Such a small business gem! Happy to support this place not only because of their delicious food, but they have great prices and such sweet service! We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food for the price. The sweet lady at the front took her time explaining the menu to us and checked in regularly to make sure we were taken care of. Pita Wraps - 3 meat plate, comes with rice, pita, and side salad - Mediterranean Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

Super friendly staff and high quality meat! The pita tasted so fresh and was very soft. The gyro looked incredible and tasted even better (this was without veggies). The Tzatziki sauce was incredible. One star off because the inside of the restaurant was a bit lackluster, I wasn't a fan of the rice as they took basmati rice and seasoned vs rice pilaf, and it is on the pricier side. They also charge for extra sauces if needed. It is a hole in the wall vibe. Overall loved the gyro and would definitely go back for that! read more

Unacceptable quality and service - Long-time customer leaving To Management, I am writing to formally express my shock and disappointment regarding the order I received today. As you know, I have been a loyal client for years, consistently ordering the same $50 meal multiple times a week. I know exactly what this order looks like. Today, however, the portion size was frankly insulting--it contained barely 25% of the standard meat portion I have received for years. When I called to address this error, the employee acknowledged she knew my order but justified the lack of food by stating that "meat is expensive" and suggested I pay for extra protein. Let me be clear: I was not asking for "extra." I was asking for the standard portion I have paid for hundreds of times. Attempting to charge full price for a quarter of the product--and then dismissing a loyal customer's valid complaint--is bad business. Because of the quality decline and the complete lack of accountability from your staff, you have lost a frequent and loyal client today. read more

Not only is the food absolutely delicious here there's actually service from staff. There's a smile from the person behind the counter and an excellent customer service vibe. My only complaint is why aren't there more people inside eating at this restaurant? Everything was cooked to order but extremely quick. read more

Our granddaughter, daughter, and son in law were visiting for the holidays. After going to Dreamcatcher park nearby, we were ready to have some dinner at Pita Wraps. We had a side order of Falafel pieces (4), Chicken Gyro plate,Lamb Gyro plate,Falafel wrap ,and Chicken Gyro wrap. Plenty of good food for everyone. My only complaint is getting charged a service fee (3%) for using my credit card. More and more eateries , gas stations, etc. are passing the fees to the consumer. We are paying enough for the food, and goods we purchase. read more

Seems this location changed ownership. For some reason a lot of locals are unhappy with that change. I, however, am happy! I ate here a couple of times over the years but honestly, if I was craving a gyro I'd go way out of town to get one. Because this is an area that surprise is lacking in. No place in surprise has very good Mediterranean/ Greek food. That's all changed now! After hearing the complaints of other I decided to give it a try. Why not. I was craving a gyro and didn't have a whole lot of time. So glad I didn't listen to the nay-sayers who are afraid of change just because it's change. My gyro was fantastic! Just like the old days way before I ever landed in surprise. Perfectly cooked Kronos on the spit, great pita. And the best part? Their Tzatziki!! It was really, really good. Most places here it's all dill and/ or lemon. This place uses the right combination so that it tastes just like it's supposed to. A little less lettuce would make it better but otherwise? Fantastic read more

First time here and was pleased with the menu and the staff. We ordered to take away but could have easily stayed. Generous portion of meat in the gyros and very tasty. The Greek salad was basically iceberg lettuce a couple of slices of tomatoes and cucumbers a couple olives and feta. Still tasty with the dressing, extra tzatziki and pita. Will I order here again? Yes when I'm craving the gyros. read more

Great tasting pita wraps and plates. Our go to spot since it's near by. The wait time is a bit long but it's worth it (since it's hard to find locally), but just don't come when you are in a rush or extremely hungry and need to eat quickly. But they say good things come to those who wait, so be patient and enjoy some good food. read more

All I have to say is if you've never been here.. YOUR MISSING OUT! We've been coming here forever and just got back from there right now! The customer service is TOP NOTCH. It being family owned makes it even better! Portions are great. Price is great. WE LOVE PITA WRAPS! read more

