This is one of the only few places that I will endure a long wait and cramped table spaces for. The pancakes they offer at Bea Bea's are to die for. Yes, I sound a bit dramatic but I am not kidding when I say I dream about their green tea pancakes. The sweetness, fluffiness, and texture is ultimate perfection. I come here mostly for the pancakes but their other meal options are great as well. They even offer Loco Moco! Please keep in mind that the tables are cramped. If that's the case, you can request to sit outside as well. Be sure to sign up on Yelp waitlist. Parking: very limited. If you live close, consider Uber or carpooling. read more

Came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and waited no more than 15 minutes. We ordered 2 over easy eggs with sausage and Smore's Pancakes. My son loved it along with his Camomile Tea. I had the Spy's Dewdrops with the Summer's Dream Pancakes and Orange Juice. They were delicious! 10 out of 10. Highly recommend! read more

I really wanted to love this place my eyes loved it! Presentation is good! Service is good! -pancakes : I felt deceived by the menu, I thought the chocolate fantasy pancakes were actually chocolate chip...but they are just toppings. The cornmeal pancakes were good! -the eggs and hashbrowns! BOMB AF! But we paid $80 for two people and we were bummed that's what was the most delicious. My bacon tasted stale, so I would ask for it crispy if you're reading this. Overall not terrible but I hope these tips help the next person read more

5 star no doubt!! Thanks to John who made our experience even better for he did a great service and gave good suggestions on the menu. If you're a breakfast lover, Bea Bea's is a MUST try. Loved the food here and I can see why it's so busy all the time. I got the egg-xactly, and wifey got the breakfast burrito, and we also decided to get the green tea pancakes. The pancakes were so soft and fluffy! We will be back to try more of their delicious food! read more

Family favorite breakfast spot. We love this spot for breakfast. Yes crowded but worth waiting . Everything here is delicious and satisfying. Only thing it's on the pricey side but it's really good . Tried the Thai Tea pancake... it was amazing!! That was probably the best thing there. Sweet potato fries were great!! I also tried a burger, and it was a bit dry, it needed sauce. The onion rings are nice and crunchy but I wish the batter had more flavor. I was disappointed with the crab cake eggs Benedict. I felt as though the crab cake part was flavorless and a little bit fishy... and the hollandaise sauce was also flavorless like an unsalted egg yolk. It definitely attracts the geriatric taste palate, but I'll definitely be back for the pancakes, waffles, etc. !! read more

We put my name on the Yelp waitlist and grabbed some coffee at Starbucks while waiting 35 minutes for our table. I've eaten here before and it's average. Bf is starving so we are waiting and waiting... Okay, finally sitting down to order and bf wants eggs. More after breakfast. Bf has eggs his way with avocado and schrooms plus hash brown. He ate it all because he was STARVING!! I had strawberries and blueberries since I wasn't hungry yet. It's a crazy busy place with an overwhelmingly large menu with almost too many choices. In my opinion, it's average but everyone else seems to enjoy it so 3 stars read more

