The interior is cool, comfortable booths, nice attentive service. The grilled chicken salad was bland. Definitely needs more dressing and some character. The burrata and peaches and the bacon were all right.

I had such a nice time at batch in West Palm Beach that we decided to meet our friends back at the Batch in the Delray Marketplace. We made a reservation at OpenTable and found a parking spot in the large free lot. There is outdoor dining as well as booths and tables indoors. The large bar serves those that are dining outside and inside. The Hillbilly 75 sangria with Brut, Strawberry Moonshine, St-Germain & Basil was refreshing & amazing. I couldn't wait to have the smoky BBQ egg rolls again with pulled pork short rib, root beer BBQ Sauce & buttermilk ranch in a huge crispy egg roll. By now everything was good & nothing else mattered! We shared biscuits & burnt ends, bringing half home. We shared an apple cobbler for dessert. Friends enjoyed their salads, burgers, fish ... Priscilla was great, personable on point, she took good care of all of us

Met friends Daren R and his lovely wife Laura here for dinner tonight. A fun vibe atmosphere with lots of customers and great food passing by our table. We had dined here before and we're glad to return. My wife and I had the fabulous Deviled Eggs, (and always order them at all Batch locations, they are so great!), and an order of biscuits to start. Pleasant place to start or finish your evening.

I've been to Batch a few times, and love how consistent the experience has always been. The service is always pleasant, fast, and overall welcoming. The ambiance is very relaxed! I love seating at the bar or or outside, but everywhere seems really nice. Definitely a must try if you're looking for some southern American relaxed restaurant.

This was our first time here. We had an amazing brunch. The food was great and our service from Bella was excellent as well. We can't wait to come back for dinner sometime

Came to Batch for the 90s brunch. We decided to sit at the bar, and vibe out close to the dj. The staff was great, dancing and singing along with the patrons, making it a fun experience. The food itself was fantastic. If you are a fan of biscuits and gravy this was the place. The salmon Benedict was fantastic as well after our server suggested it. This is one of my new favorite places in Delray offering the option of indoor or outdoor seating and the drinks are delicious. Can't wait to see the other themed events.

I hadn't been here in years...I went here for happy hour. It was a fun to go with a group - ordered a vodka club soda and a salad ...we sat outside and listened to music. It was fun. They had a country music pro and he was a lot of fun to listen to! Plenty of parking available ...so that's super! It's in the Delray Marketplace!

"Service was kind, the pacing fine, But waiting on the check made me lose my dang mind?! Pretty good food, slick branding, bar was aglow, Vibe felt artificial--where's the Southern soul?" I must say this place was underwhelming in many ways. But nothing really went wrong. So four stars. It's only fair. But I must lay out my position for probably never visiting again. Service was solid from start to finish for the most part. Our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable butI tell you what, there is something in today's service industry where the server waits forever even after dessert and asking if you need anything else---they take FOREVER to bring the check. I'm like damn, just sit it there and we'll pay when we're ready. Ugh...but I digress.... What fell short was the setting itself, which didn't reflect the Southern batch kitchen identity the restaurant presents to offer. Rather than feeling rooted in a comfort-driven, food-forward concept, the space leans heavily into a bar/nightlife vibe. The food itself is good, but the overall experience felt overly packaged. The branding and presentation around "Southern batch cooking" came across as more manufactured than authentic, and the concept didn't fully land for me. I kept thinking: I don't believe you, Southern Batch Kitchen. I stayed with the safer, more straightforward menu items and didn't branch out much. I would like to try other dishes, but the pricing made experimentation feel like a risk. For the cost, I expected a stronger sense of confidence and cohesion in both flavor and concept. Pictured below: Fried Green Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs, Bread Pudding w/Apples. I may (eh...) give it another chance, but as it stands, the experience felt more curated than soulful. First time here and was impressed with the place. I like the way they use the space... a really nice bar, tables inside and a few different outside spaces. Wanted to have a couple of drinks before seeing the Rolling Stones movie at the IMAX next door, so it was a perfect spot. It was Happy Hour at the bar, until 7pm, so ordered a few food items from the HH menu. Smoked BBQ Egg Rolls w/Slow Roasted Pulled Pork and Short Rib... Pulled Pork Sliders, Brisket Sliders, and an order of Sweet Wings. They were all ok, but next time I'm here, I'll order off the regular menu. Danya, behind the bar,, was great... attentive and personable, as was other staff who came out from the kitchen with the food.

