The first time okay maybe they over booked, but to be cancelled on again for the labor day holiday weekend was not acceptable. At this point these cancellation seem very racist as they mainly accommodate white people! Our kids are sad once again that we don't have a comfortable place to enjoy the holiday weekend which led to this review! Great location.. very nice family friendly resort, they have everything you need, pools are amazing.. lots of stuff to do with kids, spacious rooms, equipped with everything you need.. the only issue we had , master bedroom bathroom ceiling starter leaking and dripping at night because ppl upstairs were taking a bath and obviously something happened... didn't sleep all night because I had to put a bucket every hour for the water.. and it was at night so I couldnt get a hold of everyone, in the morning maintenance came but they couldn't fix the isssue all they said they will talk to the ppl upstairs not to take a bath:( unfortunately the same thing happened the next night.. anyway we left the next morning without addressing the issue.. I hope they will fix it .. other than that it was a good stay!! read more

We just stayed here at the end of July for a bachelorette wine-tasting weekend with two 2-bedroom rooms and it was amazing! The rooms were large enough for 3 people to fit very comfortably and the patio was a nice spot to hang out. The pool and hot tubs were also fun to spend time at and the grounds are really pretty. Everyone was really nice and the customer service was good. I wasn't sure what to expect but overall, we had a great experience. The only complaint would have been that parking at night there were usually no spots, so we ended up parking on the street. read more

The service fell extremely short this past weekend. I made my reservation 9 months in advance via an owner on vrbo - as did most guests since we were all here for an Ironman event we signed up for last year. When I arrived at 4PM for check-in, at least 5 rooms were not ready despite the Resort having ample notice. Other guests had transportation and were able to leave. I did not, so I was stuck waiting in the lobby. The guest services did not offer to comp anything for the inconvenience - yet they foisted me on their sales rep instead. Thanks - all I want is a shower and to lie down and you offer me a pushy sales guy?! When I asked what the Resort was doing for the inconvenience, they replied, "Well, you have free wireless already." Whoop dee do!! That was very disappointing. I had to speak to the Manager after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and at least she offered a bottle of wine. The fact that I had to escalate it myself was poor form on the Resort's part. The staff should have been proactive respecting the inconvenience they had caused their guests. It's hospitality for Chrissakes! I had been up since 3AM EST for a 6AM flight from NY and this situation was not ideal and really set the trip off on the bad foot. The condo itself was nice - HUGE living room with a murphy bed, patio with a BBQ grill and full kitchen. However, the walls are VERY thin and you can hear everything. It sounded like gremlins were running a marathon every night. When my family arrived, they did enjoy the facilities though (pool, playground, DVD selection) since the day of the event, the roads are very congested. It is a convenient place for the Vineman Half and Full Ironman races - it just needs a huge upgrade on customer service. Hence, the 2 stars. Shame because I would have given it 4-5 stars if they had better service at check in. read more

