This store was close to us after leaving Northridge mall so it worked out. We found parking just fine in the small plaza it's in. When we walked inside, they had 1 family inside. My wife got her rocky road ice cream in a cone and I got the oreo ice cream in a cone. We ate our ice cream inside and it was relaxing. We both enjoyed our ice cream and I like some of their cakes that they had. The employee working tonight was polite and friendly with us. Solid place to get ice cream in the area! I came here on a Monday night around 8:30 PM. This was one of the few ice cream places in the area that didn't close at 9 PM but stayed open until 10 PM (great!). When we arrived, it was busy - there were six people in line ahead of us. I grew up eating Baskin-Robbins and decided to go with their decadent chocolate flavor (pictured below). It was pretty good! While I've had ice cream that I liked more elsewhere (such as Wanderlust and Salt & Straw), I have to say Baskin-Robbins is still a solid 3/5. I don't necessarily crave Baskin-Robbins, but if I'm in the mood for ice cream and in the area, yes, I will come back again! The staff was pleasant, providing standard service, nothing out of the ordinary. The seating area is small, which would normally be fine during the colder months, but now that it's summer, it's too cramped to eat inside, so we ended up eating in the car instead, haha. They only allow you ONE ice cream sample, and force you to buy bottle water if you want a cup of water because they claim to not have water.

the ice cream itself is good--but if you ask for it in a cone, they just place a scoop directly on top of it, so the cone itself is completely empty. even if you order two scoops, they place two scoops directly on top of the cone, being very careful that the cone doesn't get filled. maybe they are worried about breaking the cone? anyway, it made me stop coming here because dry cone with no ice cream inside isn't good. handels always fills the cone and is not far-- it is on corbin street next to the target. i recommend going there if you don't want an empty cone. read more

However the gentleman I spoke on the phone with was so kind and easy to work with, not only did he give me large cake flavor options, but also options to customize it. I went with the Oreo ice cream and chocolate cake, with pink frosting. He even had me text the design I wanted and made it on the spot! I accidentally placed the order on the wrong pick up date, I'm aware that it was their fault and not mine however I called them as soon as I realized my mistake (5 minutes TOPS). It was 11 in the morning and I was not getting an answer, I wasn't too mad because I was aware that it was early and the employees could be busy opening up the shop. * Spoiler alert: THEY WERE NOT* Since the store was less than 5 mins from me I decided to go to the store at 12:30 to try and see if my problem could be resolved since they sell the cake I had ordered online regularly to those who walk in. As I said, it was 12:30 and these people had not opened up the shop although their business hours are 11:00 AM- 10:00 PM. I called multiple times and got no answer. I ended up leaving and buying a cake elsewhere. Ive called various times since yesterday afternoon and have not gotten my issue resolved. On one occasion where I did get an answer, a lady told me to call back in 20 mins since her manager was the only one who could help me. I called back and she wasn't there anymore. A guy named Josh answered my call this time and told me that his manager was the only one with access to online orders, he noted my information and told me the manager would call back by the end of the day, he DIDNT.