We love the hospitality at Batch. The wait staff is friendly and the food was yummy. We started with the burnt ends as an appetizer. They were crunchy and flavorful. For my main I ordered the Bourbon Maple Salmon with the broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Before our meals came out the manager came over and said they're recooking my salmon as it was not up to their standards. I didn't even ask. I thought that was great and didn't even notice with the timing. My husband ordered the mac attack with fried chicken and enjoyed it. For drinks I ordered the campfire espresso martini and my husband got a beer. My martini was pretty and the torched marshmallow was a nice touch, but i don't think espresso martinis are for me as this was my second one ever and it's just bitter to me. We also ordered a slice of the Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Tart. It was to die for! So yummy!

I have eaten here for four years. Easy location, good choice of meal selections and excellent wait staff. Sadly the kitchen has gone down. How is it that a large meal warrants a quarter size ketchup and no good tomatoes on a basic hamburger? This place should be packed on location alone. If they improved the overall quality it would be worth a second try.

What a fantastic spot! I was so impressed with Batch Scratch Kitchen -- it's the perfect place for everything from happy hour to corporate events, or just a great night out with family. We loved the outdoor seating, and there was even live entertainment and a whiskey tasting going on while we were there -- such a fun bonus! The menu is full of fresh, made-to-order options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I had the salmon kale salad (so fresh and flavorful) and the deviled eggs, which were perfectly done. My mom went for the fried green tomatoes with creamy grits and the Cobb salad with salmon-- and we were both satisfied. The tomatoes were crispy and flavorful, and those grits were next-level creamy. My daughter had the chicken tenders with fries, and they were clearly made fresh. Portions are generous -- we ended up taking leftovers home because we just couldn't finish it all. Between the great service, vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food, I'm already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! Batch Scratch Kitchen is a must-visit in West Delray.

Went for happy hour with friends on Friday night. Loved the new addition to Delray Marketplace. Our drinks were great!! I tried the Toasted Pineapple Mai Tai and my husband the Classic Old Fashion. We ordered a side of truffle fries to start which were tasty. I ordered the Mac Attack which everyone at our table sampled and loved. Overall great restaurant. I would like to see happy hour served in restaurant area and not just the Bar. read more

This place is fantastic. I had the Mac Attack which is gnocchi in a decadent cheese sauce. It was baked so there was also thick layer of cheese on top with Doritos dust sprinkled on top of that. I also, had the Classic Old Fashioned, made perfectly and came with an infused cherry made in house that was phenomenal. Definitely would go back. read more

I love open bars, they are so inviting. Excellent drinks. Really fantastic service. The bartenders and food servers can't do enough for you, and this is what a bar-restaurant is really all about. They have lots of micro-brews on tap. Happy hour has great prices, I'll be back. Fantastic place to bring your date, lots of parking nearby. Place is clean, spotless, a pleasure. read more

Living so close to the marketplace i was really excited to have a new restaurant opening up. i expected this to be a really great place to go for a quick bite to eat and grab a drink after work but i find myself skipping this restaurant more often than not. I will give it that it has really good energy when you come in to the restaurant with great music and a very upbeat atmosphere. They don't open until 4 though which is a bit of a turn off for me. living in west delray, there aren't too many great lunch options very close by, so having another lunch spot in the area definitely Our favorite server is Leslie. She does a great job every time! Other servers that we have had haven't been the most attentive. i stopped in here with a group of coworkers one night after work and one of us was given wine in a dirty glass, the other had a glass of budlite that she said tasted "old". When they brought both things up to the server she just kind of rolled it off as something that happens pretty often. The food takes longer than you would hope but they do make everything from scratch so i'm sure that plays a role in their ticket times. The craft menu has a lot to offer with fresh ingredients and scratch cocktails. The drinks were a little expensive though. they do have a happy hour but it isn't anything to write home about. My boyfriend really likes their whiskey sour and i alternate between their blueberry basil jito and the 305 collins, both are really good. the flavor of their cocktails are the only reason we return. although, the food that we have tried has been pretty good as well. all the times that we have gone, we have ordered the pretzel bites with blue moon beer cheese which is our go to for a bar bite. the cheese has a really rich flavor and the pretzels are really fluffy and not too salty. We also have tried a couple of their flatbreads which are also pretty good. We have never gone for a full dinner or their brunch solely due to their high priced menu. it's very easy for 2 people to go in for a meal and a couple of drinks and walk out spending over $140. read more

