    Jalapeño Smash, fries, BB's sauce
    Brittney M.

I'll happily have another please! BB's jalapeño smash burger was a smash hit for my tastebuds. The fresh ground beef patties, the thin onions cooked into the meat, the grilled jalapeños, melty cheese and sauce, all between a soft and buttery bun...I'm drooling just thinking about it. Fries were perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Everything perfectly seasoned. Everything fresh. The menu is small, and that's fine by me because what they're doing, they're doing it very well. I went on a Saturday around 3 or so and there wasn't a line. Service was quick and friendly. It shares a lot with two other food places and has lots of picnic tables, covered and uncovered. Nice place for a solo outing or with a group of friends. I'll be back!

This is a solid burger spot. The food is reasonably priced and it tastes great. I strongly recommend the Jalapeño Smash Burger if you like a kick. The service is fantastic and the wait isn't too long. And there is an outdoor area for kids to play if you want to bring your kids.

A really solid smashburger spot- the menu is minimalistic and at a good cost. Soft toasty potato buns + patties were crispy. The only thing is that I could've used a bit more sauce (which I'll ask for more next time), and the salt/seasoning on the patties were a bit heavy handed. The star for me were the fries. They're sooo crispy and golden brown. They were doing a breakfast burger special and we liked that a lot! It's loaded with all the classic breakfast items. Overall really good, love the location, and staff was friendly.

Imagine you're getting out of the pool craving a smash burger + you find BB's on yelp. You decide to walk there since it's only 15 mins and can also walk your dog. Your favorite show starts at 7pm so you time your walk, order, and cook time perfectly to have you back for the show start.... only to get to BB's and they tell you they are out of fries... 1/2 of the main menu.. and offer you no discount on your burger for the inconvenience ($12 burger)... so now you have no choice but to order your burger without fries and walk to the whataburger near buy to order fries... and missing the first few minutes of your show. my jalapeño smash burger is good. I think the frustration and price is cutting into me enjoying it. will try again but how can you be out of fries at 6pm and you close at 9?!

A solid smash burger at a good value, and quick service. The burger was crispy and juicy and simply assembled. What I love about this spot is that it also has Vecino's and Zeds, so it's a great place for groups who want some options.

I loved BB's smash burger and fries! I got a single patty which was cooked just right and tastes exactly like a classic smash burger - it was flavorful with a crispy patty and tasty burger sauce. I really like their fries too - super crispy on the outside of soft and fluffy inside and a generous portion size for the price. Will be back for sure!

my favorite smash burger in austin. a simple menu with only two options for burger, i would recommend the classic for a filling meal. super flavorful and juicy burger. i wish there was more sauce. since it's a food truck, the only option for seating is outside with a ton of flys. they do try to control it with table fans however the flies do still find a way to your food.

BB's is an easy spot to review--they only make two things: burgers and fries. The stand shares an outdoor seating area with Zed's Ice Cream and Vecinos, a Mexican food trailer. Their smash burger comes with one or two patties, grilled onions, pickles, cheese, and special sauce. I would say it ranks among Austin's top-tier smash burgers--very thin patty with lacy edges. The fries are crispy, craggly, and served with flaky salt for a nice touch. Drinks are limited to a few sodas and bottled water, so BYOTopo Chico if that's your thing. They also have self-serve water from Yeti coolers, though the cups are small. There's a play area with astroturf for kids, and it's shaded during the hottest part of the day, so I could see coming here for burgers and grabbing ice cream for dessert.

We were visiting Zedds, but I was hungry for something more than an ice cream... I was really happy to see there are now food trucks next door! I decided to try BBS and ordered a double patty smash burger and fries and shared with my kiddos. It was very good and reasonably priced. They have a pretty simple limited menu, but it also makes it easy to decide what to order! I thought the serving of fries was a large serving size too. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating in this new shared space with Zedds.

