It's in a small plaza with barely any available parking (which is laid, so bring your coins - .25 gets you 45 minutes). If you're having issues finding parking in their lot, there is plenty of street parking and lots in the area. This place really blends in with the restaurants from the outside but when you walk in it feels so much different. As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted by two very nice young women who were behind the counter. The space was a lot bigger than I would've imagined. The decor is pretty standard to a lot of boba/bubble tea restaurants I have been too. There is a small amount of seating in the restaurant if you'd like to eat in. To me, the best part about Korean Chicken is the crispiness. bb.q's chicken sauces have great flavor, but the batter just isn't as crispy as the competitors. My husband and I wanted to get a large wing order and then get 50/50 of two different sauces. At other Korean wing places, this is no problem. However, bb.q doesn't allow this. We had to order two smalls instead which ends of costing way more. Yes, you get two sides (raddish or coleslaw), but we really didn't need two sides and I rather have saved the cash. By the time we did that and added fries, this meal was getting pricy for what it was. Furthermore, the water is bottled only, so that raises the price as well and you also can't get water refills when eating salty food. We tried the Gangnam Style and the Honey Garlic. The fries came out way before the wings, so we got very full on fries long before the wings arrived. I wish they'd timed it better. The Gangnam wings were not crispy at all, but flavor was good. Honey garlic was much better. The wings were pretty crispy and the sauce was well-balanced and not too sweet. However, the wing size was not as consistent as other places. Parking is available in the large lot by the H-Mart or on the street. The wings seemed to take way longer than Soho or Banchan. There is plenty of seating, but that evening we were the only ones dining in and not calling ahead. The wings are good, but not the best. I also ordered a lychee iced fruit tea & taro milk tea (potted style). I liked the lychee drink because it was not overly sweet, I could actually taste the tea. There was nice amount of lychee fruit in the drink. My husband got the taro drink. He finished the drink before I could get a taste. The shop seems to be take-out only. Make sure you order ahead so you don't have to wait 20 mins. It is on a one-way street so if you didn't call ahead, make sure you bring some spare change for the meters. So glad that I did... got the whole chicken boneless portion (20 pcs.) with half plain and half hot and spicy. The boneless version was extremely crispy and juicy, and it came with either a regular side or 2 small sides - opted for a small pickled radish and a small cole slaw side. Plenty of chicken to go around, too. Both styles were amazing, though definitely struggled with the spicy sauce - they really mean spicy! (We struggled enough that someone behind the counter came to us and thought we hated our food... quite the opposite!) The spicy sauce isn't just heat - it was an amazing blend of sweet, savory, and spicy... so we suffered, but it was worth suffering. If spice is your thing, go for the hot and spicy. Otherwise, if you just want a little kick, go for the secret spicy instead. Been here a few times and I really enjoy their fried chicken. We usually get soy garlic boneless chicken, which is a must here. We also tried the secret spicy boneless chicken, which really is not spicy at all, but a very, very mild heat. Fried chicken has a nice crisp to it and is not oily. I do wish the fried chicken had more sauce on it. Radish and coleslaw are good also. I tried the matcha latte, and I liked it, but a bit too sweet. They have a wide range of flavors and many menu items that are not chicken-related -- rice dishes, fruit drinks, milk tea etc. All the food is made to order which lengthens the wait time, but it's certainly worth it for the fresher quality. The restaurant itself is spacious with a lot of seating. It is moderately busy, but I don't see finding a seat to ever be a problem. Price can be steep for wings, but the crispiness and unique flavors justify their set prices. I paid approximately $14 for 10 wings. I personally like BBQ way more than Bonchon because of the crunch and the sauces. I got the Wings of Fire which was the perfect amount of spice. Spicy with a bit of sweetness. I also have a higher spice tolerance for reference but it's disappointing when you go to other Korean fried chicken places and the spiciest sauces aren't spicy. The service was nice and the workers greet you immediately. Compared to the BBQ in Chinatown, it's less saucy, but still a good amount, I just prefer more sauce.
