I've been to the Concerto Bakery in City Market and the original Concerto Restaurant before it closed, but this was my first time visiting this location. I stopped by because they were running a promotion through August 6: a signature latte or matcha with a salt bread for just $6 (no tax). My friend and I ordered one signature latte and one matcha, and both drinks came out in about 5 minutes. There are a handful of seats inside, along with a few tables right outside if you want to enjoy your drink there. The matcha was surprisingly good. Personally, I'd still rank Rok and Stagger above Concerto for matcha, but I'd say Concerto serves one of the better matchas in Koreatown compared to most other cafés I've tried. The real star, though, is the salt bread (pro tip: ask for it toasted - or toast it for 3 mins in the air fryer before eating). I've tried salt bread from over 10 bakeries across Koreatown and Little Tokyo, and Concerto is still my favorite. I haven't had the chance to try the famous Ordis salt bread yet, but among the places I've been, this one stands out for its buttery flavor, crisp exterior, and soft, fluffy interior. Of course, if you've had salt bread in Korea--places like Jayeondo or bakeries around Jongno--you'll find even more exceptional versions there. Service (10/10): Both the cashier and barista were incredibly friendly. They even let my friend charge her phone after it died, which was a thoughtful gesture that really stood out. Overall: If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--especially while the $6 drink + salt bread promotion is still available. It's one of the best café deals in Koreatown, and I'd happily come back for the salt bread alone. read more

I originally thought it was the same café as another location with a similar name, but they're separate spots with similar drink offerings. Space and Seating The shop itself is on the smaller side, with seating only outside...two small tables right in front of the entrance. It's simple, cozy, and works well for a quick stop rather than lingering inside. Drinks and Food I ordered the cookie banana latte from their extended Santa menu, which was a limited edition. I enjoyed it, and the drink was made quickly. My sister tried the pistachio latte but didn't love it. We also ordered a plain bread for my 2 year old nephew, and he liked it. This is a modern cute little spot inside Zion Market. Service was great and they have a loyalty card system. There's not too many seats there it is pretty small. I got a holiday special Banana cookie latte and it was absolutely scrumptious. It wasn't too sweet and I could taste the banana chunks which I liked. I also got the Mentaiko salt bread and that was SOOOO delicious. Perfectly flavored and the bread was soft and fluffy. I will definitely be back to try more of their salt breads. Def does not have the same wide selection of flavors but it surely suffices for those not willing to wait in line. gonna be honest we really wanted to try out of ordi but were time restricted and the line was too long so i sought out any other spot with salt bread and found out this was right across the street. i was much surprised to find that the bread here was not only delicious, but cheaper too; they were around $4-5 each i believe, depending on the flavor (although i can't necessarily compare the taste as i haven't tried ooo yet). regardless of any comparison, this was already so yummy. truffle salt bread - 9/10: i simply have just a bit higher standard because of this one amazing spot i tried in japan so that would be unfair to compare. this one exceeded expectations already with how strong the truffle actually was. original salt bread - 8/10: this was a classic, it was buttery but not overly buttery, and just such a reliable option garlic cheese cream bread - 11/10: it may not necessarily have APPEARED to be as good as the rest but surprised us with how great it tasted. the garlic is not intense and the cream cheese had a slight sweetness to it that just sparked a great reaction with every bite we each took we ended up also trying the biscoff latte despite not planning on ordering a drink and oh my god it was amazing. the coffee they use is just unreal, probably one of the best espressos i've had in a latte. it was not sour at all as some cafes' coffees are, and was sooo creamy. i forgot to make my usual adjustments of less sweetness but was surprised to find it was just perfect at default. the biscoff is very prominent, of course, but not overpowering either. i loved the crumbles in the drink and the foam on top as well. the entire experience here was just surprisingly great for a spot so hidden away (it's located inside a little shopping? center). service was great and the spot is just super cute as well. a few tables inside and some wall seating inside with nice decor. the only downside is the parking. we found some street parking after two attempts around the block (not sure if there's some other designated parking for the area) read more