We had a 3 night reservation because our niece was graduating and needed a place to stay. The overall check in process was great but the parking drove us nuts. We had to find a place at night to park, on the side of the street where our Timeshare is because there is no places to park! Is everyone and their friends attending the lot, or are they oversold on units or parking? Please keep this in mind when going here. You will have a hard time parking too! At least on Saturday we got luckier. The rooms looked nice and clean though. The A/C could have worked a little better in our room since it seemed to stay at a common temp throughout the day. A bonus though if you look on your GPS, you will easily find places to shop and eat, all throughout Highway 101. Also the privacy of the room was a concern. The outdoor areas seem to have a backyard patio which is what our room had. Well , there were so many windows that faced the outside and open in the area where the sidewalks are so I wondered where the privacy was in case you wanted to have your windows open, I mean you don't want anyone to know what you're doing when you are in your room, right? Too close to the sidewalk so... We had the blinds closed the whole time. Kind of liked Angels Camp Better, though. I just happened to run into this on Yelp. The Hunny and I have stayed here twice now, so why not. The good news is that the Windsor WorldMark is indeed a nice place to stay. Large complex, lots of rooms, nice pool. And so clean! It's not a hotel, each unit has the amenities needed to live here for a while (kitchen). To give an idea of the size, we got a one-bedroom unit with friends who were WorldMark members, and we got a very comfortable hideabed couch and our preschool girl slept on the other comfy couch, while the friends got their commodious bed - and it didn't feel crammed. So it offers more than the same ol' same ol' when you're staying in the area. The bad news: location, location, location. Pretty good if you want to explore Sonoma Valley and take a side trip to Bodega Bay. The problem is that it is not within walking distance of anything. The WorldMark is the ONLY complex of buildings in the immediate area, feels like a resort in the middle of a cow pasture. You'll need to drive for more than a few minutes to get to a restaurant, store, park, winery, anything. Windsor is the closest town, but it's not exactly a tourist destination. The world famous Napa Valley is one valley to the east, which means driving for a while. Both times we went, we did not attend a sales presentation. But WorldMark is infamous for their hard sell for their timeshare program. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Overall, this WorldMark is pretty good, and so relaxing if you just need to chill. Stayed here for a night last week on our road trip. Beautiful hotel with well kept grounds and free parking. Very nice large heated pool and hot tub. They have a nice game room/lounge with pool tables And foosball, etc. the gym has treadmills, bikes, and cable machine. Our room had a fireplace, patio, and full kitchen. Two bedroom two bath. Very cute, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would certainly stay here again. read more

My baby and I stopped on our road trip back from the Pacific Northwest. This is the 7th WorldMark we have stayed in the last year and I have to say this is one of the biggest and nicest one we have been to. We were there for only a night and will have to come back for a longer stay. I got an one bedroom and was surprised how big/spacious the living and kitchen. The whole resort looked updated, clean and well decorated. I like the high ceilings and the space. The trees surrounding the area was beautiful and I was told the summer would be gorgeous. It has been almost a decade since I have been in Napa Valley and it is beautiful as I remembered with the rolling hills. Looking forward to coming back and spending more time here. I did attend the updated owner's breakfast with the sale pitch. First place that had a personal chef making our breakfast. It was tasty; sale time was friendly...I didn't buy anything. read more

Great location at the end of the main drag. The rooms are nice and pretty well maintained. The only thing on the grounds is a pretty small swimming pool, but the jacuzzis are plentiful. Also the lobby features some table games and coffee in the morning. Staff were friendly and responsive. Almost a 5, just a few minor issues like tight parking, a view into the parking lot, and the cleaning was not really up to a high standard (drawers left open, a bottle of shave cream on the floor next to the bed). But overall it's a pretty nice place in a cool town! read more

For this trip/visit 2 stars. Check-in front desk was great. Beside the free breakfast push or "Update on our Ownership" talk they want you do. I was in the area to be with my nieces for the day and instead of driving home on Sunday night I decided to stay in our Timeshare and take the drive through Napa in the morning on the way home. But I left at 11 PM same day as check-in due to the gnats that were in unit. I first noticed them in the living room area, then later I noticed a few on the mirror in the master bathroom - killed most of the ones I could see. After a while I went to turn down the bed and saw dead bugs on top of the blanket and pillow. Looked back at the mirror and there were more, I even pressed the mirror and they were BEHIND the mirror, more flew out. I called the front desk and Lisa said she could call maintenance. After she talked to maintenance their suggestion was to spray the bugs but "because it was night time, the bugs should calm down". I said no, because I do not want to sleep in the smell of the fumes from the spray. So my thought was that I just would close the door and sleep in the 2nd TWIN bed bedroom and use the 2nd bathroom. The beds also had dead bugs on top of the blankets. Since it was late I figured I would sleep in the living room and "deal" the bugs in the 2nd bathroom as well. But the longer I was there I felt uncomfortable and felt like the bugs were on me. Plus, the idea of sleeping on a couch was not ideal. I left cancelling my plans. I was extremely disappointed, never have I left in the middle of the night to drive 1 hour and 40 minutes back home. I did leave the feedback with WM. read more