Really great to see a restaurant truly dedicated to making the customer feel welcomed. Had a late lunch of watching some golf on TV and eating their delicious buffalo chicken nachos. Very positive vibe--great attitude from the server and manager came up and asked me if all was well. Manager seemed to be spreading positive vibes all around. Everyone working in the restaurant was friendly and positive which is an added bonus when eating a great meal. Highly recommend for the food and environment! read more

Last night we ate at the new Batch Gastro pub in the Delray marketplace. The food is pretty good. The kitchen and the management, however...not so much! I have a legit dairy allergy. Specifically to the Casein protein in cheese, milk, and cream. When I am exposed to it I get crazy allergy symptoms and inflammation in my joints, as well as some gastrointestinal distress. One exposure can cause WEEKS of these symptoms before they subside. Whenever I eat out I explain to the server in great detail that I cannot have any gluten or dairy in my food. Sometimes they mess it up. It is what it is. I understand it happens and that's the risk of eating out. BUT...EVERY TIME that's ever happened with me at any other restaurant, management apologized profusely, comps my entire meal (sometimes m whole tables meal!) and promises to do better the next time. Not so, here. I called over the manager, showed him that there was cheese hidden under the toppings of my burger that I had almost completely eaten already. He apologized while LAUGHING when I told him I was going to have a few very bad nights BC of this error. Then, he comped me for half the price of my burger. Not sure if I'll come back to this place. I'm only saying that I'm not sure BC the freaking burger was delicious! Lol But I hate giving my money to a-holes like this! Damn you, burger! I have no idea what the manager's name was. He was a portly guy, blonde'ish/brown hair. I actually hate writing negative reviews on local businesses and I rarely do it. It pains me to write this. But I even gave him a chance to right his wrong. When the server (who was terrific btw) came back to get my credit card to pay I told her that I found it deplorable that he didn't comp my entire burger. She went back to him to explain I wasn't happy. He did not care and didn't change the bill. So he is the reason I'm writing this review. If it were my establishment and we did that to someone who had a dairy allergy I'd have comped the meal and offered a comp desert, or a comped drink/coffee. SOMETHING. Terrible business decision to handle this the way he did. Food allergies are a very serious thing. And I'm paying for that exposure all morning already! Also, this is the second time we have eaten there. The first time, it took over 40 minutes for our food to come. The server knew it was ridiculous and kept apologizing to us. They did nothing for us on the bill that time either but we chalked it up to them being a new restaurant and "getting the kinks out" in the kitchen. So we let it slide. But after this experience I now see their philosophy on customer service and it's not a good one. Boca/Delray boasts a very discerning crowd. They won't continue to get away with that type of customer service for very long no matter how good their food is. With all of that said, if management contacts me to remedy this situation somehow I will happily change my review to reflect that! read more

I went with my wife for happy hour on June 22, about two weeks after it opened. Had a great time. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the half price cocktails and wine. I had a Moscow Mule with house made ginger beer and my wife had a Basil Jito (think mojito), and both were excellent. Many of their mixers are made in-house, including root beer soda. We shared a happy hour Margherita Flatbread which was very good. I also had a Brisket Burger with cheese and bacon, ordered medium and perfectly cooked. We had a side of Brussel Sprouts & Bacon, again excellent. Be aware that the sandwiches and burgers come with french fries even they are not mentioned on the menu. We will definitely be back again. It is located in the Delray Marketplace. read more

Stopped in for the Mac attack which is a gnocchi and cheese ( aged gruyere). You can add toppings I added wild mushrooms and roasted corn. Omg. Amazing. My partner had carmelized onions and pecan whiskey bacon which was equally amazing. This place has all food delivered daily. They only have a small freezer for their French fries everything else is fresh. You must try their handcrafted drinks I had a entourage which is made with grilled pineapple and infused with jalapeño and guava. Amazing I highly recommend this drink. My partner had a Moscow mule. Equally amazing. Lori our waitress was amazing very knowledgeable about every item on the menu and about the cocktails. Kevin one of the owners was very gracious host. Please run don't walk to Batch and enjoy a wonderful meal!!! read more

First time brunch at batch. Great find, wonderful food, Started with avocado toast, was different but very good! Next up was Cuban Benedict, all I can say is yummy, this kitchen def ones how to perfectly cooked poached eggs, which is rare these days! Just an amazing place. Fun atmosphere and very friendly staff! Clint the manager was super nice and our waitress Brooke was very accommodating. I had the mushroom risotto with grilled chicken and it was awesome!! My husband had the short rib which had spicy delicious sauce. They make their own root beer on site which was a crowd pleaser with our teenage girls. They even have a doggie menu which we all thought was adorable. We will definitely be back!! read more