Bea Bea's is a popular family owned breakfast and brunch spot in Burbank. I've been here a couple times and the food is just average to me. This place is always crowded on weekends so expect a minimum of a 30 minute wait during peak hours. The menu has a nice variety of breakfast items to choose from and the coffee is good. The service isn't the best and always feels rushed. Bea Bea's is located in a strip mall with a supermarket, so parking can get congested. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Wait - 5 stars. Busy place. Came here for brunch but we were seated within 10 minutes. Coffee - 3.5 stars. Latte and black coffee. Black was diner quality so nothing great. At 4.50 it is way overpriced. Latte was good and has a dash of cinnamon and honey. At 4.95 it is a better value for quality unless you're aiming for quantity, then go w black coffee. Service - 3.5 stars. Ordering was efficient but ran out of coffee without refills. No bueno. Main - 5 stars. Bea's omelette w house potatoes and chicken tequila sausage + Matcha pancakes. Omelette was well balanced and not too spicy. Pancakes were sweet but not overly so. Both were a hit! Price - 3 stars. Averaged around $15. A bit higher than expected. I'm actually pretty disappointed for the first time in a long time. Had a friend meet me here just for conversation and a small breakfast we could split while we caught up on business. Everything on this menu is nearly $20 to start, and since we both weren't too hungry, we figured a side and some juice would be enough. I can't do a lot of sugar right now, so most of their options were out for me, off top. On the menu photos provided on the QR code, the crab cakes looked decent. Thick and full, covered in what looks like a hollandaise sauce. I figured two would be enough for me and my friend to snack on. What the f I got, for $35 (plus 6 dollar lemonade and tip) were two flat, filler filled, average, dry crab cakes that were burnt on the underside. Smaller than the size of a kids fist. DRY. No hollandaise sauce, absolutely NOTHING like the photos, absolutely not worth the money I spent. I ended up eating a third of the 2 patties before figuring out they were burnt and just gave up and asked for the check. I'm trying to be grateful in the middle of a pandemic. But also people don't have time to spend money on subpar food that doesn't even match the photo description of what you're serving. I'm sure this place is great for waffles, crepes and other things, but this was just...beyond disappointing. Almost angry. Please do better. read more

With so many different options on the menu, Bea Bea's is hard to beat when picking a spot for brunch. It goes without saying that you're probably gonna have a bit of a wait coming here on the weekend, and we waited about 30 minutes for a table on Sunday morning. The one negative part to this experience was with the hostess, who told us how cute our dog was as we put our name in...only to give us a table inside and say she didn't know we had a dog. Our server wasn't super charismatic, either, but I'm not someone who cares about that too much. As for the food, everything was delicious with huge portions. I got the Thai tea pancakes, and I didn't really notice much Thai tea taste, but they were delectable, nonetheless. My family tried an omelette with steak and some French toast, and both were really yummy! Since the French toast is so thick, the bread wasn't as saturated as we would have wanted, but it's still a top notch French toast. Overall, I can see why this spot is on every list for brunch in LA/The Valley. Really, really good! read more

This place is BOMB! My daughter and I flew down to spend the weekend at Universal Studios and popped in here the morning we were heading out. The ratings were high so my expectations we too. It was a really windy day and we had to wait outside which stunk. You can get on the waitlist via Yelp which we did before leaving the Hotel but the line was still long. Finally our name was called and we followed the hostess inside. WOW! This place was hoppin! We were seated at the counter which I love because I can see the kitchen and all the yummy things coming out. The menu is large so take your time reading it over. It's REALLY hard to choose. We opted for: Mocha: The best I've ever had. Seriously THAT good. Must try. Side of Sausage: Standard breakfast sausage links. They were good. Pancakes with Banana and Coconut: Yaaaaaaas! These were fluffy and perfectly perfect. My daughter loved them. Hash Benedict: LOVE this. Hash was moist and flavorful and my eggs were perfectly runny. I didn't like the Potatoes that came of the side. Pretty sure they came from a frozen bag because each nugget was bland and flavorless. These literally were there serving no purpose other than to take up space. Over all we both really loved the food and the servie. So much so that I didn't deduct from the chilly windy wait or the boring potatoes. If you're in the area this is a place you need to stop at. read more

We had a lovely breakfast here today! We came early (around 8:30 or 9) and were seated immediately (there was a wait when we left). Great service all around! 4/5: Loco Moco - jasmine rice, a huge burger patty, fried eggs and gravy. The gravy was thick and good. The burger was cooked perfectly to medium. They topped it with cilantro (which I didn't love) but they were super accommodating and brought me some chopped green onion! 3/5: Blue Hawaiian - pancakes with bananas, blueberries and macadamia nuts. 4/5: Spam and Eggs - This is not on the menu, but they have Spam and they have eggs... My husband requested it and they happily obliged! Great service! They brought it with some crispy home fries. It needed some seasoning, but they have great salt/pepper grinders on the table! Place was alright...nothing too special (though their menu is pretty wide). Got there at 9AM and my party of 2 was seated right away which was nice. I ordered the breakfast meal of steak and eggs and a crepe. All were alright, crepe was very dry and steak was pretty fatty. Got the house coffee. My friend ordered the matcha pancakes which were huge--so I guess your buck is worth the meal considering the portions. Little cute place, very packed and busy. Would go back tbh. read more

