Service is great! The person serving us was smiling and helpful. It's been awhile since I had been here so I needed the help. There are no samples available which is sad but I understand. Also, there is no public restroom. There are also some homeless people in the area. Parking is not too bad since there is a Costco and other businesses around. I like this place. My last visit to the store was the final straw and I will not return. We enter and there's literally no one there. We wait almost ten minutes until we start talking aloud and asking if anyone's there. This lady comes forward and begins taking our order but she hardly speaks any English so she doesn't understand us and we don't understand her. We pay and we leave. Separately, this location is awful. The building is not well maintained and has a constant stench of sewer encompassing all the units. It is so disgusting to be eating something with the constant aroma of sewage. We will never come back. read more

Solid 3.5 Pinkberry has the best original tart flavor. This is always my go to option. I find the other frozen yogurt shops too sweet, but this tart flavor just has the perfect balance of tart and sweetness. There are so few pinkberrys now compared to when they first started, so when I do find one. I try to make time to go in. BUT it's not surprising they have closed so many locations - price compared to size and topping portions just doesn't do it justice. Plus they always seem to run out of toppings. Anyway, original tart with fruit and mochi never disappoints. read more

This message is directed to the owner of this location. We were denied service because the owner does not allow any animals inside the restaurant, including service animals. Even though we were only ordering takeout, we were initially refused because of this policy. The employee got on the phone and said she needed to talk to the owner. The owner let them know to refuse the service. We stood our ground, and the employee, who had nothing to do with the situation, ultimately allowed us to place our order, provided that we did not remain inside. The owner needs to understand that a blanket "no animals" policy does not override the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are protected under federal law, and businesses open to the public generally cannot deny access or service because of a legitimate service animal. I am asking the owner to immediately review the ADA requirements, remove any signage or policy that unlawfully excludes service animals, and ensure employees are properly informed of their legal obligations. I am giving the owner five days to address this matter. If the policy is not corrected, I will file a complaint with the appropriate ADA enforcement authorities and contact Pinkberry corporate regarding this location. This is not about being difficult, it is about ensuring people with disabilities are not discriminated against and that the law is followed. RESPONDING TO OWNER: Please do not blame the employees. The employee got on the phone with you and even said, "I need to ask the owner." You were consulted and instructed them to refuse service. The employees were simply following the procedure you, as the owner, directed them to follow. They should not be blamed or put in the middle of this. Ultimately, the responsibility falls on you as the owner, so please take accountability rather than shifting the blame onto your employees. read more

I honestly have a toxic relationship with this Pinkberry. Every time I go, I'm shocked all over again by the prices--$7.75 for a small, and $8.50 if you want just three toppings. The service doesn't help either... the workers are so stingy with the toppings, it feels like they're rationing them out for survival. It's not even self-serve, so the workers are the ones rationing out your yogurt and toppings--and if they're having a bad day, trust me, you will pay for it. The only reason I keep coming back is because 1. Its 10 minutes away from me and 2. that addicting milk chocolate crunch (which, of course, costs an extra $1.75 for a tiny scoop). One time I even splurged on a large, and they still gave me just one sad little scoop. When I asked if I could get a bit more since I was paying nearly $20 for one cup of frozen yogurt, the worker flat-out said no. And yet... here I am, still coming back. read more

Overall my experience here is okay. The employees aren't mean or anything but lack enthusiasm and welcoming. As well as the price increasing and the small amount of toppings they add. And yes!! I know I could ask for more but it's an additional charge when I'm only getting less than a scoop per topping!! I'm giving this a 3 star however, because nothing can compare to the flavor of the froyo. I just adore the tart flavor it's delish and the reason I keep coming back anyways. read more

Let's face it, if you've been to any Pinkberry location, you already know what their product tastes like. This review is really about this specific location. First, it's absolutely bonkers that a small cup costs $9. What more can I say other than it feels like a rip off for what you get compared to other froyo spots. I'm going to pay $9 for a small but I can't even try a sample first?! Second, this particular location has an unusual amount of negative signage for some reason: no samples as mentioned, no bathroom, no bills over $20, no unsupervised children, the right to refuse service, etc. Basically the decor is negative signage. But the bathroom sign is particularly egregious-- it depicts silhouettes of Pinkberry customers "holding it in" as if in mockery. When we entered there was a naked unhoused person just outside screaming at us. Overall unpleasant experience. Will go to Tutti Frutti, Yogurtland, or Menchies instead. read more

