Solid 3.5 Pinkberry has the best original tart flavor. This is always my go to option. I find the other frozen yogurt shops too sweet, but this tart flavor just has the perfect balance of tart and sweetness. There are so few pinkberrys now compared to when they first started, so when I do find one. I try to make time to go in. BUT it's not surprising they have closed so many locations - price compared to size and topping portions just doesn't do it justice. Plus they always seem to run out of toppings. First, it's absolutely bonkers that a small cup costs $9. What more can I say other than it feels like a rip off for what you get compared to other froyo spots. I'm going to pay $9 for a small but I can't even try a sample first?! Second, this particular location has an unusual amount of negative signage for some reason: no samples as mentioned, no bathroom, no bills over $20, no unsupervised children, the right to refuse service, etc. Basically the decor is negative signage. But the bathroom sign is particularly egregious-- it depicts silhouettes of Pinkberry customers "holding it in" as if in mockery. When we entered there was a naked unhoused person just outside screaming at us. Overall unpleasant experience. Will go to Tutti Frutti, Yogurtland, or Menchies instead. read more

I used to really enjoy going to Pinkberry with my family, but my recent visit was pretty disappointing. Prices have gotten ridiculous, and what's advertised on their menu doesn't match what they actually offer. For example, the menu shows two drink sizes -- regular and large -- but when I ordered, the employee said they only have one size and didn't clarify which one it was. It looked like a regular size to me, but I just found it odd that she couldn't specify. What really got me, though, was their "two-fruit only" rule. Their mixed berry drink is advertised as having strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, yet I was told I could only choose two. Even when I pointed out that the menu lists three, the employee still refused to add the third fruit. To top it off, they charged nearly $2 for a small addition of almonds -- which, let's be honest, is probably at least a 300% markup (and that's being conservative). Honestly, first world problems -- but it makes me think companies like this are starting to lose touch. I enjoyed the drink, but I don't see myself going back.(obviously not her fault but the owner that is telling her what to do) The place itself was also messy, had loud, obnoxious music, and just felt unkempt overall. Awful service. The Latina lady who was working late today was horrible. As soon as we walked in, "um no one can stay in take out only" but in such a rude manner. I ordered plain tart yogurt and most of the toppings were gone. I asked for cookie dough she said "well I close soon so I don't want to go to the back". The guy that was working the other day said there's cookie dough underneath the trays right where she was standing. I am really upset because I've been going to this Pinkberry for years since it open I remember and I bought threyogurt, three medium yogurt I mean the girl that was helping before took forever and I guess the other guy went on his break. I asked them for a cup of water cause I really needed it. I have a health condition that I have to have water and it's been super hot and I was denied the water. I don't know why this location has a lot of bad reviews. This is my favorite location in the San Fernando Valley. They always have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. The yogurt selection isn't the biggest, but the selection that is there works perfectly. The employees are usually nice and helpful at this location. There is plenty of parking as well. read more

A new apple flavor which was magnificent. I wasn't too fond of the mango. And I went with my original tart. Topped it off with fresh strawberries, almonds and boba poppers. I chose to take it to go but there is seating inside. I love the cute hanging light drops. I would visit here more frequently but it's just a little distance from where I live. Tasted so artificial, I couldn't even eat it. They also got extremely stingy with their toppings. I wanted extra toppings and even offered to pay for it, the employee wouldn't allow me to add extra toppings. He was insistent I could only have 3 with a small. It used to be 4 with a small. Why can't I pay for extra toppings??? As for the toppings that are included, they literally put less than a 1/4 of a teaspoon. Totally not worth the money. I will never be back. read more