This is my fave location of Bea Bea's usually come to this place twice a month before pandemic. Nothing to worry about the parking space. Fave spot with some visitors outside Cali. Their matcha pancake and french toast is incomparabLe as well as their coffee. Food portion is always big. Will definitely keep coming back. read more

Three words: green tea monster. Like most of the Yelpers on here, I came for those green tea pancakes! I did customize them and opted out the whipped cream and white chocolate chips, but it was just as tasty! I added a side of sausage, which was about $6 somethin' for four small standard pork links. (I would probably NOT get again.) Next time, I'll have to go for the Thai tea pancakes and again, opt out of the unnecessary whipped cream or whatever that doesn't appease my palate. I would also like to try one of their Benedicts or other savory breakfast entrees. The portions are huge, so come with an appetite or at least a plan to save some for later... Or finish everything and regret nothing :) Bea Bea's was bustling at 9AM, which I was surprised! I thought I was beating the crowd, but it beat me instead. However, since I was dining by myself, I only waited about five minutes which was due to hunting down the hostess. Can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu! read more

Normally, I would give it a 4/5. But my last encounter was made terrible by a waiter. As I was waiting for the check I noticed a bug in my icecubes, that I had been drinking all morning! When I discreetly brought it to his (he wore a black sleeve cover on his right arm) attention, his response was "what do you want me to do about it?!" With an attitude. So much for customer service?? I know these can be incidental and we can't control everything, but damn that was not the appropriate response to any customer who is just bringing it to his attention. I wasn't looking for any discount, it was a cordial heads up. They've lost a customer and I will no longer be recommending this location. CHECK YOUR ICECUBES! Because there is clearly 1 worker who doesn't give a shit. read more

This place is fantastic! The wait is a bit long but it's well worth the wait so it's best to come early! The moco loco is out of this world; the gravy is so tasty and the egg was cooked perfectly with the yolk bleeding down the rice and patty. I didn't realize there were fresh chiles under the egg which brought a nice spicy kick to the dish. Yum!! The strawberry and banana crepe was delicious with the perfect amount of Nutella. Ok....,... COULDNT wait to try this breakfast spot...... read so many reviews about how great this place was. I have seen the long lines outside waiting to get in. So yesterday which was a Friday we decided to forgo one of our usual great breakfast spots and try it. We got there no line ... great!! We had already decided if the line was long with a more than 15min we were leaving. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! 1. Just regular dining area nothing special ( no decor at all ) 2. Prices are way to high for the food (taste ) which is bland , (Portion) which is mall. 3. Coffee 2 servings ( neither were hot) 4. Food served was lukewarm at best ( not hot either ) 5. Very cold in there fans blowing on highest speed right over your already darn near just about cold food. 6. I have never had an omelette so flat EVER!!! ( shock ) 7. My husband's sausage were so small ( farmer jon FRM the .99cent store) 8. Home Potatoes: no seasoning, no onions, peppers nothing!!! ( Frozen for sure) I realized something was missing from my omelette and I asked for some cheddar cheese in a cup .... Did not ask or offer to melt it on my thinnest omelette ever. 9. Never brought water or even asked if we wanted any. $55.00 later don't believe the hype. We felt so ripped off.. ( hubby said something else I don't think I can type here. Nothing exceptional at all about this place not worth it at all. And oh my goodness you expect places that charge so much and in a nice area to have a clean bathroom ( Nope ) So I wrap this up by saying don't follow the crowd and don't go to Bea Beas. Stayed in a hotel close by and have been here a few times during our last few stays in burbank. This place has the most overwhelming menu and has great breakfast. So many pancake and waffle options it's hard to choose. Got a variety of options and enjoyed them all. Will def return when I'm in the area for breakfast again. read more

We were told by your waiter that vegans have ordered the potatoes, though they're typically prepared with butter. Are the vegan pancakes and tofu scramble prepared with butter or more vegan friendly oil options?

