We always shop at the Trader Joe's next door and decided to treat ourselves to some Baskin after today's crazy work day. We got a small cookies n cream cake to take home to satisfy our craving and I also got a small cappuccino blast which I haven't had since I was a kid! My mom and I always used to get it and it really brought back memories. Deliciously made and the workers were friendly. I was craving a milkshake, and one of the things I love about Baskin Robbins is that they can turn any of their ice cream flavors into a milkshake. One of my favorite flavors is chocolate fudge, and I must say it is AMAZING in milkshake form. This location has tables indoors if you prefer to enjoy your treats there. I took my wife here after we celebrated our 2 years wedding anniversary at a restaurant nearby. I also wanted to use our T-Mobile Tuesday coupon so it was just the perfect day. I found parking easily since I came at night and most of the other stores already closed. This Baskin Robbins had a line, I think other people were using their coupon as well. When it was our turn to order I got the chocolate chip in a cone and my wife got her rocky road in a cone. When it was time to pay, I wanted to use the QR code from T-Mobile but they said family night single code discount was already applied so I couldn't use it. Bad customer service! Came in to get 3 quarts of Rocky road . They had 0 left told me to come back tomorrow or Tuesday when they get more. Btw the refrigerator was empty maybe 5 prepackage ice cream left . When I asked them if they can sale me one quart at price of prepackaged one since they are out they told me NO! And ones again to come back another day. Not sure what happened to customer service. If you are out of something you should try to accommodate your customer. Especially when The manager knows me . Baskin-Robbins isn't a fancy pants 10 dollar a cone hipster paradise, just a good old fashioned ice cream shop. My lady friend loves their ice cream cakes- and they actually have cake in them!- so we end up getting those pretty frequently for special events... or events..or Tuesdays. Personally I'm a milkshake fan-anything that allows me to eat without chewing- and that is generally what I get here. They actually make a pretty thick shake, none of that runny nonsense, and if you get a flavor like snickers you end up with a decent amount of candy crunch. It can often times be busy/there can be a line which is the worst- I'm here to drink 5 lbs of ice cream not to mix with the unwashed masses of deploreables- but there isn't much you can do about that. read more
