owners are treated?!? It's insane. Why they think these methods would make people want to get in deeper with them, is beyond me. Please don't trust these fear mongering sales people. I haven't a clue how they sleep at night, but it makes the company and this location look repulsive. If I were Worldmark, I would reconsider my strategy and treatment of share/stake holders. Because who would want to join a "club" of people who are being treated this way, and the only benefit is staying at mediocre locations. You can find better places to stay who actually care about their customers and don't harass them. read more

I enjoy this WorldMark location, the amenities are great - from the billiards and table tennis, to the pool and multiple hot tubs. I also really appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, the prompt service whenever anything is needed, and the nearby golf course is a nice compliment to the whole thing. The only reason this place does not get a five star review is due to the paywalled internet access. This location has poor cell phone coverage, and the wireless internet here is $49 for internet on three devices. We roll in as a family of four, two adults and two kids, with cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Even if we only did our cell phones to ensure we can call and text it would be ~$100 for ten days of internet - that's straight up crazy work! Other than this rather important issue, the place is great by every other metric, but unless you either plan to "unplug" while in your room, or don't mind dropping ~$100+ for the luxury of basic speed internet access in 2025, this item is an important one to keep in mind. read more

Worldmark Windsor is beautiful. The property is large but spacious and quiet. It's a lovely area and there's lots to do in Windsor. The golf course is right near by and is reasonably priced. Horrible customer service and a complete lack of compassion. I understand that checkout had already been extended multiple times, and I can appreciate that staff have schedules and policies to follow. However, after explaining that I was literally 8 minutes away getting something meaningful for my husband to honor his late mother on his first Mother's Day without her -- and explaining that this has been an especially difficult month for him emotionally -- housekeeping still forced him out of the room instead of showing even a small amount of understanding or flexibility. What upset me most was the principle of it. Eight minutes would not have made or broken their day, but that moment mattered deeply to our family. When I explained the situation, the response was essentially that he could wait in the lobby instead. What they failed to consider was that the lobby was a far walk, and my husband works a physically demanding job and genuinely needed the opportunity to rest. The entire interaction felt cold, unnecessary, and incredibly insensitive during an emotional weekend for our family. A little kindness and basic human decency would have gone a long way. I am disgusted at the way the front desk and management doubled down on this and forced him to wait on the curb. I genuinely hope the staff members involved are fortunate enough to still have their mothers, and that when they eventually experience that kind of loss, they never encounter people so consumed by policies that they forget basic humanity and compassion. Went on to the Wyndham website and was going to book at stay. Was disappointed that the rate went up from 15000 Wyndham rewards points to 30000 a night. The other thing is there has been no upgrades or advancements on most of their properties in the last 10 years. Its the same boring grab that it is but the prices doubled. Also fascinating to read the other comments. The company only cares about the bottom line. I would love to know the reason for ripping us off. Got rushed out of my room even though my wife had called for late checkout, made to wait in parking lot, inhospitable

Sooo, my husband and I desperately needed a vacation and since we're owners with WorldMark, he booked our stay at WorldMark Windsor. I arrived at the timeshare early because I wanted to surprise him with a sweet message. I was assisted by Lisa and told her about my "great idea" of using rose petals to say I U Lee. Lisa, Rosa and Steven agreed to play along and pretend to only meet me for the first time when my husband and I arrived later together. When we arrived, Dillon assisted us because Lisa and Steven were with other owners and Rosa was on break. All went well, but you have to watch the video. All the staff at Windsor were amazing! I think this location is my favorite so far. The suite was clean, beautiful and decorated very nicely. The grounds were clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi for hours. We'll absolutely be back in the future! I highly recommend you visit soon! read more

I have stayed at probably at least 50 hotels throughout California in my life, and this one is very near the top. There is a lot of good, and a little not-so-great points. The best parts are: This property is very large, and they have insane amenities. We got the 2-bdrm suite, which was basically a full apartment for a great price. It was a very welcome respite from San Francisco city during a trip in the area. It was so calm and welcoming, and having two bathrooms was great for my family of four. They truly considered the comfort of their guests, and we had a wonderful time grilling on the patio and doing their weekly Bingo tournament. It was such a quiet and beautiful area (despite construction across the street). My family was happy and comfortable for our 3-day stay. The negatives are somewhat minor, as I thought the service was pretty decent, and attentive and the parking was fairly open. The problems were only that the WiFi was very expensive, and the walls were a little thin. It is not in a central location, but it's perfect if you are looking for a getaway that feels like home. read more