The vegan pancakes and tofu scramble don't use any type of animal butter, the oil is also vegan friendly.

No. They have a waitlist, first come first served. I would recommend getting there early as it's a pretty popular spot!

So the TAVERN BURGER with Impossible meat, a side green salad, and a lemonade needed no coin toss for me to be decisive. Ordering my meal at the bar was easy, there was no line, and service was quick. I loved that it was chill for a mid-week lunch hour. However, I imagine it gets busy later on in the afternoon and during a non-holiday week. Most of LA was already heading out to campsites for the 4th of July week from what it seemed. Beyond the burger, I really loved the fun decor. Inside, it felt like a Southern Hunting Lodge with its trophies hanging on the wall. Outdoors, it had my kind of charm with its lush greenery, flowering blooms, rustic decor, and picnic-style benches that felt like you're in someone's backyard. I'm sure the big tree in the center helps make the twinkle lights amazing at night. Plus, if you bring your furry friend (service dog) then the outdoor patio is a nice place to chill, and there's a bowl of fresh water just for them. As for drinks, there are plenty of beer choices on tap from Old Rasputin Stout to IPAs. Malbec and Opolo Zin looked enticing too. Since this is a Whiskey Tavern, there are lots of options ranging from low to high-end spirits to choose from. I recommend you take a peek at their menu beforehand to avoid deliberating for a while before choosing the one that speaks to you.

Where do I start from this place is an absolute mess. Went in to have their green tea pancakes, which are good I'll give them that but everything after that is horrible. Me and my daughter walk in and we are seated in a crowded area where you are essentially having breakfat with 4 other people, thats how close it is, packed like sardines would be a good metaphor for anyone who has not visited this place. Soon after someone comes to take our drink orders, then disappears. Finally my daughters HALF cup of coffee is brought, and at this point Im certain my cappuccino is being imported from somewhere. Then our server comes to take our order. Leaves. 15 minutes later my daughter notices our pancakes sitting under the heat lamps. (She works at a restaurant too, and has a keen eye for how things should be run) another maybe 5-7 minutes pass the pancakes are still sitting there, melting into nothingness. FINALLY after maybe a combined 35 minutes our eggs benedict and pancakes come out. We ask the food runner for two extra plates he says ok and leaves. We touch our food. COLD both very cold. At this time my daughter is watching our food runner, instead of bringing us plates he is running food. Ok...so who will bring us our plates. We finally wave someone down and tell them that the food is cold and we never got plates. They take it back. 10-15 minutes later we get out hot food finally, only this time a different food runner slides his sanitation towels straight through the potatoes... Clearly a food handlers violation god knows what kind of cross contamination is happening in the back. The thing about it is the restaurant wasn't that busy, and they have way more workers then actual patrons. The owner of this place would save a lot of labor cost is the workers were properly trainer, most of them are running around like headless chickens not doing anything, just trying to be busy. Carrying coffee containers that only came and refilled coffee once. This place is chaos and you don't even know who is the manager on duty, and after everything we weren't even offered some sort of compensation for being there for close to 2 hours. Now we have to find another place with good hygiene and green tea pancakes. What a shame that the staff is not properly trained and most of them are being paid to run around and look busy. read more