WorldMark Windsor has terrible management practices. After booking a reservation 5 weeks in advance, 2 days before the reservation they cancelled it. I already purchased flights, had dining and wine tasting reservations, some reservations pre-paid and not refundable. I called them to ask why they cancelled, they stated that they overbooked. I asked if there was any way they could help me. They told me to work with a 3rd party travel site. They would not assist at all. They just kept saying sorry for the inconvenience. I am held accountable to fix problems for clients. If my company makes a mistake, they rectify it. We would never leave the customer high and dry like that. Shame on Worldmark Windsor! read more

For all WM owners this is your usual condo. Didn't like the lie "not a WM with Sales Office", free breakfast with no presentation. My husband signed up and of course it was one of those "owner orientation" with try to sell you more credits. Took hours to get their electric car charger to work - front office was friendly, slow, ignorant, simply clueless regarding stations on the charging stations on their site! (They did get it fixed next day - circuit breaker needed resetting). Frustrated that once finally working someone with NON-electric car parked in EV parking space. This location is very popular - always booked and parking lot full. They need to expand in CA in general. read more

Just stayed here over the Memorial Day holiday in 2022. The place was nice, lots of fun things to do with the kids. 5 out of 5. However, when I left, I accidentally left the power supply to my CPAP machine, which is an important piece of medical equipment. I realized it that night when I was unpacking, and immediately called Worldmark. I know exactly where it was, next to the bed, still plugged in to the outlet. I spoke to Ray. He said that it hadn't been reported, but that he would put in the paperwork for a lost item, he would speak to the housekeeper, and that I should call back the next day. The next day I spoke to Heidi. She asked if someone had filled out the "lost item" paperwork, and I told her that Ray had done that. She wasn't able to locate the item, and said that she even called the room, but they were unable to locate it. She said that she would speak to the housekeeper, and that they would call if they found it. I called back a few days later and spoke to Elliot. He wasn't able to locate any lost item paperwork, and was also unable to locate my reservation information. He filled out the lost item paperwork, and he said that he would go right to the room that minute, as no one was there, and he would call me right back. About 45 minutes later, I called him, as I hadn't heard anything. He said he couldn't find it, but he would speak to the housekeeper. Several days later, still hadn't heard back from anyone about whether or not the housekeeper had any input, I called back again and spoke to Marvin. Marvin said that he would go check the missing items for that day (Nov. 13) in the place that they store the lost items, and check in with the housekeeper. He said that he would call right back. About 4 hours later, I called again, and spoke to Marvin again. He put me on hold to "speak to the housekeeper." When he got back on, he said that they hadn't found anything, but he could check in with the housekeeper from that day... I am not as frustrated with them for losing my item (I lost it in the first place), but rather the runaround. So many times I was told that they would "check in with the housekeeper", and to call back later, but no one actually ever seemed to have done that. It would have been easy for them to just say, you've got a lost item ticket here, the housekeeper didn't see it, we'll let you know if we find it. Instead, their organization system for missing items definitely needs some work! Either the housekeeping service just threw it away, or it is still there, or it's lost in the system somewhere... read more

Sometimes it's great to just get away for the weekend. So anytime, I decide I need a "staycation". I check out the availability at my Timeshares. With luck at the last minute they had an opening for this resort. This resort was just newly renovated. The décor aspect is quite nice. The comfort level of the couch is low, but the bed makes up for it. I love "condo style" resorts, because we get to cook in the facility. Each room is equipped with a full kitchen. They provide all the cooking appliance (i.e. pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, dish soap, coffee/tea pots, and even small individual spice packets). If you get a one bedroom or more. There is a murphy bed in the living room. If you get a studio then you sleep on the murphy bed. The nice thing about the bed is that it's not a pull out mattress from a couch. It's actually a very comfortable bed. They also provide a DVD player if you like to watch some movies *hint hint*. If you pack light, no problem use their washer and dryer, which includes complimentary laundry detergent. Overall the outside of the facility is well managed with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi outside. Also an entertainment "ping pong" area and gym inside. This is probably one of my Top 5 favorite places to go. Keep in mind there are not a lot of restaurants near this place. My suggestion is grab something to eat in Petaluma or Santa Rosa prior to coming here. read more

