Visited this location on Saturday evening. It's located on the first floor of the mall, right next to Target. They were quite busy. Although the service was mediocre in that the cashiers were not friendly and actually seemed quite annoyed, the freshness of their Cinnabons make up for it. The mini Cinnabons had just come out of the oven so we ordered one order which includes 4 minis. They were warm and with just the right amount of frosting. Delicious. Can never go wrong with the Pecan Bun from here! Even the classic is delicious. Cinnabon is pure perfection and we definitely need to visit more often! I needed my coffee for the day and unfortunately all of their drink machines were empty? It was the afternoon so I'm not sure how or why they were empty. They also had a bunch of boxes laying around so maybe they were more focused on restocking other things than their drinks? No idea. I just had the weirdest experience & will never be returning. I showed I had a T-Mobile coupon & asked what I could order, placed my order & was rung up. I showed the coupon & she said, push "redeem". Then said to go to the Cinnabon website & sign up for an account. Then I had to download the Cinnabon app & fill out all my info again. I then handed her the app & she pressed "coupons" but nothing was there. She said enter the coupon code. I went back to the T-Mobile app, there was no code. So, I pressed "redeem" again. She said it is supposed to just show up on our app. So, I deleted the app & downloaded it again along with all my info & it still didn't show up. I said, it's obvious I have the coupon & downloaded the app. You will honor it right? She said No. I asked if there was a manager who could give her permission to honor the coupon. I have very mixed feelings about this location but I will give them the benefit & bump my review up half a star to 3 instead of rounding down. On a positive, the quality of food is great. Yes, Cinnabon are gut busters loaded with enough sugar to have your teeth chattering, but sometimes that's the type of instant boost you need after a busy day roaming the mall (or motivation to keep you doing a couple extra laps). They're also loaded with enough preservatives that, should you want, you can bring them home and even after a day or two, just zap them in the microwave for a few seconds and they'll taste as if they came right outta the oven at the kiosk. Now, here is the negative: the staff. You can tell they're all there for the paycheck & would rather do nothing than help you out. They're not necessarily rude, but they just don't care and don't have the best client interaction. Sometimes I don't mind as I just want to get my order & get on my way, but a smile from them isn't much or hard to do. Also, the last time I was here was a Saturday roughly around dinner time. We came by for dessert & was told that they were out of the regular cinnamon rolls. Our only options were the minis or the 'center only' premaid rolls. I get that it might have been busy, but a Cinnabon out of Cinnabons? How is that even possible? Not even a 'we're cooking more now.' Just a 'we're sold out for the day.' We ended up getting 2 minis for the price of 1 regular as a 'we're sorry' but come on. That's like a theatre being out of popcorn. It just shouldn't happen. I LOVE Cinnabon-and when I was at the mall with my daughters yesterday shopping, I was so excited to look down from the second floor to see it while waiting outside of Charlotte! I was fascinated to watch the workers start from scratch to prepare those delicious buns....only to watch in horror as: 1) The man working the cash register/handling money was ALSO - without washing his hands or putting on gloves...handling food...yuck...but THEN I watched as 2) ANOTHER worker who was sweeping, mopping the floor and putting hands on, and into the trash cans...and then dumping the filthy water into a drain with bar hands...so I held my breath watching/hoping he would wash his hands before moving on...and was ALMOST relieved when he turned on the sink...but then- DID NOT USE SOAP, and literally ran his hands under the water-did not even attempt to 'wash' them. He THEN proceeded to walk over to the bowl of white frosting-and handle it, mix it, and put it into small cups. All without ever washing his hands. Since this happened out in the open, without even a consideration for anyone seeing it-that means that these employees have NO IDEA about how important it is to properly wash hands after handling filthy items-or to even wear gloves. I can complain when coming here. They have the best cinnamon rolls of all time. Just make sure to get it heated up. Just like McDonald's fries, it tastes best fresh. However microwaved worked perfectly fine for me lol. I always get extra cream cheese icing. Seemed less cream cheesey than I remembered but still worked perfectly on the roll. My husband went to buy Cinnabon at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills and Fatima , the store "manager" was pushing day old Cinnabons on him and when he asked for fresh ones she said he had to wait. She started to sell the fresh ones to other people in line completely ignoring the fact that my husband was there first. When he asked what the problem was she said that the fresh ones were more expensive which we already knew and he told her he didn't care to just charge him and give him the Cinnabons. I got a Cinnabon the other week but what was really nice was ellie or emmi I'm unclear about her name, but she was a delight to talk to while my minis were being warmed up! She gave us a recommendation to download the app but it didn't sound like a sales pitch, she made me feel like she was really interested in saving us time and money with the deals. My mom got charged $32 and when she asked for the refund she got bad attitude from one of the workers.