I stayed at the Worldmark in Windsor by Wyndham for 4 days. The main bathroom had no shower curtain. When we called the next morning, we were told that housekeeping didn't come in until 10 am. No one else offered to bring one up-really. They charge outrages rates for Internet. No other hotel or motel I've stayed at charges for Internet. It should be free for the amount of money they charge for a room fee. They also require armbands for anyone wanting to use the pool. Too bad they don't have a lifeguard. There were many people holding the gate open for others so they could sneak in. Worldmark will pay people to badger members in the foyer, but will not pay for a lifeguard. Nice. read more

The little one bedroom place was nicely updated and worked for what we needed. What has me give 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is a few things. There was no soap or typical supplies when you stay somewhere and the only thing provided was the conditioning shampoo that was attached to the wall in shower which is really only ok for maybe men with not a lot of hair. For a woman it left my hair dry and difficult to manage. There were many areas of the development under construction which is understandable but it did make for a lot of noise which made sitting on the patio not pleasant. There was a dog in one of the places near ours that was left alone often and would bark all day. The water heater in the unit was very loud anytime hot water was used. read more

The best WorldMark property we've stayed in so far. Great room, nice people, well situated, their fireplace actually worked correctly too. The grounds were quite nice with many things to do while staying here. Everything seemed well kept. Too bad the place was in Windsor, not a very good area this time of year. Its either foggy or its raining, or trying to do both at the same time. Too cold to even use the BBQ on the patio which was a first for us. I live to grill, my motto: Mongo say, meat, fire, good! We'd definitely stay here again if their was a reason to come this way some day. This last visit to the bay area is most likely the last visit. Its in a constant state of gridlock whenever we were out and about. Frisco has been ravaged by time, its fabled charm is mostly living in the rear view mirror. Great location in the Sonoma County WorldMark Windsor is the closest resort from our home. We've stayed at this quiet resort a few times. It is our home away from home while visiting many places in the Sonoma County. Windsor is surrounded by plenty of wineries and, of course, the beautiful Russian River Valley. The resort is clean and accommodations have always been what is expected from WorldMark. The staff are friendly but the part we hate the most is when they start offering these "60-min owner updates." It's never 60 minutes and it's always more than an update. They always try to get you with a $75 Amex card, Wyndham Reward Credits, or some kind of pass for wine tasting for attending. Ugh! Anyway, just 10 minutes away we drove to Downtown Healdsburg to enjoy boutique shops and wineries. Bodega Bay is 31 miles from the resort... we've enjoyed the scenic drive to Bodega Bay with views of the mighty Pacific Ocean along the California coast, we've also stopped by some of the beaches along the way. During our last stay here we enjoyed a drive at the Highway 128 California Wine Country... a scenic stretch of 144 miles. We didn't get as far as the Mendocino Coast but we crossed through Sonoma County, Napa Valley and west of Yolo County. WorldMark Windsor was the nicest place I saw available in the Santa Rosa area. It's in Windsor which is about 30 minutes away from Santa Rosa. We came here for a few nights and won't ever stay at a hotel again. Time share condos are honestly the best vacation place to stay. We booked a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. There was a toaster, large fridge, stove, utensils, grill, plates, bowls, mixing bowls, spices, washing machine/dryer, etc. All I needed dish washing tablets and cooking oil. We went to Whole Foods before going there during several days of rain and we had amazing home-cooked meals the entire stay (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, salads, etc.) One thing that stood out to me was how clean everything was. Everything looked new. I added a vase of flowers and felt at home immediately! Some things to note, the walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear footsteps and slamming of doors. The bedrooms have blinds but no drapes so outdoor street lights shine into the rooms. The heating system didn't work in the bedrooms and only in the living room so I was very cold the first night. Both bedrooms had a bathroom with tubs/showers. As a result of not having heating inside the bedrooms, I slept on pull out bed and that solved all my problems. I was warm and the room was heated to 76 degrees and since the living room also had drapes, it was dark enough to sleep. Service was good overall. We were welcomed warmly. My partner needed an extra two hours in the morning for a business meeting and Ken accommodated him! Will definitely love to return in the future! We enjoyed the Schultz museum and gift shop in the nearby Santa Rosa and the Santa Rosa/Windsor restaurants were great! P.S. I took a star off because my partner left a new 30 dollar Yeti tumbler in the dishwasher (see pic of kitchen and turquoise Yeti tumbler) and even though we called the day we left the premises, no one ever found the beloved Yeti tumbler! We made several follow up calls to no avail. You would think that housekeeping would bring it into Lost and Found because we were told to confirm our address at the beginning of our stay in case we left anything behind so that they would mail us back our belongings if necessary. Sad but someone stole the Yeti tumbler (either housekeeping or a new renter) but there's no good reason why their inventory wasn't tallied after we left and the Yeti tumbler returned to us. read more