Stumbled upon this place and it exceeded any and all expectations. The service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly, thorough, attentive and helpful. Feels like a family shop. Good prices for quantity and quality. I enjoyed the traditional gyro wrap and ate it there. I've never had a wrap with so much gyro meat! You may wait an extra minute for your food but it's worth it. The pita is perfect and it all came out really hot. read more

I asked for my order extra crispy on my gyro meat and the cashier took it on her own to only put well done!! That is not what I asked for. I asked for a refund!! They said it will take a while to return my money. The vinaigrette is a red wine vinegar!! I could have pour that crap on my self. I would not recommend this place. Btw it has an awful smell when entering inside. read more

Saturday evening around 5p. I was the only customer. I ordered a chicken gyro combo and pistachio baklava. The wrap came with French fries although the menu said the combo came with fries and rice or salad. When I asked for rice, the lady said it was fries only. The sandwich was good but not great. It fed the gyro itch I had lol. The establishment was clean and tidy. There was self serve fountain drinks with gender specific bathrooms. Those were clean also. The baklava was so good I ordered a piece to go for a late night sweet tooth. read more

Pita Wraps - Steak Platter - Mediterranean Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

Great little place, super well run! We came on a Tuesday afternoon so nobody else was here, but they should have been! Great food for a great value! Everything seemed super fresh and they make everything right in front of you. I ordered a chicken gyro wrap and fries and my husband got the gyro platter, both were excellent and had SO much food. The service was great! We got take out and it was super quick, the lady who took my order and served us was also super kind and personable! Very clean establishment and honestly great marketing and signage for a local place. I thought it had to be a chain based on how professional their website and menu looked, but nope. Just great people running this local business! Highly recommend and will be back:) read more

Portions sizes have MAJORLY decreased in size. Originally it was a great value. The pic w salad was the 1st time I went and got the Chicken Gyro platter as s. After that I get double rice and pay $4.25 for EXTRA chicken. The pic with the 2 platters in it shows TONS of chicken and a very FULL container of rice/chicken like the one w salad without the extra chicken but still a ton of meat. The last couple of times I've been here the portions of rice and chicken have decreased tremendously. This time I said something and had pics to prove in the past this SMALL portion of chicken isn't as much as the one w the salad that was just a regular portion. The manager (possibly the husband of Ash...the owner and sweetheart) was very dismissive and didn't care when I said I would go elsewhere from now on for my Gyro fix. These places keep popping up. He could have simply given me more chicken today and said moving forward this is what to be expected in portion sizes. Because for $21.66 for CHOPPED up chicken and rice I would expected more food. Then I could make adjustments to how i order in the future instead I won't go back and I will update any and all my reviews of this place. Customer service matters. read more

Food has gone down hill. Made us incredibly sick last night. May have been poor handling or expired food. I don't know what's happened to this place. read more

This place was a quick 2 mile detour from the 303 and we wanted something fast to eat. This was at the top of the list here for a quick bite in Surprise, AZ so we decided to try it out. **Disclaimer - if you don't want to eat at a place where the workers are not wearing masks, avoid this one. The people making the food and the cashier were not wearing masks** The place has a lot of options including gyros, bowls/plates, salads, and more. I had the Schawarma steak wrap with fries which was around $11. The gyro itself was filling and good but I felt like it was dry like it could use more Tzatziki sauce Overall I wouldn't say this is a bad place but it was just alright! read more

Some of the best gyros, not too seasoned or salty! Service is super fast! I was the only customer in there so may vary depending on how many customers there are, read more