Excellent Hotel Facility For When I Conduct Training in Marin / Sonoma County Areas SITREP Rohnert Park is the location of one of my Regional Offices that I have training jurisdiction over. So when I am up in this part of Wine Country, the WorldMark Windsor is my go-to stop for my hoteling needs. SETUP Literally just minutes away from so many fantastic stops when it comes to wineries, and cheese farms, and beautiful scenery for me to take pictures of for the shutterbug in me, it's VERY easy for me to distract myself on my OFF-work hours when I am not conducting training at our regional office. ROOMS The rooms are spacious, there is a variety of configuations from 1-3 bedrooms (I get the 1 or 2 bedroom in this Wyndham-Worldmark location), the units come with fireplaces, and there are super amenities on campus, such as a work out room and a pool. The units themselves provide full kitchen amenities, which is important because of the next point.... IMMEDIATE VICINITY Unfortunately, if you are looking for a dynamic cosmopolitan community in the the immediate area, there are not a lot of options for restaurants, or for options that stay open past 11pm / Midnight. This hotel is really best an "escape" in itself. FREE WIFI (at this Wyndham location - not all have Free) Has it. I love it. THE LOWDOWN A excellent hotel option for both the work-traveler and pleasure-tourist in wine country. read more

The Wydom Resort in Windsor sick completely, check in was bad I paid $459 for a Friday April 5, thru 9th then they wanted a 250 other deposit. The coffee was horrible the place was dirty the staff was horrible. The vending machine did not work correctly the bling long hairs gal I think Tiffany was horrible. I barely got checked in then some other guy grabbed me for another $259 to buy in and a free breakfast continental at that. I could have a descent breakfast for that. I am tired I had 2 small children with me I am not looking for a Flippen sales put h from another fast talking moron I wish I never for the weekend for $450 for what. The tv channels sucked nothing to watch coffee sucked and service sucked. I want a full refund and my $250 on my other credit card before ai leave I will not wait 7 days that is bullshit. There is nothing to do around here to do for kids very bare necessities, blankets and floors were not clean. I want a full refund I will be contacting corporates the city my local cancel people. I would not recoment a pack of dogs to stay here. Plus the maid did not even clean a d refresh our room your hotel sucks. read more

Gayle's Sister and her Husband own a timeshare through WorldMark. They have used their membership well and have gone to a lot of nice places for not a lot of money. In fact, Gayle's first reaction when we were invited into the Weekend Windsor Condo was why we shouldn't be doing the same thing. That later turned into a broader conversation about mutual Family travel, including the possibility of an Italian/Croatian/Greek Cruise next Summer. Gayle's Sister reserved a 3 Bedroom Condo and we were both impressed with space, comfort , amenities, upkeep, and friendly staff service. We had a great time hanging out on the Deck, enjoying snacks together inside, playing a little shuffleboard, grilling some chicken, and soaking in the hot tub down below, and staying over. Plus we were only a short drive from lots of convenient Wine Country or Russian River venues. Best of all, it was a great as a Family to catch up, spend some quality time together, and plan for the next time. read more

