Fried Chicken Wings with Flaming Feathers sauce.

BC's Chicken Coop gives you fried chicken with personality. You step inside a small spot with its own style, clean space, and walls that keep you entertained while your order cooks. One friendly lady runs the whole place, so you hear her working in the kitchen. If you walk in and do not see her, tap the ringer and she comes out with a smile. You get hot, crispy fried chicken with bold flavor and a menu that feels personal and fun to read. You support a local owner who puts effort into every plate. Parking stays easy and the visit feels relaxed. If you enjoy fried chicken with homestyle flavor, you should stop by and try it for yourself. If you pass on this homestyle fried chicken, your taste buds will file a formal complaint!

The best chicken wings by a long shot

The kind of place that people will talk nostalgically about going to back in the day. The best chicken wings by a long shot, they are really an expression of great taste in chicken wing form, and all the sauces are incredible. BC's gets recommend by the foodies in the area. Thanks, Chris!

My husband and I were craving chicken wings so we decided to check out BC's Chicken Coop. Based on several reviews and suggestions, I called ahead to place our order in for dine in. We ordered 2 chicken wing dinners with macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and seasoned chips. My husband got garlic parmesan on his wings and I got mines plain with the coop sauce on the side. I didn't care for the coop sauce, I'm a plain kind of gal. I know everyone loves it though, it tastes similar to BBQ sauce. The dinner comes with 8 wings, corn bread and a feed pan (side). The chicken wings were of a substantial size, not the tiny ones you get from bars. I like my chicken wings breaded and these were just what I like, the breading had flavor to it. The mac and cheese and mash potatoes were so good. The seasoned chips were okay. I wish the corn bread muffin was bigger, it was really tasty but tiny. Brandie, owner, was very attentive and nice. She was busy running the front end, cleaning, taking care of take out orders and orders in the back. I now get why everyone raves about BC Chicken Coop. It is on the pricey side, $16 per dinner, but the quality of the chicken wings are so good. I did check in on yelp and got a free feed pan. We will be back!

This is a small place with gold fashioned fried chicken. Nicely seasoned and very flavorful. Crunchy outside and moist inside. The corn bread was also good. The only reason this didn't get 5 star was I didn't care for the potatoes with gravy. I had a filling meal and the owner was super nice! I will return there soon!

Sweet little spot in Webster for fried chicken! We usually get take out and it's still burning hot and crispy when it get's to Fairport. My parents love their house made chips more than any other side, and I'm a fan of the cornbread muffins. Important note: their chicken pieces are flour battered and fried while the wings and chicken digits are breaded and fried. Chris and the team are doing great things over there at The Coop! Give them a try next time you're in the mood for fried chicken!

EAT HERE! STAT! The chicken was sooo tasty and very reasonable priced! I can't believe how darn good that breading was. It stayed crispy the entire time I transported it and even the leftovers the next day. There wasn't any fatty business going on underneath it either. Ordered the Large Clutch: 6 piece dinner and 2 large sides: 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 1 wing and 1 durum, 2 pieces of corn bread. Every single piece of chicken was moist and delicious! I did not do all of my homework in advance of coming here. I missed out on ordering the chips, which I highly recommend as my dearest Yelp Friends were kind enough to share with me. I am soooo glad they did! I wont be wasting my time with the mac-n-cheese or mashed potatoes again. A note about the chips, make sure to open the to- go container as soon as you get it to let out the steam to ensure your chips don't get soggy. But wither way, crispy or soggy, they still taste perfect with whatever that seasoning is. I've heard the coop sauce is excellent but did not have a chance to taste it, but I plan to! Lastly, there is street parking or, park across the street at the funeral home. Quick Overview: - Phone in your order in advance - 1-2 tables, so plan to take your order TO GO - Get the Chips and let the steam out! - The fried chicken is great! So get it, STAT! - Owners are super friendly - Street parking or park across the street at the funeral home Thoughts to Ponder: How do they get that breading so crispy? What's in the breading? Why are the chips so perfect tasting? Why do they have to be all the way in Webster?

Mac and Cheese, need I say more?

I got pulled over for this chicken. Totally worth it. But anyways, this tiny little stop is more than meets the eye! This crispy and savory chicken with well seasoned breading is so satisfying that it's well worth the trip to Main Street Webster from any distance. The homemade sides are delicious as well! I usually go for the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. If you're not dead-set on only eating chicken (as you should be here), give their ribs a go. With a rich, smokey and semi-sweet sauce they're tender and will fall right off the bone when you bite right into them... The mastication is almost magical :) Be forewarned, it will take a little bit more time to prep your food than other spots; this stuff is made to order, and I appreciate that. Be patient, or call ahead... Actually, maybe you should call ahead. They run out of items pretty quickly due to demand! As mentioned before, this place is really small so it's really can't accommodate larger parties. Best bet is is to do take out or bring it to the bars next door if they let you. Might as well grab a Guinness while you're at it!

Has all the classics and its own flair as well. Very ample menu, but I appreciate the fact that it's not pages and pages of things no one orders. Their selection tells me they sell what they have and, therefore, can expect fresh, high-quality food at a reasonable price. As a nod to the local food scene, we "started" with their version of a garbage plate. One dog and one burger. Was very good. Shared with my son as an appetizer. Was more fun than anything else. But it was tasty, not greasy for what it is. My son then ordered a pastrami Ruben. The portions are excellent. The marble rye and the fries clinically perfect. The pastrami was mid-level deli wog. Kind of a disappointment. I had a turkey club. The best I've had outside of NJ. Clearly house roasted turkey. Perfect toast to meat and veg ratio. Fresh. Delicious. My only knock is YOU DON'T put cheese on a club!!! I'll ask for no cheese next time. The next two points are really how I judge a diner... pickles and coleslaw. Pickles were good. But just good. The Cole slaw was very good. I was happy. Service exceeded my expectations. Really fantastic. Prices very reasonable. Excellent portions. Simply cannot wait to go again and try a burger. I bet they're amazing. But it will be hard not to get another turkey club. It was that good.

I have ordered two different omelettes on two different occasions now: an egg white with spinach and mushroom and a meat lovers. Both were quite overcooked and the meat lovers seemed like a thin sheet of egg that they filled with toppings later on like a crepe. Additionally the meat lovers side of rye toast was obviously burnt but still served to me, I just ate around it for a few bites and gave up. My husband ordered fish and chips the first time - I thought the batter was tasty and enjoyed it though I think the filleting of the actual fish could have been a lot cleaner. This item is the only reason my review is not a one star, I thought it tasted good. The second time he ordered clam chowder and a salad that had chicken, fruit, nuts. The salad was fine nothing wrong but not a stand out either it seemed similar to something I'd get as a salad kit from the store. The clam chowder though was awful, so thick and gelatinous it seemed like it was canned which is already a red flag but one of those canned soups that you're supposed to add water to and like they forgot to do that part. On top of being weirdly thick it was also cold you can tell they didn't heat it thoroughly whether that was in a microwave or not though I can't really tell. I truly don't understand the hype or reviews for this restaurant given we've tried multiple items and for the most part fell flat with the sole exception of the fried fish. I was disappointed given the expectation from other reviews and unfortunately we won't be back for a third try.
