The og birrieria mama rosa! Def not in the most convenient spot, so I feel like I would visit some of their other closer locations, but the food is so so good. The birria special is a must get of course. The consomme is so delicious, (it kind of reminded me of pho) and the birria tacos were so good. They fill that thing all the way up! And the meat and cheese ratio is perfect. We also got the birria reuben. Also so good, it was a nice mix of tender meat and the sauerkraut with the golden buttery bread. Plus the fries were so addicting. Truly the crispiest fries I've ever had. The caramel churros were the perfect finish. So hot and fresh with the caramel inside. And it was surprisingly not too sweet. Only downside is that their seating area is literally one table in the hot sun, so I definitely see this as more of a takeout spot and you just eat at home. read more

Very, very good tacos and Quesabirria! Just an overall lovely little shop. I got to try their Quesabirria tacos with the consomme. With one order, I got 3 tacos. They were packed to the brim with tasty meat and plenty of cheese! Super flavorful and satisfying. Solid portion for the price. The consomme was also quite good and came in a solid portion; not the most flavorful, but still quite good. 2 spicy sauces provided on the side, as well as option for lime and radishes. All in all, definitely recommend this spot! The food is very tasty; I would especially recommend the Quesabirria! read more

Overall: 4.3/5 [delivery] We ordered through UberEats, and it arrived quickly, in about half an hour. The tacos are large and filling, and they provide plenty of limes and sauces. Definitely a good bang for your buck. Quesabirria Special ($17.40): The quesabirria were generously stuffed with meat and cheese. They are good on their own but even better when dipped in the red or green sauce. Unfortunately, the consomé was underwhelming. I actually preferred drinking it like a soup rather than using it as a dip, as it lacked a strong umami flavor. Pastor Taco on Flour Tortilla ($5.52) and Ribeye Fajita on Flour Tortilla ($6.60): Both tacos were yummy. The flavors were on point, and the meat was juicy and well seasoned. Fried Avocado Taco on Corn Tortilla ($6.60): The fried avocado was not crispy at all when we ate it. I was not a fan and could only manage one bite. I was trying to figure out what I wanted for dinner last night and saw Birria ramen and knew I had to go. My bf and I went around 9:00 pm and waited about 15 minutes for our order. Ordered for pick up from their website and the food was ready super quick! We got the quesobirria special, and it came with three delicious tacos and consommé. Everything was flavorful and finger-licking good! Seems like the menu had some other birria themed items, but if you're looking for a solid birria taco option this place has you covered! Just be aware parking is pretty limited in the area. read more

Few things in this world make me as happy as birria tacos. I used to work very close to Mama Rosa, they were so good I had to venture out to their new location when the birria hungers hit. Atmosphere: Food truck service. Can't miss it, it's pink. So atmosphere may vary depending on where they are parked for the day. Food: The birria here is spectacular and their choices of what kind are exactly what any taco and cheese lover wants. You'll find the usual selection found around Austin, that being the tacos, a pizza, quesadilla, and sometimes ramen. I can happily say I've tried all of them, with the pizza being my favorite. Something about the cheese with their mix of consomé is just pure bliss. Service: Friendly service. Food truck style service so no real interaction but every time I've gone they're nice. Easily would return especially since they service mostly the North Austin area. If you ever need a birria taco fix, come on over. read more

First thing I have to say is bless the hands who prepared my plate today. The birrieria tacos were incredible, packed with a load of meat and cheese, and very fresh ingredients. Favorite thing was the consomé, they didn't hesitate on the portions and was extremely flavorful, enhanced every bite!!!! P.S Be careful when trying to park, there is a steep hill going into the parking lot. Definitely caught me and my car off guard lol Recommend any day especially if you want to sleep good read more

A pink trailer tucked in the back of convenience store parking lot off of North Loop and Avenue F, is where you'll find some great birria tacos. I've been hearing many a good review of Birrieria Mama Rosa, so I decided to stop in. I had the birria tacos at few places, and every place has their own way to cook. Everyone does have added at no charge, cilantro, onions, consume of some type, and sauces available. Some consumes are a little more greasy than others and some have more meat than others. The ones here were stuffed with more meat than at other places I've been too. The flavor of each place is different, but that makes each of the unique. I'll be sure to be back for another round. I did stop to pick up a Big Red to go along with it. read more

I didn't have much liquid in my ramen BUT it could be because I got my order to go and I had to drive 6 mins back to where I was staying. There was too much grease in the ramen (imo). I'm not sure if I was at the same location, but I got food from this truck and it was so good! Service was not fast food pace, which is fine because the food is so worth it! This food truck has some authentic birria tacos! I used to only go to Gabriela's for their birria but I'm going to start coming here. The food was authentic. The tacos were stuffed with food. The meat was so clean and lean. The consome was so delicious. It's located next to a gas station but it has a great authentic vibe with string lights and colorful seating. The man that was serving us was also incredibly friendly and clearly a great cook. If someone asks me where to get authentic birria tacos, I will be sending them to Bittieria Mama Rosa. :) read more

I got the birria tacos and they were so flavorful and yum! Lots of meat and cheese filled in the tacos. The flavor of the entire dish came together! The service was fast and the guy working in the food truck was very nice and asked us how we like our tacos. He was really friendly. The food truck is really cute and decorated nicely. Today I stopped by this pink food truck in Pflugerville on my way home from work. It's parked at a gas station a little ways down the street from Windermere Elementary. I ordered 2 Quesabirria Specials for $13.99 each. Came out to $30 and some change. I sat in my car while my order was made. They brought it to me within ten minutes and I was on my way. The consommé is fantastic! The best I've had thus far. Better than my own I must sadly admit. I don't usually care for consommé with my birria tacos. But this consommé? Oh I drank the whole cup after finishing my food. There was a good amount of meat and cheese in these tacos. They were very well sized. I will say I wouldn't care for them without the consommé. The meat was tender but not super seasoned. My guess is they meant to do that by how seasoned the consommé was. The green salsa it came with packed a hell of a punch. Too much for me but I didn't need it for these tacos. Overall 10/10! read more

It's pretty well lit and they play good music (old school). The only thing I would say is they need to work on updating the heaters and bathrooms. Although they're locked, I feel like they need more care and the hot water doesn't work. I tried 4 (Habibi, Tacos, Pete's Cajun Seafood, and Coat & Thai) out of the 7 trucks and all of the food was delicious!

Birrieria Mama Rosa #1 in Austin was recommended to me by a friend who loves quesabirria, so I had to give it a try. The quesabirria was pretty solid and delicious. The tacos had good flavor, and it definitely satisfied my craving. They also have multiple locations, and from my experience, I would say the quality is pretty consistent across their trucks.