Stayed at several WorldMarks, and this was the absolute friendliest and quietest!!! Granted that it's a ways from everything, it's still a nice little getaway. This is one of the newer WMs, and it definitely showed. Our studio was adequate enough for our stay as we barely were in the room. The front staff was incredible conveying all the deals and events going on in the area. We got some free tastings to KJ (and other wineries) for being their guests. I give this 4 1/2 really. This resort was very clean and lots of attention to detail. Nowadays I take disinfectant cloths and spray the room when I travel. I use it on everything hands may have touched before us. It's a good way to see how clean the unit is. Ours was very clean I got very little dust or dirt on my cloth after cleaning everything! The carpet could be replaced. There were pool restrictions but they were lifted half way through our stay.( Covid) My only minor complaint was the RCI booking called this as being in or near Sonoma. It's not that close and seemed to be 30 miles from Napa. We were ok with the location but others might expect to go wine tasting just down the street. Then my other issue was with the DOGS! I read dogs are not allowed with the exception of " service dogs". These were not service dogs! They were not obedient, they were not leashed and they barked at airplanes going over! My minimal experience with service dogs is they do none of the above. Thankfully when they were brought to the pool and allowed to run and play, an employee asked that they be removed. Thus they were put back in the unit. Perhaps there should be a fine or charge for those who break the pet rule. We had little encounters with employees but the few we had including at check in was very good. This is a great place for families to enjoy. Two pools at least, several hot tubs, yard games, arcade, movie rental, etc. I also appreciated employees wearing masks. It showed management cares for employees and guests. Thank you! read more

THAT'S THE POINT OF THOSE BREAKFAST, DUMB ASS! I've stayed at this resort 3 times as a guest of an owner. I make it clear each time I'm not interested and already have a schedule planned. I don't need their map or restaurant recommendations since, HELLO! That's what yelp is for. I have never gotten a rude or overly pushy salesperson. It's their job to sale. You can politely decline. The pool areas are great & my kids enjoy the Rec room. When checking in you get one free movie rental which is nice. The room are spacious. The 2 bedroom units on the inner sides are larger than 2 bedroom units on the outer side of the building. To the complainers who need the free breakfast & $1 billiards is apparently breaking your bank - suck it losers! read more

But it is wine county after all . The resort is clean well kept and family friendly. We love the little town of Windsor and spent most of our time in Sonoma central . Went to Breathless Winery for bubbly in Healdsburg as well as a couple of other small family winery's recommended at check in. A few years ago we stayed at this worldmark and were bullied so badly at the owners meeting we swore we would never attend another one . We were dismissed as not good enough because we would not buy up that day . We felt pushed into attending one this weekend at check in and asked to leave a deposit for it of 40 bucks not sure why or what this is for and couldn't get an explanation except we would get it back . With much hesitation attended and worked with Alex . He was very helpful and answered questions we had without a hard sell . We were not interested in upgrading this trip but if we were Alex definitely would have gotten our business . read more

We just stayed here this last weekend while wine tasting with 6 couples. I was wary of the timeshare but for our needs, it fit us just fine. We also stayed in a 2 bedroom condo with one king, 2 twins, a murphy bed and 2 bathrooms. It was less than $200 for 2 nights. What a bargain! We didn't use any of the amenities on the property but found it really easy to make it around to the Healdsburg wineries from this home base. read more

My cousins and I took a 2 hour drive from Sacramento to have a staycation here. So check in time is at 3pm and my cousins and I did not arrive till around 4. Our room was NOT ready so they told us to come back in an hour. An hour has past and we didn't receive a phone call so I gave them a ring. Our room was still not ready.... at this rate I'm like are you serious? And the reasoning for our room being so delayed was because the previous people had trashed it. Pftttty. Ok?!! Got a call around 7pm stating that our room is ready. The room was really really nice and very spacious. The master bedroom toilet was dirty... and I was just over it at that rate. You guys took 4 extra hours to have this room ready with a dirty toilet? Don't get me wrong, this property is really beautiful but the service needs some extra, EXTRA adjustments. I love vacationing here. A big plus is the farm right across the street, where you can often find the farmer and feed many of his bulls, goats and emus. This place is clean, pleasant, and the perfect weekend getaway outside SF. My family has been vacationing here for years.
