They simple let way too many people inside at the same time and NOBODY there is keeping track and organizing how many people are allowed inside. There are many other Baskin Robbins locations closer to us. However we drive to this location because it still has a true ice cream parlor feel. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. During our recent visit, we noticed that the staff seemed to be new. However the new employees did not miss a beat, the service was fantastic as usual and with a smile. Bright and friendly store and they always have a great variety of favors! The scoops could be a little bigger though! I order all of my cakes from here (although i live closer to the Monrovia store, but they have consistently been incapable of making the cake I want!) The cakes are always beautiful! They also have a huge freezer with ready to go cakes available all the time! I'm so happy this Baskin Robbins opens earlier than all the other ones in the surrounding area. Every other stores open at 11am while this one opens at 10am. It's also the biggest, nicest and cleanest store around. The store is a little hard to find unless you know where to look. It's in the same plaza as the Ralph's on Foothill. The store is big and looks nice and new. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors, huge cases of over 50 ice cream cakes, mini cones, ice cream cake bars, frozen chocolate dipped bananas and tons of other items. The best part is the service. The employees are all so nice and helpful. I went in to get a bunch of gift cards for my work last time and they were so helpful. I was able to get in and out in about 5 minutes. Right now they have these turkey ice cream cakes. It looks kind of freaky but some old guys were ordering one for thanksgiving and getting a huge kick out of it. I guess it would be funny to serve it at the thanksgiving table. read more

If you are looking for a cool treat, stop by this baskin robbins. It used to be the hang out spot after going to the movies at the Pacific Hastings. Since my time, it has gone through some colorful remodeling. The lighting is better. The design inside is more appealing and modern. And, the ice cream is still as good and as consistent as ever. Plus, it's quite popular. Whenever I've gone there is a line, but they do their best to keep the line moving to keep their customers happy. I think because of the other ice cream competitors, they have expanded their menu to include new sundaes - the Tiramisu sundae is quite tasty. My favorites back in the day were Daiquiri Ice, Cookie 'n Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Gold Medal Ribbon. These flavors are still around. Actually if you don't see one of the classics in the front displays, don't despair because they have another freezer located at the left back. See if you can find your flavor there. I went to the back to see their choices and the girl behind the counter immediately acknowledged me and ask if I needed help. I went to another location before coming here, and wow, what a difference! Whoever owns this particular franchise has way more creative people making the cakes here. There was a much bigger selection, and on top of that the person manning the counter was very accommodating when I was asking about the cakes. Being a franchise that doesn't even cook or prepare their food beyond blending and topping-scooping, no matter which location you go the stuff is gonna taste the same, so it's hard to stand out. I come here very often with my family and every time has been a great experience but last night was a first... I ordered my layered Sundae and in the middle of pumping the marshmallow topping the dude literally and I mean LITERALLY started digging for treasure in his ear with one finger and continued to make my sundae.. he stopped, looked at his finger, stuck it in there again and took it out and looked around to see if anyone was paying attention and continued... This BR location is my go-to even though there are stores closer to me. The store is well maintained and clean appearing. I have a son with nut allergies and they take it seriously when I inform them upon ordering. My recent experience was amazing... Very friendly and fast service at this location. Parking is pretty easy. Lots of parking outside. This location is a bit hidden inside the plaza. It's right across of Subway.
