    Dessert salt bread
    Jessica G.

Visiting on weekday noon to find that they only have the milk twist donut, plain croissant, and madeleine left (heart break!). Yep, the town was that mad over anything new seems like. It's a pretty cozy space with outdoor patio by the side so you could obviously enjoy your bread on the spot, besides they did offer drinks. Sizable sharing parking space available as well. All the team serving were super friendly and welcoming. They did tell me that pre-order actually available but only for selected bread. Since my remaining options were so limited, it's pretty easy choice lol. I went for the twist donut (I hope I got the name right), and it caught me surprised how much I loved the impressively chewy and moist texture, along with the abundant milk custard stuffing. That powdery coating which my guess said was also milk-based def elevated the overall flavor. I literally couldn't wait to come back and got my hands on their salt bread!!

Food: We got the this garlic cream cheese bread and that was one of the samples I got and it was DELICIOUS! I had to Buy it! My toddler chose this cheese bread and the the girl who helped us out told me it was a focaccia bread with cheese. My son loved it! ( I tried a piece and yes it was yummy!) Service: I went for some bread, because my toddler wanted some and I was greeted very politely. The employee there offered us some samples of some of their breads. She offered almost all of the types. She also explained that one was a spin off of a concha but Korean and it was delicious! ! Overall she was super kind! Ambiance: super cute and lots of drawings of breads right outside of the location and all over the seating area. Had some music playing not too loud and overall it was a really cute place I would definitely come back!

This bakery is definitely worth a visit! The custard bread was incredibly soft with a delicious custard topping that had the perfect balance of sweetness. I also tried the matcha, and it had a smooth, authentic flavor with a nice balance of earthy and sweet notes. Everything tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries!

Sadly they were out of this type of bean until next week, otherwise we would have definitely gotten them! The dolly latte had everything I ever wanted in a latte. Not only was the espresso and milk combined really nicely, but also it was slightly sweetened with ?caramel, almost reminded me of sweet condensed milk. Overall it tasted like a combination of an American latte with Viet coffee! Staff were nice and friendly. Some bench seating on the inside but lots of tables/chairs outside. The seafoam green is hard to miss and pretty aesthetically pleasing in contrast to the shades of coffee brown. Street parking only. Would definitely stop by next time I'm in town!

I tried their Americano with thick lavender creme and it was subtle yet nice. Never had an Americano like that and I didn't hate it. But this did look appealing so I said why not be different today lol They also had food tried the bulgolgi burrito it was okay very hearty on the meat and had two eggs on it but I felt something was missing? Travis was so accommodating, even though at some point we had taken over several tables (in our defense it was not particularly busy). Now, I come here sometimes when I'm not running late to work/have some extra time to spare in the morning. The space is set up great for catching up with friends (like we did) or getting some work done (I always see at least one person on a laptop when I drop by). There's a little parking lot right in front, and I've been able to park there easily each visit. I normally order some sort of cold coffee. On my most recent visit I got a blue mint latte, which was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I'm also a fan of the pastries. I've had some sort of tomato pastry and a jalapeño cheese croissant, both of which satisfied whatever savory craving I was having. I appreciate the resources posted, the signage that's up, and the community events that happen here. The energy and intention behind this space are wonderful.

I got an iced latte with almond milk and added 2 packs of stevia (huge bonus that they actually have stevia). They also have board games which is a fun touch. I didn't check if any pieces were missing or if the games were dirty but still nice to see. Service was friendly, no complaints there. So crazy, I live up the road, work down the road and drive on Pico all the time that I have never noticed them until last week. Walking in this place is your typical Los Angeles hipster coffee shop. Perfect for what this neighborhood has seemed to be changing into the past few years that I've lived in the neighborhood. Customer service was all right. Not necessarily friendly, I walked in and it took a minute for someone to acknowledge me. Now maybe to their credit it's because I was awkwardly standing by the pick up area but still nonetheless a hello good morning welcome would have been nice. Two drinks cost me $15. Like I said, LA. But for the credit, they were both very good. I'll be back for breakfast and more drinks so an updated review is to come. But for now, I recommend them for a a good cup of joe in the neighborhood.