The setting at the WorldMark Windsor is specular. It's in the middle of Sonoma County wine country with lots of options for wine tasting and outstanding dining. The resort itself is very well maintained and comfortable. The units are fairly well stocked and very clean. The staff at the front desk are great (Lisa was exceptional) ... very helpful during check in and really throughout our week long stay. There is an independant spa service on site as well and it was very good (massage, facials, etc ...I've had better but it was fine). Now, here's the "but." If you want Internet, forget it. It is not included in the price of your accommodations. But there is a plan you can buy from a third party that apparently contracts with WorldMark (ResortNet). At check in, to our surprise, the front desk staff was very honest informing us that the Internet not only wasn't free, it is very slow, and doesn't work much of the time. A week without reliable Internet was bad enough (streaming worked sometimes, but often buffered as the speed was slight higher than dial up). But having to pay extra for it is an insult to guests, and if you depend on Internet, DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT. Also, you will need a car here. (which isn't that big of a deal). The resort is not in town and you'll need to drive into Windsor for shopping, dining, etc. It is out in the country on its own with nothing else close by. And, while they have a couple of very nice pools, neither one is adults only. If you're looking for a relaxing quiet day at the pool, this is not the place for that. It's awesome for families with children, though, so if you're good with no Internet and a noisy day at the pool, this WorldMark may be exactly what you're looking for. read more

Booked a reservation in March to stay here because we had friends coming from SoCal for the weekend. When we went to check in we were Told our reservation had been canceled because we booked through a third party. They couldn't tell me when my reservation had been cancelled just blamed the third party for not notifying us. When we called the party they stated they had never been notified and went as far as to out that in writing to me. They were kind enough to find us a room, although not to the standard we were expecting. When asked how they determined who got cancelled, or when they did. I brought up the fact that people come to this area to relax and enjoy the wine country. So now I've been drink all day, not drunk but have alcohol in my system, I'm 2 hours away from home, and still no accountability. Is this the way anyone should be treated. Did you cancel my reservation because someone was willing to pay money. As a retired 69 year old Marine, my expectation is that a commitment is to honored, clearly World Mark doesn't have the same expectation. read more

This is a beautiful location in Windsor and it's located next to a golf course. Across the street are vineyards, old barns, and even ponies and a few chickens. There is plenty to do for the kids. On site, you have shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, badminton, a playground, billiards, and of course--the hot tubs and pools. WorldMark doesn't disappoint. I probably would have given them a 5 but for this ridiculous policy of charging $250 to your credit card for "incidentals". When I checked in, even though the stay was prepaid on Airbnb, they said they needed to charge $250 to my credit card. this essentially means they don't trust their guests. to add insult to injury, I just called them today (over 24 hours after I checked out and left an undamaged room) and asked how long it would be before my card would be credited and they said 3-5 business days. Seriously! this is completely ridiculous. Basically worldmark has the cash flow benefit of every guest's $250 for 5 days. read more

Hmmm... I wouldn't be critical of this place if they weren't so aggressive in selling you on its greatness. It's comfy. I love the outdoor space, with grills and volleyball. Rooms are okay. (Sports court is useless with plastic surface and 9-ft hoops.) Still, something unsatisfying resonates. I can't decide if it's over-rated or over-priced. I think it's too much sales. Despite maintenance fees, only one of the resort's four hot tubs was operational. The fitness center features a well maintained, functional universal machine out of the 1980s. If they wanna sell, sell, sell, it's time to keep things like hot tubs in working order, expand the fitness center and do something useful with the sports court. read more

