Staff is very nice This was the first time I've ever seen it raucous but a bunch of Navy guys were finishing up some training and all heading back to their respective bases so I understand but wow that lobby was loud and boisterous at 2200on a Thursday night. The lady at the front desk was great; I think her name's Amber. The valets were very pleasant too. I luv this hotel's proximity and easy access to the beach. And luckily the cacophony didn't reach the 4th floor

What a wonderful hotel! Stayed here for New Year's, and we will be coming back. First, the not so…read moregreat, our room did not have a properly working AC unit - it was hot even with it being in the 40s at night. However, the hotel did come 3x to fix, each time checking in periodically, and eventually we got a portable AC unit that worked wonders. The entire staff to the manager was so pleasant and accommodating (no rooms, sold out, or they would have moved us). Now on to the good, upon walking in, there is a bar with pizza (late night too!) and tapas. Wowowowow! Hands down the BEST spicy tuna tacos I've ever had - they were delicious, jam-packed, flavorful, and tasted so fresh. My husband got the Magic Beach Pizza called Sunburnt Surfer, which was cheese, pepperoni, and hot honey, spectacular. There is a roof top restuarunt and bar, which we went up for NY, but it was wayyyyy to cold. Location is close to the beach, walkable to the pier, there is a publix conviently across the street (you can walk) as well as other bars and coffee shops. Breakfast is the morning was good, typical eggs, waffles, fruits, oatmeal, etc., staff is super friendly too!

The Voco was an ideal place to stay. It is a modern boutique hotel and about a 10 minute walk from downtown St. Augustine. Everyone we met on the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt ZERO ghostly spirits around and no bad juju, which is hard to find in St. Augustine, honestly. Everything was super clean and crisp-looking. It was quaint and quirky, but I enjoyed that about the hotel. It wasn't your run-of-the-mill hotel. The room came with a big TV, a very cozy bed, and a bigger-than-usual mini fridge, which was AMAZINGGG because we had made a pit stop at Buc-ee's for birthday treats and fun... I am obsessed with IHG's bathroom products. Their shampoo is incredible. And the room was pretty quiet- we didn't hear our neighbors. The bar area looked really tempting. We heard the breakfast there is realllllly good- unfortunately, we didn't have time to hang out at the bar or have breakfast. We did pop into the littleee convenience/shop area for a pint of ice cream which hit the spot after coming home from dinner. There is free covered parking below the hotel (and more parking available outside), which is super convenient. The gym looked nice. I love that they had laundry machines. The ice machine was always fully stocked and working. We had a great stay at Voco and really enjoyed our 3 days there. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

From the reviews I see it was a la quinta. The lobby was very well done, a spacious bar, nice seating for breakfast. The check in was 10/10 - the hospitality, the dining recommendations, the directions. Honestly we felt like we were staying at a B&B, that's how much care the staff had for getting us settled in. The room, on the other hand, was dated and had an odor but we let the staff know and we were switched out immediately to another. The location was great - we walked into town, over the Bridge and explored all night. We came back over the bridge to dine later on but as long as you have good walking shoes on, you're good to go!

Unfortunately the balcony rooms on the Bayfront were unavailable, so we booked a corner balcony room overlooking the historic district buildings and iconic streets filled with boutique stores. We were on the second floor overlooking Charlotte Street/Treasury Street. We could hear the live music from the Saints restaurant next door at night. Very little car noise at night. Public street parking maybe hard to find during busy times such as July 4th weekend and the lots were slightly expensive. Luckily most restaurant and local attractions were walkable so we left our car in the hotels, where the valet was also expensive but convenient. You can also buy a ticket to the Hop off and Hop on trolley right at the Hilton front desk, which takes you to the different tourist attractions that was slightly farther away. For July 4th, the hotel had a BBQ in front of the hotel. It was nicely done. The staff went above and beyond to make the event enjoyable for the guests. Tents were set up for outdoor seating, to eat grilled food, drink and listen to music. At night, you can see the fireworks right outside the hotel. Highly recommend and would definitely come back to this hotel when we visit St. Augustine again.

And we had one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts I have ever had..well prepared and fresh. The room rate is insane in June; one night with valet was close to $500. But it's a great location and property. It's wonderfully decorated during the holidays, too. But listen, it's an awkward layout (like much of St Augustine) and now that I travel with an elderly parent, I tend to notice these things. There are ADA rooms but this property consists of different buildings, walk ways, elevators, and hallways. Be prepared and call the hotel for information. They are great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We usually stay at Casa Monica, but they need to update the rooms there and we are so happy with this property now.

Our room was spacious with a nice king sized bed. Shower had room for two. We also had a bench on the deck outside of our room. I sat there and read the paper. I loved discovering a cat curled up there on our last day who was friendly and enjoying the morning sun. Breakfast was delicious with an egg bake and waffle our two days. With fresh fruit, bread board, juice, and coffee, there was more than enough to eat. They also hosted a social for the guests but the timing didn't work out for us to attend. It was quite the spread when we peaked in one night. We really enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the large porch. The first day it was raining but we were covered so not an issue. The second day it was sunny and clear. Beautiful views of the water. The staff was fantastic and took care of all of our needs. Great stay!
