I'm a regular at a few of the Pita Jungle in the Valley. This one I frequent most often as my…read moregirlfriend lives nearby. Anyhow I cannot even begin to praise the absolute feast that is the Spicy Chicken Wrap. So chock full of chicken, beans, vegetables and spicy sauce I get this every time. I'm sure their other dishes are good too. I wouldn't know. Get the spicy chicken wrap.

I'll be honest... I didn't expect to be this impressed by a franchise, but Pita Jungle absolutely…read moresurprised me in the best way. First off, the Park West location is EVERYTHING. I love this shopping center--fully outdoor, super cute, and just a whole vibe before you even step inside. It really elevates the entire experience. Inside? Huge, airy, and thoughtfully designed. The decor and branding feel clean and modern, and I loved that there are multiple seating options--open dining areas, quieter corners, and even semi-private spots if you want a more low-key convo. The menu is extensive in the best way. Not overwhelming, just packed with options. Everything leans fresh, light, and "feel-good," and I really appreciated how clearly everything is labeled (vegan vs vegetarian--they get it ). Tons of dishes can be modified too, which makes it super group-friendly. I went with the cauliflower tacos (Tuesday special)--$9.99 for three fully loaded tacos + a massive hibiscus berry iced tea (SO refreshing). And these tacos are not small--they're packed and super satisfying. Service was also a standout--friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. Our server even hooked us up with an extra tea to-go We asked for charred jalapeños on the side since the food isn't super spicy by default, and that was the perfect little upgrade. Is this the best taco I've ever had? No--LA food trucks still hold that crown. But for the area, this is a solid, reliable go-to that I can easily see becoming part of my regular rotation. Perfect spot if you're with a group and everyone has different dietary needs--vegan, vegetarian, or just trying to eat a little cleaner without sacrificing flavor. Bottom line: Great vibes, great options, great service. Zero complaints. I'll absolutely be back.

My first experience at Casa De Falafel was phenomenal. As I approached the counter, I was told by…read morethe kind and gracious gentleman my falafel experience would change after trying the one they offer... For a split second, I thought, "That's a good way to intrigue someone to buy and try..." but NO, he turns around for a mere moment with a sample and my eyes lit up, I finished my order "beef Pita," (of which was extremely flavorful, tender, and fresh... the pita had great consistency and it all disappeared in seconds) but sorry, I digress, there I was, grabbing the strawberry lemonade and walking towards the table when yet again, the kind man asked, "how is the lemonade?" To which I respond, "great!" He then proceeded to pull me an additional cup, "please, try the others as well, they're homemade!" A mango pineapple and a passion fruit were awaiting my pallet, and soon enough... they too, were gone. The falafel was absolutely incredible, crispy outside, soft and flavorful and not dry, that's the big one for me... the falafel was perfect... there was only one thing wrong, so I asked... "can I order four more!? and some baklava too" (to take home of course...) I did sneak a bite of the baklava though, again, so tasty, perfect amount of sweetness, not overly sticky, and the right size to end the meal. Casa De Falafel is one that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu... they will definitely be the only place that I go for a falafel craving... THANK YOU!

Usually LOVE this spot. Today was a letdown. Super…read moredisappointing. Treated some friends, hyped up how good this place was. We both ordered a chicken wrap; I got one, and they shared one. When we got our food, the wraps were TINY- we both requested "no tomatoes" (how I normally order), but the wraps came out like half the size. ABSOLUTE RIPOFF. I cannot justify paying as much money as I did for such a tiny wrap. I saved half and took a picture. In hindsight, I should've taken a photo of the tiny portion on the tray. It looked like a pressed egg roll. Food: delicious BUT OVERPRICED FOR THE TINY PORTION. Service: always friendly, but really guys? This wrap is embarrassing. Ambiance: chill. This must've been what I paid for- cuz the food was a child's portion. Conclusion: thank goodness I ordered some of everything- otherwise, we'd still be hungry. My friends enjoyed the flavors but were not impressed with the size of their wrap. Especially because they ripped off some of the extra wrap, which made it smaller. Doubt I'll be back unless they fix their portions. For real, I feel ripped off. Updated: decreasing from 5 stars to 2.

My husband and I decided to make the drive from the East Valley to try Pita Kitchen, and when we…read morearrived the place was packed -- usually a great sign. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We ordered and were asked if we were dining in or taking our food to go. We said dining in, but there were no open tables inside (around 12 total) and zero tables available outside. We ended up waiting in the back for a table to open while staff repeatedly walked around looking for our table number, never once asking if the order might be ours. After several minutes, someone finally asked if we were number 11. We were. Once seated, the decor was cute, but service was mediocre at best. The food was the biggest disappointment. It had been a while since we last visited, and it's definitely not the same. The rice was bland and flavorless, and the gyro meat tasted like frozen, reheated product -- very dry, with the main flavor being salt. Instead of the fresh-carved gyro meat you typically see on a vertical rotisserie at most Greek restaurants, the kitchen area was closed off, so there was no visible preparation or carving station. For nearly $50, the experience simply did not match the price. Between the disorganized service and underwhelming food, we won't be back. Next time, we'll stick to supporting East Valley Greek spots that offer better quality and value. I want to preface, this place used to be good. Not sure of ownership changed, but save yourself a trip and find something better and more affordable