I've gone to Bea Bea's extensively over the last year, and even referred several friends there. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management or if everybody just got terrible all of the sudden; but in the last two months this place has gone incredibly down hill. The service has become slow and a little bit frustrating. Last time I was there our waiter got half of our drink orders wrong, after taking about 10 minutes to deliver them. Of course the service may have been slow (and confused) due to the fact that the entire staff was taking shots from a bottle of Jack Daniels behind the counter. They didn't even try to hide it, the bottle and several plastic cups were in plain view and the staff would occasionally walk by and take a swig. Also on the front counter were several plates of half-eaten food that the staff would regularly munch on. Don't get me wrong, I like the 'uncorporate, neighborhood place' attitude, but this was borderline disgusting, and the public drinking was just plain unprofessional. The food here is generally pretty good, specially the french toast. The quality here however is also beginning to slip I've noticed. Last two times I had a burger plate the fries were rushed and undercooked. A third time, I got a plate of fries that were pale and nearly raw. The burgers themselves are greatly underwhelming by the way, as is pretty much everything that isn't french toast. Honestly, I'm not a dick and I don't have a grudge against the place. I used to really enjoy Bea Bea's, but with the service slipping, the food quality suffering and them taking longer and longer to clean tables in the dining area (or the bar which I'm not sure they ever clear plates from unless a customer needs a spot); I just don't enjoy eating here anymore. My friend kept raving about Bea Bea's Green Tea Monster (to the point of being annoying already) so I decided to come here for brunch one day to try it. I scanned their pretty extensive menu and if only my heart wasn't set on getting the green tea pancakes, I would have had a hard time choosing what to order- they have different kinds of pancakes and they all sound delicious (S'mores, Oreos)! I plan on going back to try their other pancakes but I really loved their Green Tea Monster that I don't think I can come here without ordering it. It's soft, buttery, and sweet- one of the best pancakes ever! (Look at me raving and probably starting to get annoying). The green tea monster has white chocolate chips in it too and it's topped with green tea mascarpone and whipped cream. Pure heaven! You can even do without the syrup because it's that delicious. We also got one of the "eggs-xactly the way you want it" omelet. This one's really good and tasty too! It's build your own so you get to choose the 3 items that you want in your omelet (you can also get it scrambled or frittata). We did the corned beef + 3 item option and we chose bacon, sun dried tomatoes and cheddar cheese. It also comes with hashbrowns or fries. You can also have pastrami, steak, or chicken to go with your 3 items. We got here around 11 am and it was pretty packed but we still got seated immediately. The tables inside are pretty close together so it can be a little bit awkward in the beginning but you'll get used to it. It might be more difficult to seat larger groups though (6+). They also have outdoor seating available. Service was excellent. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Bea Bea's is located in a small shopping plaza. It's beside Togo's just in case you miss it. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot with a diverse menu, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. My friends and I visited on a Sunday morning, and although there was a bit of a wait (about 40-50 minutes), we quickly discovered why this place is so popular. They have a pretty extensive menu featuring a variety of breakfast dishes, pancakes, and more. Between the 4 of us, we each ordered a savory breakfast item and 2 pancakes to share. The main item that attracted my attention was their Black Sesame pancakes. They were incredibly fluffy and not overly sweet, with a subtle yet distinct black sesame flavor that wasn't overpowering. The only thing that would make it even better is I wish it had some sort of black sesame paste on top of it. We also tried the Pacific island pancakes, which were topped with bananas, pineapple, shaved coconut, and candied walnuts. While they were decent, they didn't quite match the level of the black sesame pancakes. For my dish, I tried the Kailani sandwich that comes with a fried runny egg, spam, and cheese on Hawaiian sweet bread with a side of home fries. It was a bit messy to eat with a fork and knife, but it was absolutely delicious. The combination of the salty spam and crispy potatoes was a real winner. There were a few other items on the menu that caught our eye, including the matcha and Thai tea pancakes and the loco moco, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough stomach space to try everything. 3.5 stars. They have a lot of different combinations to choose from and a lot of veggie options. We came on Sunday around 10AM and only waited about 20 minutes which was pretty good. FOOD Strawberry Dream French Toast (4 stars): I feel like it's always cheating when I rate something with nutella on it because nutella automatically makes anything good. Without the nutella the french toast was just regular. It was a great combo with the strawberries but I wanted a bit more nutella instead of having to spread it around to get it in every bite, so ask for extra if you love it as much as me! Mama Bea Omelet (3 stars): Pretty good but again nothing amazing. The tomatillo sauce on it was the thing that made it taste good. Side of hash browns (3 stars): Pretty standard hash browns. They give a lot. Strawberry Brownie Pancakes (3 stars): The pancakes itself were pretty good, had a sweet flavor to them. I just hate that it's called a brownie pancake when all they do is sprinkle a couple of brownie bits on top of regular pancakes. Good, but nothing special. I think they do this to a lot of their dishes. They all have cool names and combos but a lot of them just have the ingredients on top of their regular pancakes and french toast, not baked into the dish. It's not as good when it's just on top! Every time I am in town in Burbank we will always try to go to Bea Bea's! This is my favorite brunch place by far. They have the best fluffy Matcha Green Tea Pancakes in town. The Green Tea Monster is topped it with a mascarpone whipped cream and white chocolate chips and is super delicious. I love pairing it with their Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte with soy milk. Their Thai Tea Pancakes too is the next best thing. I loved their strong Thai Tea flavor and it's my daughter's favorite. My husband and brother also love coming here for normal eggs breakfast and their sandwich and salads as well. Please remember to get here early though because the wait is quite long but it's definitely worth the wait. We waited for about an hour one time but it's not bad because we found parking out front and just watched a show on Netflix while we waited. We can't wait to come back and try everything on their menu. We highly recommend them and can't wait to come back when we are in town next!!! Bea Bea's diner is great for breakfast or brunch! I usually choose the EGGS-XACTLY THE WAY YOU WANT IT option because you can choose a variety of yummy combinations for the ingredients and types of preparations (omelet, scrambled or frittata). The Xactly option also allows you to choose a few secondary options, including the "3 items plus", which offers a choice of chicken, pastrami, or corned beef. Once you choose which type of meat (or non-meat, if you prefer), you choose more ingredients, ranging from traditional ingredients like bacon to more eclectic ones like artichoke scallions. The diner gets packed during peak hours. So, if you come during those times, budget your time accordingly. The servers and staff are very nice and professional, and the diner itself is clean and well organized. The prices also are quite reasonable, particularly given the quality of the food, which is excellent. read more

