Visited this place during my Peoria visit . I was craving for Mediterranean food and found this place nearby . Regarding food - Ordered Chicken shawarma pita which came with an option of either fries on the side or veggies. I took veggies . The taste was Ok . I have had better Mediterranean food before so I wasn't impressed by the taste as much . Price - I found it to be costly compared to other Mediterranean places I have tried where the food was also more delicious . Parking - it was easy as it's located in one of the shopping plaza . Wait time - I had to wait really long to get my food . It was a To Go order and I went with the assumption that I will order and the get my food in reasonable amount of time but they made me wait really really long and they didn't even tell me beforehand that the wait time was so long . A heads up would have been appreciated. I would have probably ended up not getting the food from here if I knew beforehand the amount of time they would make me wait . Lesson learned though - ask beforehand the wait time if your server doesn't tell themselves

The people who answer the phone are rude. When you ask them about the lunch special they tell you that you can look online... I was driving and she wasn't nice about answering my questions. No one was inside at all it was dead during lunch time! Ordered to go. Smallest scoop of hummus for $10. And the lunch special kabob was NOT worth $17 at all... so so small of a portion. The chicken pieces were just barely bigger than a quarter. Do NOT waste your money here as you won't be full!

While in town for a couple of days, we stopped in at the Greek Palace. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant was spacious. We started with the saganaki because who can resist sizzling hot cheese? It was good, but not as good as I hoped. We also had the hummus and chips. Our entrees came with soup, and it was pretty good, but we didn't want to fill up on the soup. The entrees came with a lot of food. Everything on my gyro plate was yummy. My son enjoyed his combo platter with beef and chicken shawarma. It also had beef kefta, and he liked it ok. Overall a good Greek meal.

Hummus appetizer sampler. Red pepper, original, and jalapeño.

Space was nicely decorated, spacious. Not too busy. Staff was attentive and nice. They were patient with my special needs son. Food was timely. We had the hummus sampler appetizer. Pita was hot and fresh and fluffy. Hummus was delicious. The jalapeño flavor surprised me. My boyfriend ordered some lemon soup he said was not the best only because the texture was very thin watery. All of the food came out in large portions. Very filling very delicious great flavors. The only thing I didn't completely like was the rice. I just felt like it could've had more flavor. Definitely going back here. I had enough leftovers for an entire meal.

George does a great job working the room and providing welcoming entertainment. Celebrating a special occasion? Don't be surprised if you hear the smashing of plates followed by a loud "OPA!" The owner George and his family have been in the restaurant business for decades and they truly have a passion for sharing authentic Greek dishes and cocktails. One of his sons served me and my wife. I inquired about their bourbons on the shelf and received an impromptu tasting of a few whiskeys and given a list of personal recommendations. They include menu mainstays like the mousaka as well routine specials like the souvlaki. The food is wonderful, based on fresh Mediterranean staples like lamb, feta, grape leaves and olive oil. But the service truly steals the show, time and time again!

Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We ordered and were asked if we were dining in or taking our food to go. We said dining in, but there were no open tables inside (around 12 total) and zero tables available outside. We ended up waiting in the back for a table to open while staff repeatedly walked around looking for our table number, never once asking if the order might be ours. After several minutes, someone finally asked if we were number 11. We were. Once seated, the decor was cute, but service was mediocre at best. The food was the biggest disappointment. It had been a while since we last visited, and it's definitely not the same. The rice was bland and flavorless, and the gyro meat tasted like frozen, reheated product -- very dry, with the main flavor being salt. Instead of the fresh-carved gyro meat you typically see on a vertical rotisserie at most Greek restaurants, the kitchen area was closed off, so there was no visible preparation or carving station. For nearly $50, the experience simply did not match the price. Between the disorganized service and underwhelming food, we won't be back. Next time, we'll stick to supporting East Valley Greek spots that offer better quality and value. I want to preface, this place used to be good. Not sure of ownership changed, but save yourself a trip and find something better and more affordable