First time here , moving to the area . Would I recommend this to you no . Burger was ordered Medium came out Rare . Eggs ordered M came out runny and nasty . The waiter came by only once , never asked us if we would like refills on drinks , how is the food?. Also no Jams or Jelly for brunch had to ask for S&P unbelievable service never ever again !! I saw the rave reviews here, so we decided to check it out. Glad we did, for it was delicious! Our server, Mika, was amazing- both friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and made sure we were enjoying what we had ordered throughout our meal. I ordered and highly recommend the Blackstrap Molasses Ginger Beer. For a meal we recommend the amazing Root beer BBQ Pulled Pork ( best pulled pork sandwich I ever had), the Brisket & Short Rib Burger and the Polynesian Grain Bowl. For dessert (you'll want to share) try the Colossal Whiskey Apple Cobbler! We will definitely be back! read more

$22.00 burger . . . I could get something more enjoyable from Mc.Donalds. Get your "act" together for that price. Delivery of slightly warm dog food. MJ already got my phone review. Forgotten silverware (plasticware) and order showed up hardly warm. At least the Mac n cheese was still hot. You need to add a picture of your tots to Uber Eats. Also, let MJ know, she should hang up the phone before she says 'Wow'. Plethora of other problems. Maybe not all your fault, but seeing as I can't call Uber eats, you get the full extent. Uber eats charges $22.00 for that burger you sent me. I'll give you that the bacon wasn't 'undercooked', but it was hardly crispy. If I wanted a quarter pounder hash brown tot, Id have gone to McDonald's. At least maybe then they would be crispy. No options to edit the burger, besides my comments. Out of ketchup . . . Glad my burger came with fries. Wish I had known, I wouldn't have ordered the ridiculous tots. I've got more to say, buts it's 1:15AM and I've only had a few fingerfuls of Mac n cheese. read more

So I've always love east Delray, but if you west close to the turnpike there is this great area fill with lots of shops, restaurants and a really nice movie teather, but my favor find here will have to be Batch. It is a fun, upscale version of a sports bar without it being too over the top. The atmosphere is great and it's even more enhanced by the awesome service and the amazing food. They have a great selection of beers, spirits and mix cocktails to include tap drinks which by the way I'm never too fun of but these were just dynamite. The food was just wonderful, everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Rich flavors, fresh ingredients, perfect combinations to achieve great meals. Love love love this place. read more

Happened upon this spot coming from the movies a week ago and it was a delicious little find. The flatbreads are flavorful and crunchy and the boneless wings are tasty. Came back and tried dessert and the stout soaked bread pudding served warm is yummy. I look forward to trying more items on the menu!! read more

Well me and my girlfriend decided we go some where nice so she found this place.of course I doubt her off the bat just how I am with her .... restaurant choices. We get there with a reservation we decide to sit outside ... we linger outside with the humidity and the flies ten minutes. Go inside decide we wanna try our luck...4 minuets go by that feel like and hour .. order we just miss happy hour.. I say this fuming bullshit. Begin to get up .. waiter stops me ask if I wanna see a manger .. angered I say yes.. he comes back 20 seconds later will honor happy hour is that fine? Stopped for a late lunch or early dinner depending on how you look at it. They have an early bird special and for $18.95 I enjoyed a glass of house wine, deviled eggs, and steak salad. Nice interior with live music and great service. All was excellent... I'm coming back soon. read more

It's nice to see new exciting places in Palm Beach County, Florida. Not the best Old Fashion in Delray beach, but it was still pretty good. The mac and cheese was really good also, the cheese sauce had a nice kick to it. I'll definitely spend more time here. read more

Great place to hang & drink. Pecan bourbon second to none(thanks Megan). Couldn't tell you about the food because after waiting for only 30 minutes for our table whilst watching empty tables that they allege are "reserved", we were assigned a table that you can only eat at if you have T-Rex arms. Message to management: hire staff that understands the importance of turning tables, NOT just creating the illusion of the joint being a "hot spot". Newsflash; it's not. Came here with my family for Christmas dinner the restaurant was packed; but service didn't miss a beat. Our Server was so wonderful and informative. Batch makes their own cocktails and smoked their own meats and cheeses. It was our first time here and we will be returning. I personally had the Mac Attack which is a gnocchi pasta with a rich cheese and spicy dorito dust topping. I added steak which came out a perfect medium rare and added so much flavor to my meal. They defiantly made our Christmas dinner a great experience. read more

I understand it's the holiday season, however simply asking if we could have a table for four seemed like too much for them to handle. The two girls at the front very rudely told us they're only taking reservations today. Great restaurant! The location is perfectly nestled in a shopping plaza. We enjoyed every single item we ordered. It was pretty packed opening night, but we found couple of seats at the bar and was able to take advantage of their AMAZING happy hour. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope you take this as a friendly reminder that we want to eat here, we just don't want to boil outside.