I cannot say enough good about how wonderfully the Worldmark Windsor handled a reunion that I arranged for a group of professional colleagues who gathered there for 2+ days to celebrate 50 years of friendship. I reserved 8 units, and they managed to somehow get all of our units of varying sizes very close to each other in the same building. Each guest received personalized reunion welcome gifts and excellent service. None of my guests had ever been to a Worldmark before, and they were impressed with the size and quality of the units, and the way they were treated by staff. Management went out of their way to get a couple of our units ready early due to the fact that I was hosting a reception for the whole group that needed to start shortly after check in time. They lent us some folding tables and chairs so that my guests could all sit together for meals and conversation and reminiscing for hours in my unit over two wonderful days and nights. We had one dinner at Charlie's at the adjacent Golf Club, and their new chef did a wonderful job. They set us up on the shaded patio, and the sunset over the small pond was stunning, and made for a perfect setting for our farewell dinner. Beautiful resort. We were in the 3 bedroom suite. Plenty of space and loved to have our own grill on the balcony. Resort was beautiful. There are two pools with numerous amenities. This resort is located by a golf course. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Also offers several deals for wine tasting, nearby restaurants and discounts at the golf course across the street. We played golf and the course was amazing at sunset. We've been to several worldmarks and this location has the best offer we have seen if you are able to attend their presentation. I decline the presentations every time but we would have went to this one if we had time. read more

I am happy and satisfied being a time share owner with Worldmark. At this particular location up highway 101, this place is golden as far as going to tours and places up and down Napa, Sonoma, Russian River Valley, and other wineries near the north coast. We came here for a "bodega / bodega bay weekend to sample some awesome oysters. I/we have been here maybe 4x in the past with family. I remember celebrating thanksgiving here when my father in law was still alive. We have a pretty large family and knowing Worldmark, they have variety or choices of rooms to accommodate number of people. This weekend it's just me and my wife and we stayed in a beautiful large studio. It was very relaxing. I don't regret being an owner for our time share. read more

We had booked, weeks in advance, a 2 bed/2 bath with 4 separate beds for a group of women in their 50s. Third party booking site would only offer us a 2 queen hotel room as a replacement...because middle aged women love to share beds and bathrooms with their friends? We had several reservations planned around this location, some that couldn't be cancelled. Had to pay over $2000 extra to get similar accommodations on short notice. First time staying at this location. First night here. The reservation is under a family members name, whom we are with. I know a lot of people don't smoke, I do and considering this is a timeshare that we own (paid off) the fact that I can't use the balcony is ridiculous. It's your right to not smoke, it's mine to smoke. Your luggage trolleys have flat tires and make it next to impossible to use. Your furniture is broken, your plumbing is horrendously loud as is your heater/AC units. When it comes to a timeshare, it's touted as home away from home. Yet, you restrict us from certain amenities. Would never recommend staying here and would never recommend buying their timeshare as it is a ripoff and their properties have seriously gone down in quality. read more

I have stayed at enough WorldMark resorts and I got to say this is one of the nicest ones that I have visited. I came here to visit our friends from out of town that are visiting and I was impressed with how beautiful this one is, if I had to compare I would probably compare this one to the Angels Camp WorldMark Resort the only thing missing is the movie night by the pool. Premises are very clean as well as the suites, the pool is amazing and that's not to mention the amazing views. It has two big pools and three hot tubs that I could see. Environment seems pretty quiet and I learned that WorldMark provides a list of winery's that offer complementary flight tastings to their guests as well as winery's that come to do tastings on site, that their has my attention. I recommend that anyone that wants the Sonoma county experience to stay at this Resort.. hands down to this location:) read more

I've stayed here multiple times and I love it. Staying in a 1-bedroom 1st flr even when I leave hubby at home (work-cation). Full kitchen, good a/c, patio is covered by 2nd floor balcony (in case it rains) and has its own gas BBQ. I sit on the patio when I'm there, so comfortable. WIFI is extra, so I tether my laptop to my mobile, and have to leave my mobile by the sliding door or a window to get internet service. Guess the walls are very thick construction. read more