I'm a regular customer. I always order the same thing, that is, a large original flavor with the usual five toppings 2-3 x's per week; the cup costs 11 dollars. I stopped in to this Pinkberry to use the bathroom and get a delish FroYo. Lo and behold, there's a HUGE yellow sign on the bathroom door saying "no public restrooms." I asked to be sure and the snarky employee just shrugged her shoulders and said "no." I went next door to the Fivve Guys for relief. Despite my disappointment with Pinkberry, I now had developed a taste for some frozen yogurt so I decided to go back and get something. Once in-store, it took forever for the sole staff person to serve me. She saw me waiting but went about her business in the back until she finally decided to deign to help me, the only customer in the store. As I waited around, I noticed signs everywhere basically yelling at the clientele. "No bills over $20." "You are on camera." "We are not giving out samples at this time." "Control yor kids." "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason." "Not responsible if the furniture outside injures you (????!!!)." And that's just a sample of the ridiculous number of signs in this sad froyo shop. Did the owner decde signs were cheaper than wallpaper?! I asked the woman who was serving my frozen yogurt whether there was a lot of crime or trouble in this location or something, prompted by the ridonkulous number of signs. She just nodded her head yes and smirked. I found it rather hard to believe that there would be any trouble on the mean streets of Northridge, LOL. I asked for details and she just stared at me. Once I got my 10-buck small yogurt ($1.50 for extra toppings), I asked for a napkin, since there were none available for customers to grab. The customer service I received today was absolutely demeaning and disrespectful. No one was even there at first. But I can't help but think that there is some other reason why the employee, Veronica, did not believe that I had a birthday reward on my account which was the real issue. I couldn't access my account, so I gave her my account number via Pinkberry, which sent me an email in real-time in front of her. She did not believe that. I've used that account number to reset my account via email and log in before, and I showed her the birthday reward, but she did not honor it because she said she needed the account number. Even though I showed her the barcode with the same exact account number that was given to me in the email, she insisted it was incorrect. The Hispanic guy with glasses gave me a a small serving of granola. I asked for a little more and he pointed to the sign of pricing. $1.50. What a bummer. He hardly gave me a serving. Another employee ran my card several times. I did not understand what was happening. The Santa Monica location run your card when you purchase to earn points. It's routine. Pinkberry is one of my favorite frozen yogurt spots, i just feel their froyo doesn't taste watered down. Its rich and flavorful, my go to flavor is the pomegranate one, sometimes i opt for the chocolate one it really depends on my mood lol and the toppings im wanting. Its price is def on higher end but for its taste I justify it to myself lol. This location was kinda off I couldn't figure out how to get to the parking lot because its right by Costco and theres large amount of cars in line around the area trying to get Costco gas, so it took me a while to figure out where to park and then walk to get to this location. Felt like a hassle. Once you get there there is seating available inside and outside. I cant remember how the customer service was but I think that in itself should say something about that lol. Frozen yogurt is great, it's the service that's terrible. It seems like the owner of this location does everything in their power to save money. 1.) there is always ONE employee. This is terrible as not only does this poor employee have to help in store customers, but online orders as well. There has been more than 10 times where I've come here and the employee is struggling to upkeep with customers, weekend and weekdays. 2.) the store js always hot. does the owner not want to turn on the air conditioning to save money? by the time im paying for my frozen yogurt, its already halfway melted. 3.) the size and topping ratio makes no sense. sometimes a certain employee allows three toppings for a size small, and other times they allow four. Also, on National frozen yogurt day, Pinkberry sent out an email for a buy one get one free yogurt from 2/04-2/06. When I asked the employee on 2/4 about it, she was hesitant and asked to see my pinkberry app after taking my phone number. I don't understand whats going on with this business, or this particular location, but there's a lot to improve on, and it's clear the owner tries to cut corners. Not to mention how damn expensive the yogurt is. I got four smalls with no additional/special toppings and spent thirty dollars. I'll have to stop coming here. read more

I am so UPSET. I ordered 3 frozen yogurts for DELIVERY through the Pinkberry site and paid $1.50 for milk chocolate crunch and $1.50 dark chocolate crisps for each yogurt. Pinkberry Northridge has the nerve to deliver the 3 yogurts with NO TOPPINGS and write on the back of the receipt they have no toppings but they STILL CHARGED ME $7.50 for the toppings. TAKE A LOOK, I included their handwritten note they wrote on the back of the receipt and I circled the charges. Wow, I mean at least call me and ask me if I would like an alternative topping. In addition, don't charge for the toppings if you don't have them. So I got 3 frozen yogurts with no toppings delivered but was charged for toppings - milk chocolate crunch and dark chocolate crisps - But they were supposedly out. I tried calling the store and voicemail is full and does not take messages. Huge disappointment so I actually called corporate to share this experience. Out of principal, not because I care about $7.50. I am even more appalled after hearing back from Rosa, the Pinkberry general manager at corporate. She never took the time to read and do the math for the 5 toppings I was charged but did not receive. 5 toppings x $1.50 = $7.50 not $3 which is all she offered. I guess the corporate office is just as poorly run as the Northridge Pinkberry. Terrible service. I love Pinkberry, but this store has the worst service out of all the ones I've been to. I came in on a Saturday at approx 12:20pm and there was 1 employee there, (Gwendolyn Guzman), who seemed to be draining the yogurt tanks. I understood, and was okay with this knowing the store just opened at 12pm. However, I am not okay with the fact that she didn't even look up to greet the customer. She looked up, and kind of gave a frustrated look. Maybe she was not too happy to have a customer at that time. As soon as she saw me, she immediately went back to what she was doing. She didn't even say anything like, "Hi, I'll be with you in one moment," she gave absolutely no acknowledgement whatsoever. Since I stood there waiting for her for a couple of minutes, I immediately observed she was touching the ladder she had out, and the tanks, with no gloves. Once she finished doing what she was doing, she asked what I would like, and again, wore no gloves as she was preparing my order. To top it all off, the store had a sign to only have 4 customers in at a time, and by the time she started ringing up my order, there were 6 - 8 people inside the store. The employee gave no direction whatsoever to anyone standing to please wait outside, or to please keep socially distant. I think in this climate of the covid-19, and a franchise as big as Pinkberry, there should be better service for the customer. I think a basic greeting to a paying customer, and wearing gloves to prepare food orders is something that should automatically be done. Regulating the occupancy should also be done to keep the customers as well as employees safe. I've also given my feedback to their corporate office. read more

And my kids want to use the restroom and the employee said they can't use the restroom it's not for public.