I had a great experience at this cafe in Ktown! This cafe is located in The Rise building shared with Zion market. They have 1 hour of free validated parking with purchase. For drinks, I ordered the Concerto Signature Latte and it was delicious! Good coffee flavor mixed with cacao powder and their house made cream which was not too sweet and light. I liked slurping on the cream itself, but it was also delicious mixed with the rest of the drink. Everything meshed well together. I also ordered a salt bread and it was the perfect compliment to the drink. I requested that it be warmed up which they were able to accommodate which definitely elevated it. The salt bread was warm, soft, chewy, and crispy. I also liked how it was truly a savory pastry since a lot of Korean pastries tend to be on the sweeter side. A must if getting a drink from here! They do upcharge a small amount usually ranging from a $1 to $1.50 depending on the drink to use Kona beans. Ordered a shot of espresso with kona beans + signature latte + coconut latte. Espresso 8/10 signature latte 7.5/10 - thought it was too sweet for my liking coconut latte 7.8/10 - not bad, quite tasty. not too sweet unlike the signature latte. Ill be swinging by often to try the other drinks. Im usually not a latte person but wanted to try since they said it was the most popular. Super cute coffee shop hidden inside the Zion Market plaza ! I didn't know this was here until I was being nosey and walked towards the back of the plaza, what a great find ! My partner and I ordered the signature coffee one hot and one cold. They said it was the most popular drink so we ordered it! I usually like iced coffee more than hot, but I actually enjoyed it hot. I used the cookie that comes as a topping and dipped it into my coffee, it was good! The coffee isn't overly sweet, but I did ask for lower sweetness, so if you're not into super sweet drinks, you can have it adjusted (some drinks cannot be adjusted). The salt bread is okay, kind of like a dinner roll with some salt (not the best I've tried). The egg tarts are soft, not too sweet, light custard creamy. Stopped by during my lunch break and got the chocolate banana latte, green onion cream cheese salt bread, and egg tarts( not pictured) and they were great! I was actually surprised by the salt bread. I loved the crispy bottom and the slightly sweet cream cheese that matched so well with the salty and the herby taste of the green onion. The banana chocolate latte was also really good! I was worried that the chocolate would over power the banana which it kind of did but thankfully you can still taste the banana. I would probably ask for less chocolate syrup as a personal preference but if you like chocolate you will love this latte! The egg tarts were also so buttery and flaky heated back up. Not to be confused with Caffe Concerto (which I originally did and I'm pretty sure it's by the same people) but this is a new-ish little coffee/matcha spot inside the RISE apartment building that also has a Paris Baguette and Zion Market. Parking was relatively easy and you just look for the retail parking sign. We didn't take that long but it was free parking for however long we were there. The shop itself is very small but has a very cute esthetic. The lady at the counter was literally the sweetest and I would honestly just go back for her customer service. I ordered the Banana Hojicha Latte and it was delicious. She explained that I should take the first initial sips without the straw and then mix before drinking the rest. It's definitely not a latte you can get just anywhere and I was impressed by the sweet but no too sweet, rich but not to rich and extremely balanced flavors. My friend wanted to check this place out for her Yelp Elite event and I thought I'd try it out to even though I wasn't able to get in through the event. I got a chocolate banana latte which had like a banana chip on top as a garnish which was very yummy. It wasn't too sweet I would say and is the perfect amount of sweetness. There aren't many seats inside, so it's more of a grab-and-go type of spot. They offer select pastries from Concerto Bakery - I was glad to see the original salt bread because this one is always my go-to! They also had earl grey and chocolate covered salt bread, as well as egg tarts, muffins, regular croissants and cube croissants with different fillings (sweet potato, blueberry, strawberry, ube). For drinks, they offer a variety of specialty lattes. Any of their drinks topped with their house-made cream are definitely worth trying! I loved the cute decor inside like the smiley planters and croissant ceramics. We got the Signature cream latte and the Banana chocolate latte. The signature was delicious and creamy as expected, with very strong espresso flavor. It came with a little palmier cookie for you to dip in the cream. The banana latte was perfect for me!! At first I didn't even think there was espresso because the first sip was just banana and chocolate. But once I mixed it up I got more of the coffee notes. There are a few promotions and giveaways for the soft launch, including free salt bread for the first 100 customers on day one. They are known for their salt breads and signature lattes, so I decided to get just that. The signature cream latte includes a sweet latte, concerto cream, and cacao powder. There's also an option to add nondairy milk for another $1.00. It's 100% Kona Hawaiian coffee, so it was delicious. I opted for the chocolate banana latte which sounds sweet, and it definitely was. When you want a sweet treat, this will satiate that craving.