Brought a client here based on a friend's recommendation. The menu is huge and everything we had tasted very fresh. The best thing we had were the house cappuccinos -- great spicy flavor!! The service was good, but they were VERY busy and I didn't like the way the servers seemed to "tag team" -- we had several people waiting on us during the course of the meal. Even though they were busy, the food came fairly quickly and was nice and hot. My biggest problem was how crowded it was -- not just busy, but I felt like there were too many people crammed into the space, like I was going to bump elbows with my neighbors. And it was very loud. Overall, I might try Bea Bea's again based on the quality of the food, but it's not a place to bring a client or a date if you plan on carrying on any sort of conversation. read more

The thai guy with short hair (her voice sounded like girl) is super rude, arrogant and has NO MANNER! I ordered my food for togo, went to Vons and came back in to check on my orders. They said it's not ready. That is totally fine. I have no problem waiting. But as I was walking away, she said something in Thai to another waiter. Which she does not know I understand. She was like "She just order, does she expected to be done soon? Bad Habit!" Wow ok I just came here to support. No worries! Won't be going back with that nasty attitude! Someone please teach her how to act with customers! Always snapping every human even with her own employees! Don't come in to work with that attitude! I love the selections here on the menu that I honestly could not decide to what to order! I ended up ordering one of their combos that included the pancakes. When the pancakes came, I thought it would be a smaller version but it was the size of my face! I ordered the green tea pancakes and it was so yummy! My friend ordered the black sesame pancakes and it was just as tasty! I'm just not a fan of the coconut shreds for the pancake. I would definitely come back to try their french toast and crepes next! This place is really busy and rightfully so. I visited for breakfast with a friend after it was recommended to me. I have not say, I am sorry I had not discovered it earlier. When we arrived it about about 930 am. There was a 30 minutes wait. No problem here. We were seated, offered drinks. I got a latte and it was just what I needed. I kept seeing plates pass me by. All the food looked so good that I had trouble deciding. I settled on the California Omelet. The food arrived promptly and we were both happy campers. The only thing I could see an improvement on it waiter attentiveness. We tried getting their attention a couple of times and it was difficult to flag them down. I've been here three times. The first time I had a really expensive crab cake benedict which was mreh, nothing too special. Second time I had their pancakes which were bomb and my mom had a waffle that she was just in love with so much that we came back later that week. I think the third time I got french toast. I'm a pretty big breakfast person and Bea Bea's makes it awesome. The problem is it is a little pricey but the portions for the pancakes and french toast are totally worth it. Wait staff is great you never had to wait long. But it does get pretty packed so come during the week not the weekend. But if you love breakfast this place is a must. read more