Honestly, the food was worse than cruise ship food and the customer service is completely nonexistent. It was a huge waste of money and a ruined night. Save your cash and go literally anywhere else.

I previously wrote about their first Terroir Uncorked event, and a few weeks ago I returned for the second, celebrating Barcelona Wine Bar's 30th anniversary. Thirty wines were available to taste, paired with a wonderful selection of food. These events are a lot of fun, especially because they give you the opportunity to explore so many different wines from their list. Attendance is intentionally limited, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Both events sold out, so when the next one is announced... don't wait. Executive Chef Javier Narvaez and Executive Sous Chef Marc Beauplan prepared some terrific dishes throughout the evening. Highlights included a beautiful oversized Paella and an outstanding Salt-Crusted Salmon. Of course, I was equally happy grazing on the wonderful assortment of cheeses and Serrano ham earlier in the evening. I sampled around twenty of the thirty wines, and the staff at each tasting station did an excellent job explaining the wines and answering questions. I adore their gnocchi mac & cheese, like I order it at least once a week and cannot stay away from the deliciously tender gnocchi, the creamy flavorful cheese sauce that I literally lick off my plate, and the crunchy dorito crust. It is like the best meal you could ask for. But yesterday was a very sad day, I went to order two of their delicious gnocchi mac & cheese to go, and when we get home to eat them, I noticed that they look very different. I think to myself, well OK, they just changed how they roll them, but I think that they must be now buying their gnocchi frozen or something because it is nothing like it used to be. The gnocchi doesn't even taste like it has potato in it, it just taste like a bunch of gummy flour, it's not tender at all, the cheese sauce is completely different and bland as can be, and the Dorito crust was so stale that there's no way this could have been made in the past few days even. I am so so heartbroken and now the gnocchi's are both sitting in the fridge completely uneaten because they truly are inedible. I am unsure how I'm going to find my gnocchi fix because this is nothing like it used to be and just won't do. Sadness :-( read more

We recently visited Batch Restaurant, now rebranded as New Southern Kitchen & Tap, to celebrate my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The staff truly went above and beyond, surprising us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and thoughtfully curated goodie boxes, making the evening feel even more special. The dinner itself was spectacular, with each dish perfectly crafted, and the flights of their in-house small-batch whiskey were a standout. The attention to detail in both service and flavor made the night unforgettable. We were also happy to find that Batch still has the same cozy ambiance we've always loved but with a few thoughtful updates. The booths are even more comfortable now, the tables have been beautifully redone, and the décor has been refreshed. I enjoyed my visit to Batch Gastropub. It's got a great vibe, with fun classic rock playing in the background and excellent service. The vibe is a bit more enticing than the food, however. While I enjoyed the appetizers a lot (i ordered the tater skins which comes with cheddar, chorizo, and sour cream), the main course (tuna poke bowl with spicy may and cucumber) left something to be desired. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're after a place with great atmosphere, good music, and excellent service. But if what you're craving is a delicious meal, perhaps look elsewhere. read more

I went to Batch with my wife and dad. I have to say I was not impress. We ordered the Buffalo chicken nachos that came cold. My wife ordered a drink that took forever to come. The food runner spilled the drink in the whole table and they try to charge us for two drink even though they spilled the drink. I ordered the Mac attack with fried chicken which was cold and dry. My dad ordered the ribs that were small and dry. The waitress never came to check on the table. Overall the place is overpriced and bad customer service. I'm so glad we found this place, we came for brunch and the menu had a nice variety. The burger was one of the best, if not the best, burger we have tried. It was so tender and delicious, made with brisket. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was flavorful, fresh, and extremely satisfying. They care about whether we like the drink or food served and are always willing to make a change. They are able to accommodate changes to the items - to make something dairy free, for example - but there's just not a lot of options and almost nothing for vegetarian/vegan.