My co workers and I come here about once a week to get our chicken shawarma fix. There's a combo plate that includes that, Tumeric rice, a Greek salad, and a fabulous piece of pita bread sliced up with a side of taziki for a reasonable price. The owner has our faces memorized and knows exactly what we order and expedites everything when we come in because he knows we are on our lunch break. With a tip, I'd probably still spend less than I do getting a combo lunch at Panera or a poke combo bowl at Tokyo Joe's, and I get soooo much food. The value is worth it to me. The desserts, tiramisu and baklava, look really good here so one of these days we will have to try them. We really enjoy coming here. I encourage you to come here too! It's easy to take food out too if needed! read more

If I could give this place a minus stars I would . Went there today and ordered a small Greek salad (8.00) for eight dollars you would expect a somewhat good salad not the case at all. It came in a styrofoam container the size that you would normally use for a small hamburger or a SIDE salad. It had 1 Greek olive, one slice of tomato cut in half a sprinkle of feta and lettuce that was bottom of the barrel, the dressing was disgusting ! This joke of a salad costs 8.00. What a complete ripoff. Will never waste my time or money at this place again. Now I know why the place was pretty empty at lunchtime on a Wednesday. Please people Don't waste your money! read more

Not a very good falafel pita. This one was as dry as the Sahara. They used the Tahiti sauce, but it just tasted and acted like peanut butter in your mouth. The falafel it self were not the worst, but should never be sliced. Also, the tomato slices were not ripe and not needed. Try again. read more

So I believe there is new ownership, my husband and I love coming to Pita wraps, but unfortunately I believe with the new owners the food is different and not up to quality like the old owners. The chicken is not flavorful, and the rice was very soggy mush. Also we love taziki sauce but holy cow. It is swimming in sauce. We did not ask for extra sauce btw. Not going back. read more

I got the chicken shawarma plate and it was okay. Not a lot of flavor to be honest and the taziki was bland to me. It was all just okay. Chicken shawarma is my favorite meal and I was hoping for a yummier bite but wouldn't be back for a second try. The guy at the counter was also kind of rushy and it threw me off when I was ordering. read more

We only ate here one time but I have to say it was fantastic! Saw some people giving negative comments but we are not locals so can't really say one way or the other if it is better these days or not. For us the food and service was great and worth a bookmark to come back and try more items. The chicken wrap was perfectly made with plenty of chicken, onions and this house sauce that is truly delicious. I found the service to be great. Yes we will be trying again when in the Surprise area. read more

I discovered this place when my husband started teaching in the area. I ordered the Gyro Salad and that's what I get everytime since! The salads are huge and their gyro meat is delicious. I also love the Greek Dressing they make. My husband likes the Gyro Pita wrap. The falafel is tasty, I have it in a salad. The fries are amazing as well. Everything tastes made from scratch. The couple that runs the restaurant are friendly abs sweet. I've been here countless times and they are always awesome and super nice. Each time the food is top notch. The restaurant is plain inside so if you're looking for ambiance you're not going to get it. For me the food is the most important thing and this place has it. read more

Ordered Pita Wraps for lunch today via Postmates and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge too, they definitely don't skimp out. Both the chicken and gyro meat were well seasoned and not dry. The to-go packaging was pleasant too as they put the salad dressing & tzatziki sauces separate. The food was fresh and I could tell it was made on demand. Will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

Stopped in for a late Saturday lunch with a friend and both of us had the chicken gyro pita. Cashier was very nice, warning us that a couple of items we were thinking about take slightly longer prep time. She also made sure that we wanted all the usual condiments on our food, and it was delivered to our table in just a few minutes--generous portions. They offer baklava for dessert--both pistachio and walnut varieties--and it was great. Nice, clean place with good ambience and easy parking. read more

Wow! First time there today and it was exactly what my craving wanted! My husband and i got the Gyro wrap with no tomato and large frys. Very clean inside as well! These are LARGE fries. We did not finish them there and ate them after. I would put a bit more salt on them but regardless, very good and were fresh! The gyro, they sure did make it worth the price! They were not picky on the meat and it was THICK. i loved it. Not too much ziti sauce, not too much lettuce. Just perfect! Highly recommend and Will go again!! read more