BBs over NADC any day of the week. Definitely top 5 burgers in Austin. If you're tired of the same old burger, look no further- BBs is for you. It's real traditional smash burger. Beef is perfectly cooked crispy and juicy, under a blanket of melted of cheese and BBs sauce with pickles. Also a great atmosphere for families and kids. Play area for the young ones, cool picnic table vibe. Pair that with Zeds for desert and you've got one hell of a casual date night.

Really great smash burger! The Cowboy burger came with bacon, fried onions, and bbq sauce. It was saucy and a little messy in a great way. The classic came with white american cheese and grilled onions. It had a classic burger sauce which could have been a little thicker consistency. Both have thin patties with a little bit of lacy edges. The bun had an amazing butter toast to it! The large order of fries was very large! Very shareable! The food came out quickly!

Smash Burgers? More like smashed my face off with the tastiest damn burger in Austin!! This is the perfect spot: great burgers right next to Zed's with a great outdoor area with plenty of seating a the perfect little turf space for kiddos to run around. I you're craving a perfect smash burgers and tasty fries, this is the spot. - burger 9.5/10 - fries 9/10 - service 10/10 - vibe 9.5/10 - price, very fair

Thin patties with crispy edges spilling out of the perfect bun.

We got the nachos(minus beef), and the flauta plate. Plus a pretty solid sized lemonade. Thirty. Eight. Dollars. I know Austin's food is expensive, but $30+ for sub par food? No way. I wish I could've gotten pictures of the nachos we received, but to paint a picture for you they resembled nachos I received from my public school. Sad. Watery. Bad. Now the flautas plate looked pretty decent actually, but the taste didn't hold up to its looks. Nothing had flavor. The mexican rice was just red white rice with carrots in it. No tomato flavor, or any flavor was in them at all. And the beans were eh, just nothing special to even mention. The best thing about this place was their salsa though! Helped tremendously with the rest of the foods flavor. Now the lemonade, pretty good. Not the best, but for sure helped with the rest of the meal. The service was excellent, but I just wish the food could be on par with the taste of the food. All in all, Im glad I tried it to remember to do a deeper dive on where I go to eat next time.

Came here with a couple of friends and we wanted to try a little bit of everything. Line wasn't too long and the owner was there taking orders and was patient enough to explain everything. Pimiento Mac and cheese was delightful, and so was the debris grits. The pistolette roll was a nice touch and was delicious with the honey butter. Definitely recommend this place and will be back as soon as possible.

Well because sometimes you have meat loving friends who want to eat barbecue and you don't want to miss out on socialization. As well I figure if the place can make sides good then hopefully that means their barbecue is good right? Located behind Batch Craft Beer and Kolaches, this barbecue trailer is super fun place to bring large groups/family as it has large outdoor seating area with picnic tables and a turf area for the kids to run around and play in. There were other trailers in the back as well, but we focused on Parish which is BBQ with a Cajun twist. We came right when they opened on Saturday at 11 am and was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a long wait. However will say by the time we ordered and got our food the popular items like pulled duck and rolls were sold out by 1 pm. We a vegetarian almost all the sides were vegetarian. I really enjoyed the pimento Mac and cheese (as did my whole group and was unanimous the favorite side out of all the sides). It's slightly sweeter than regular Mac and cheese because of the peppers. I also liked the creole tomato salad as it was nice and refreshing. The potato salad was nothing to write home about. However you must get the fried pistolette rolls!! They were DELICIOUS, buttery but not too heavy and honestly weren't overly fried. Parking wise they have shared parking but plenty of street parking if the parking lot is full.

It's a simple looking black food truck in a busy parking lot, and the day I came was a Saturday when it was raining fairly heavily. I ordered the pita which you can request to do 1/2 and 1/2, so I got 1/2 brisket and 1/2 kofta. The kofta was certainly unique but I didn't like it as much as the brisket which was absolutely delicious and prepared so well. It comes with cubed marinated veg and a yogurt sauce to pour on if you get take away. I also ordered the cardamom pistachio rice pudding because I love those flavors and it was very smooth, not too sweet, and easy to eat. I'd love to go back to try the Dum Ali sometime.
