Rating: 4.5/5 [dine in] We came around 11:30 AM, so there was no line. You can order on the tablets, but if you're paying using inKind, you have to order with a staff member. The service was amazing! The guy working was attentive to customers and always asking if they needed help. The food came out pretty quickly. Everything was good, filling, and satisfying. Classic ($11): Comes with a double patty, American cheese, pickles, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and JABS sauce sandwiched between potato buns. I got extra pickles and grilled jalapeños, which were free of charge, and they gave a generous portion. The patties were massive. The burger was flavorful and so much better than the one on Rainey Street. Seasoned Fries ($5): Nicely crisped and seasoned. Even better when dipped in JABS sauce. Soda Can ($2): We got Diet Coke to wash down the food.

I did see Jabs won a burger contest in Austin so I was very interested to try. This location is in the Fareground, which is basically a food court. Parking and entry is not easy. But I can for the burger. I did get the classic and fries. The double smash was good, the fries were mid at best. I will say the beef patties were quite tasty. The experience of ordering off and ipad and waiting for your name to be called is a bit sanitized . Not sure I would make a second trip. There are other burgers in Austin to try.

I'm a girl who prefers no pickles on burgers so that's my own bias but even my partner stated he felt the burger was very pickle forward. The waygu beef was suppose to be star, especially at the price point for this ($40 for two burgers, a diet coke, and a shared order of beast fried), and it simply wasn't. Both the burger and fries were well cooked but my feedback is slapping what seems to be sliced cheese that will only melt to the top layer of fries and leave the rest without any toppings feels like a missed opportunity. It makes it harder even grab fries because they are conjoined together by the cheese. I like consistency in each bite, once the top layer of fries was gone they were just plain Jane fries. I think if the burger had some crunchy / crispy to just break up all the soft textures that would be nice as well. Like subbing the grilled jalepenos for raw ones. I can't say I'd go out of my way for this spot again with other competitors like Buddy's being closer and less pricey but it was still a well cooked burger. But if you like pickles, this is the place for you! It's bar/ high top dining only so definitely a casual, quick bite stop.

For example (see picture)- my dad who is far from vegan or vegetarian tried the Caesar salad and Jr Burger today with a milkshake. He also had some of my brisket burger. Words out of his mouth I never thought I'd hear: "if you put this brisket next to Salt Lick, I wouldn't know the difference! The burger tastes even better than a 'normal burger' and Caesar salad out of this world. Are you sure this is actually vegan???" Then he went on to say, "If I had this place where I lived, I'd come here 2-3 times a week to eat." This is coming from someone who thought vegan food wasn't great. I'm telling you- the world's biggest critic loved it today. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So- vegans, vegetarians, people allergic to dairy, and omnivores....this is for ALL of you. No joke.

Wow! Did not expect how good this place was. I have always passed by this place and over looked it…read more Definitely wished I tried sooner. First walking in I was greeted by the staff and they were so welcoming and sweet. We got offered a cookie while ordering, which definitely sweetened the deal for me. The staff answered all of our questions and even let us try some of the items as we were in between the Mac n cheese with brisket or not. First off, the bbq brisket is CRAZY good! It's made from mushroom and cooked so well. I got the brisket with Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was very creamy, but I would not say cheesy. I really liked the mac n cheese, even though I usually do not gravitate towards it. My favorite item other than the brisket would be the onion rings. It was savory and rich, and has a great crunch to it. I recommend getting it with the ranch, but there is also an option for bbq sauce. We also got the Carne Asada Steak Quesadilla (weekly item) and a Jr. Mission Burger. It was good to try but when compared to the brisket and onion rings, it ranks lower on my list. The items did not stand out to me, but were a decent choice. Overall, I would definitely come back and try their other items on the menu. Loved the team, they definitely made the experience for me!

5/5 Stars - Hands-down the best meal of my trip!**…read more I'm in town for a conference and have been eating out every single day--hotel breakfasts, chain spots, random takeout--and honestly, nothing has come close to what I had at Jimmy's Big Burger tonight. This was by far the best meal I've had all week. The cheeseburger was outstanding. The bun was perfect--soft, and held everything together without getting soggy. The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level. The fries were exactly how I like them: thick-cut, tender, not overly crunchy or crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was spot-on. Service was excellent too--friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Shoutout to the team for making a conference-weary traveler feel right at home. If you're anywhere near Jimmy's, do yourself a favor and go. I'm already thinking about coming back before I leave town. So well done--thank you! Highly recommend. 10/10 would eat again.

There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

This burger joint fills the spot vacated by Hopdoddy when they went corporate and their quality tanked. Creative topping combos, legitimately medium-cooked patties, and friendly service. I enjoyed the aptly-named Perfect Burger, a sweet and savory combo of gruyere, bacon jam, pickled onions, and lettuce. I also snagged a few fries out of my dinner companion's basket. They were freshly fried and the right amount of crispy. The restaurant could use some sound dampening, but the din wasn't enough to deter my return. 5280 is going in the rotation!

This burger is so flavorful and juicy and is actually making me feel better. The combination of all that cheese and a touch of sauce on both sides of the bun just made my body feel good and I'll have a good sleep tonight for sure!!! Btw, despite the restaurant being very busy when I arrived to pickup my order, it was actually ready before the quoted pickup time!
