Tacos

Drove right by looking for something new and compatriot needed to stop by the gas station so we ended up here. Wasn't in the mood for burgers otherwise we might've been there instead. Service was friendly and helpful with any questions. We both got tacos of different varieties. They also made a breakfast taco for me which was nice. Fav was easily the cabeza. Compatriot had gotten the pastor, but said it'd be better as a burrito for him. Pretty quick all in all, which worked best for our short lunch break.

This taco food truck in a sketchy Shell parking lot is SO GOOD. You know it's legit when the only customers are Mexican construction workers, and the ladies greet you only in Spanish (although they do speak English). They are cash only, and their prices are excellent. Their breakfast tacos are $2.50 and regular tacos are $3.50, with a few exceptions. I've tried the barbacoa, pastor, lengua, and carnitas tacos. They were all delicious, and my favourite was the lengua.

Best freaking breakfast tacos and only for $2! They have many options for breakfast and lunch and everything is to die for. Obsessed with this little pink truck.

One of the best tacos I have had in Austin and ONLY $3. This is such a hidden gem. Make sure to bring cash because it is cash only

This place is the bomb.com. It's just a random food truck next to a gas station and it may be hard to locate, but I was glad that I found it. Cheap tacos that are absolutely delicious. I tried chorizo and egg, chicharon, pastor, and carnitas and they were all so so flavorful. They come with a green and red sauce which were not super spicy but added a great kick to the tacos. Tacos range from $1.50-3 but two tacos was enough to fill me up so I essentially had lunch for only $3.50!!! This place is a gem, you must try it!

Uh, ya, I use to think Los Compadres was my favorite in Belton Texas.. And they're awesome! But, this place beat um out. So so good, and the sauces were on point as well! I got 1 campechanos and 1 pastor. Pastor was my favorite, now it's campechanos. Legit!

New look to the trailer and their menu.

This is the taco truck of your dreams. The quality and cost is unparalleled. Even when I'm 4th in line to order, they're in my hands quickly. There's nothing more you can ask for in a neighborhood taco truck. The corn tortillas are hand made, the ingredients fresh and the green sauce to die for. I dig their green sauce more then the Taco Deli or Taco Shack around the corner. I've been going to Olga and her crew here for well over a year. Their menu has expanded to occasionally offer specials on the weekends. They routinely take card now, but I would bring cash because you'll want to tip them after you get your tacos. There's next to no wait for the food. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. There's a cute pink picnic bench behind the truck to eat your food while contemplating life. Which will be improved by eating said tacos.

Very good breakfast tacos. Made from scratch and fresh. Careful though, food is very hot since it's just made.

It's a nice food truck at UT Austin that's open late. We had just left the Bass Concert Hall, five…read moreminutes away, and to get to our show on time, we missed dinner. It was now after 10 pm and we had an hour drive ahead of us to get home. So we turned to Yelp and found this gem. We parked on the street. Students were walking by the whole time, which added to the vibe. You order and pay on an app and they call your name when it's ready. They specialize in bento boxes to go. Not your miso soup and ginger salad bento boxes, though. You won't find sushi rolls and pickled ginger. But it's a dinner in a box with rice, veggies, a choice of protein, you pick one of five sauces, and you have a choice of adding curry for $2. Add the curry! It's a Japanese golden curry. Yum. It's basically gravy. A very tasty gravy. And who doesn't like rice and gravy?! Can they get away with calling this a bento box? A cardboard box with no California roll and no miso? Why, yes, actually! Bento boxes are originally designed to be meals on the go. It's the kind of meal you buy in Japan for a train ride. And this definitely fits the bill. Portions are healthy. The rice was moist and well-seasoned. The broccoli was tender-crisp. The curry came in a separate container so you can add as much or as little as you want (we added it all). We had one chicken dish and one beef dish. The chicken is fried and the beef is braised and shredded, with strips of onion. They were both tastey, and both were designed for quick service from a food truck. Despite the line ahead of us, our meal came quickly. It was a cold night so we ate in our car, parked on the street. But it's a quiet, street and they had picnic tables we could have used if we'd brought ticket coats for the 40 degree, breezy night. Next time I'll check the weather report before leaving the house! We finished our meal and headed out for the long drive home, very full, and very satisfied.

Self service, you order on your own on the kiosk. I do miss interacting with people. The food was…read morereasonably priced, I thought it was a really good value, a nine dollar bento box would definitely have lasted me two meals. Plenty of sauces to choose from. While there isn't seating in the parking area of the food truck it's right next to campus and there are plenty of seating areas available

I got the spicy tenders and they had a spicy aftertaste but they weren't TOO spicy - my nose only sweat a little The spicy chicken paired with the fluffy sweet waffle with syrup was a crazy good combination. I love a good sweet and savory combo The french fries were gorgeous. Thicc, crisp outside, soft inside, and some yummy ass seasoning They were great on their own but once I dipped them in the longhorn sauce ... GAME OVER. ugh so good. Sandro got the chicken sandwich and it was just as good. The brioche bun was toasted and it came with ranch and pickles (he asked for no pickles though) He also added some of the longhorn sauce to his sandwich and it tasted great. I don't know what they put in the longhorn sauce to make it so good and addicting... but that sauce HITTTTSSSS Last but not least, the mac&cheese was SUPER creamy and did not last very long because it was very tasty I love Longhorn Chicken. We got great service and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. They get 5 chefs kisses from me ‍

Summary: great place to binge eat after a long day! Food is the perfect compliment to a late night!…read more FOOD: chicken tenders, waffle, and Mac and cheese combo is an absolute must. It's the perfect meal to pick you right back up! Decently priced and worth every penny! However, they may run out before closing-- then I'd recommend the halal truck in that same food truck alley! SERVICE: They're good people who work hard, give a tip it won't kill you, but it'll make their day! Cheers