The menu in this place is so huge and i mean that literally. Its like getting two red robin menus that arent attached. They have a great variety and the food is pretty quick. Everything seems made from scratch which is amazing for having such a large menu. The most amazing part is the extensive gluten free options. Servers are nice but very busy. The only real down side is that its crazy crowded and with that brings a long wait and a loud dining experience. The food was good except for one meal: The waffles with a side of bacon were overcooked. We asked for crispy bacon and the bacon appeared to have been thrown into a deep fryer to get it extra crispy. This resulted in strips of extremely hard overly fried bacon. The waffles were overly cooked as well resulting in a burnt flavored taste left in your mouth. At the prices charged for waffles and bacon the items really needed to be on point. They need to put soft carpet pads on their chairs as well to cut down on the extreme noise inside the dining area. I stopped by Bea Bea for breakfast and had a mostly great experience. Plenty of parking and no wait, which is always a plus. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked nicely and tasted great. One downside was the hash browns -- I asked for extra crispy, but they came out soggy and not what I was expecting. The toast also felt a bit too soft, almost like it wasn't toasted enough. Another small letdown was their espresso machine being out of service. Would've loved a shot with my meal. When I first moved to the Burbank area, I would come here all the time and the food was great! Good service and quick. However, the past few times I've gone the service has left much to be desired and the food, mehh. I went yesterday and waited 40min in anticipation of a good meal. My eggs were runny, but I ordered over-hard, my sausage was cold and the pancakes were undercooked. I understand they were busy with lots of orders. A few months ago I was here several times a week. Sensational food, don't get me wrong... everything from the massive French toast (The O.G. is the best) to their veggie burgers to the Caprese sandwich is wonderful and mouthwateringly good BUT the stress of finding a parking space (watch out... some are only for ten minutes) and then waiting an eternity for a table just gets to be... well it's something one ends up factoring in after a while. As we were walking inside the restaurant I actually was picking a fight with my husband for no apparent reason... possibly because I was hungry but after I took my first bite, I forgot about the argument haha. I told him he needs to bring me here ALL THE TIME. I am yet to come back a 2nd time and I already anticipate loving it the 2nd time. We drove by one day hoping to have a 2nd try here and it was really busy so we didn't make the stop. I look forward to coming back and the next time around I will not hesitate to order a full size waffle order. The staff was really nice, our server was this young lady who was waiting on all the tables inside and some outside was on top of it. We also ordered the Chilaquiles à la Bandera -- crispy tortilla chips with half tossed in their green salsa and the other half in red salsa, topped with mozzarella, Mexican cream, Cotija cheese, and eggs. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. And because we needed something sweet, we added the Crunchy French Toast Sticks, drizzled with caramel and Lechera. We had to constantly rely on another server to step in and fix every single mistake she made just so we could eat our meal. What happened to Bea Bea's Glendale? The other location consistently delivers fantastic customer service, but this visit was a complete mess. I really hope management addresses this behavior, because no customer should be treated this way.
