Food/Drinks: Came with my family to get some breakfast, and I really enjoyed the hot chocolate. The mugs were bigger then usual mugs and the portion of the drink was pretty big. I also got avocado toast with eggs, and the avocado was nice and fresh. I'm not the biggest fan of their home fries, but that's just personal preference. I overall did enjoy my meal, and I'd definitely come back when I come to visit again. Location: This location is modern, yet it has a really cool vintage aesthetic, especially when you walk in and see the bar area. It's very spacious and perfect for a breakfast day, spending time with the family, or even going on a solo brunch. Sitting at the bar would be ideal. If I'm not mistaken, this location did not have parking, and we did have to look for street parking. It was a tad tedious because it is a pretty busy street, Still, it is worth going to. We did end up finding parking within 15 minutes, and if you're OK with that, then that should not be an issue. This is a casual attire breakfast spot. Service: The service was great, and our server was very kind and was able to serve a group of six of us with no issues.

This would be a 3.5 if yelp allowed halves. We had a fine time at this spot. The food didn't blow us away. It was good, don't get me wrong, but kinda middle ground. There was definitely a bit of a wait, but we could tell the staff was trying to turn tables as quick as they could. The ambiance is good. The tables in the booths are a bit large so you do feel a little far from the person you're dining with.

We came here for brunch and were disappointed by the food. It was more like a greasy spoon diner but the prices were more in line with a nicer brunch spot. The most disappointing thing was that the bread was not great. I would definitely skip this spot while in town.

Strawberry Cannoli Griddles and Baklava Latte

Delicious baklava latte. Strawberry griddles were great. We came on a fall Saturday and waited an hour to be seated. They did lose our reservation so sat us outside. Food was delicious and service was prompt.

Popped into Beacon Bread Company on a Tuesday morning with a group of 4. We originally went in to grab and go some pastries and drinks but ended up getting seated. The difference in the ambiance between the store front and restaurant is literally night and day and I enjoyed the transition so much. I told my friends I'd love to return to the restaurant at night because the ambiance is so vibey and upscale. Our server was super nice and sweet and the playlist was a really good mix of early 2000s music. As a group we got the Hibiscus Arnold Palmer, an in house latte, a few pastries and some home fries. All delicious and refreshing. Super random but we're still raving over the hot sauce that we poured onto the home fries lol. It was too yummy! Must be homemade.

I stopped in today for a quick lunch. The place was quite big, lots of seating, and was pretty cute! I ended up getting French toast. It was pretty good. Not a huge menu and they had some odd things on it. Looking forward to going back and trying some of their freshly homemade desserts! Our waitress was really nice too!!

We got seated so quickly and all got different things from the menu - strawberry cannoli pancakes (so fluffy and good but got the sauce on the side, would've been too sweet on it), veggie breakfast burrito (my friend loved this and said it was one of the best ones she's had), tofu scramble (really small portion), grilled cheese (good but nothing special) and my valley omelette (soooo good and fresh, the flavor was perfect and felt healthy) we also loved their fries!

Cute place with great ambiance and decor. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and you can even get food to go. Service was great. I got the seasonal lemonade which was tasty and refreshing, and the grilled cheese with a side salad. All the food was incredibly tasty and the bread was to die for. Definitely a must try to eat here!

Cute cafe with full service in the back with really outstanding bread. Came here for a later lunch and sat in the back. The menu looked really great, like there was no bad option. The special was grilled cheese with tomato soup, which on a cold day was perfect. While no one in our party was drinking, the cocktail list looked great! Sticking with the Counter Culture coffee, I was so torn between a lighter lunch option and a breakfast burrito - but I know I will be back for one of those insanely good looking breakfast burritos. I went with the chipotle tuna wrap. Very satisfied with my side salad option and the greens were really fresh. My wrap was epic. I seriously thought about taking half home - look at the portions in the pics! Everyone's lunch was shareable but I ended up finishing my delightful lunch. The tuna salad was really tasty and wasn't too chipotle forward with lots of fresh veggies on the wrap. I got to try the tomato soup and grilled cheese and the special chicken sandwich. The bread really stood out on both of these sandwiches. They seriously know what they're doing with the bread and they made great bases for delicious sando combinations. Will definitely be back and loved my first experience here!

Loved the food here. Service was attentive and friendly. A real down home place that I will definitely be coming back to! We also had the bread pudding and a lemon pound cake with a citrus glaze. Devine!!!

Lox Bagel & Fries

A friend and I came here during our girls weekend, it was on a cute street with lots of little shops. I had a delicious lox bagel and a side of fries. Quick service and cute decor - nice booth seating.

Bert is the baker and chef and he knows his craft. I got a fruit cake ( very moist and rum filled ) and a gingerbread house and both were phenomenal. From what I saw spying at patrons plates the breakfast and lunch food look delicious and everyone seemed very satisfied with what they had. The menu is somewhat seasonal it seems. For example , I've heard Bert does a good chicken pot pie but not during the holidays bc he concentrates on foods for that time of year. Remember that this is a mom and pop kinda place. Only one person in front and Bert in the back so don't expect fast service. But that is why you should come here to rub elbows with the locals and just enjoy life and good food.

I go to this place for the first time looking for a decent bakery. I bought 4 pounds of cookies,…read morewhich were pretty good. I also bought a few rolls and a couple of pieces of Borracho, which were also good. Then I asked for a Pineapple Upside down cake that was in the case. All total it came to about $70,00. This was on Friday morning, June 19th. I came home, put the cake and the cookies in the refrigerator because I was going to take it to my brother's house the next day. The next day Saturday the 20th, I took a box of the cookies and the Pineapple cake to my brothers. I took the cake out of the box. Not only was it stale, but when my sister-in-law cut the cake, underside was covered in BLACK MOLD! Imagine my embarrassment for bringing stale moldy cake to give to brother and his family! I was thinking about going back with the cake and asking for a refund. But for the $10.00 I paid for it, it's not worth the aggravation. But that's the first and last time I go to Torino's. Apparently, they'll leave shit in the case to go stale and moldy and sell it to some sucker who walks into the place and buys it. That's no way to do business and maybe the health department should take a look at what's going on at Torino's bakery.