Pinkberry - Medium: original yogurt with strawberries and Nutella crunch - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Northridge, California

I used to really enjoy going to Pinkberry with my family, but my recent visit was pretty disappointing. Prices have gotten ridiculous, and what's advertised on their menu doesn't match what they actually offer. For example, the menu shows two drink sizes -- regular and large -- but when I ordered, the employee said they only have one size and didn't clarify which one it was. It looked like a regular size to me, but I just found it odd that she couldn't specify. What really got me, though, was their "two-fruit only" rule. Their mixed berry drink is advertised as having strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, yet I was told I could only choose two. Even when I pointed out that the menu lists three, the employee still refused to add the third fruit. To top it off, they charged nearly $2 for a small addition of almonds -- which, let's be honest, is probably at least a 300% markup (and that's being conservative). Honestly, first world problems -- but it makes me think companies like this are starting to lose touch. I enjoyed the drink, but I don't see myself going back.(obviously not her fault but the owner that is telling her what to do) The place itself was also messy, had loud, obnoxious music, and just felt unkempt overall. I'll probably just make my own smoothie next time. Thanks for the fun times, Pinkberry -- it was great while it lasted. read more

I don't know why this location has a lot of bad reviews. This is my favorite location in the San Fernando Valley. They always have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. Awful service. The Latina lady who was working late today was horrible. As soon as we walked in, "um no one can stay in take out only" but in such a rude manner. I ordered plain tart yogurt and most of the toppings were gone. I asked for cookie dough she said "well I close soon so I don't want to go to the back". The guy that was working the other day said there's cookie dough underneath the trays right where she was standing. I don't know what her problem was but if she doesn't like her job either a) quit or b) she needs to be fired asap or at least receive some type of disciplinary action. read more

For new people it may be hard to find and it's less appealing. It was a cold night and there was no wait. I was helped and greeted immediately. I chose a mix. A new apple flavor which was magnificent. I wasn't too fond of the mango. And I went with my original tart. Topped it off with fresh strawberries, almonds and boba poppers. I chose to take it to go but there is seating inside. I love the cute hanging light drops. I would visit here more frequently but it's just a little distance from where I live. I miss coming in! Did you guys close? I was jonesing for a yogurt and found the place gone. So sad, hope that you simply moved locations.

Last time I was here, I gave them 5 stars because it was delicious. The reason I preferred Pinkberry over competitors is because Pinkberry didn't taste artificial. Today it was horrible. Tasted so artificial, I couldn't even eat it. They also got extremely stingy with their toppings. I wanted extra toppings and even offered to pay for it, the employee wouldn't allow me to add extra toppings. He was insistent I could only have 3 with a small. It used to be 4 with a small. Why can't I pay for extra toppings??? As for the toppings that are included, they literally put less than a 1/4 of a teaspoon. Totally not worth the money. I will never be back. read more

I'm a regular customer. I always order the same thing, that is, a large original flavor with the usual five toppings 2-3 x's per week; the cup costs 11 dollars. I'm telling you I PERSISTENTLY ask and remind the employees, before they serve me the yogurt, to fill in the gap that they purposely choose to leave empty, due to "weight/scale issues". Nelly, who served me today 08/1/24 assured me with a nod that, yes, she had listed to me and would fill in the gap. But before I left I dipped my spoon in and "surprise, surprise" there it was. What a scam! I, like all of you, pay good money for a FULL cup of yogurt; NOT for a gap. I love the yogurt but the service is simply unfair. Their technique is simple *sarcastic voice*: swirl the edges of the cup, leave a hole in the middle, and cover it with yogurt! That way, customers will have less toppings to choose from and still be charged a $1.50 for a spoon more, how great is this! :D Congratu-f***in-lations Pink Berry you're truly outdoing yourself. Can't wait to blast this on Instagram. So, keep it up! or you'll end up being put on the spot like Chipotle. You cheapskates. read more

This place has really gone downhill. This used to be THE yogurt place and it was, dare I say boujie for being yogurt, paired with a $$$ hefty price tag for froyo. It's run down now and theres literally just handmade printed signs everywhere, "not responsible for injuries" "not responsible for injuries on outdoor furniture" "no bills over $20" "no bathrooms" etc etc. Employees just stood in back of house on their phones texting, last night she SAW me waiting, looked at me, finished her text, then came to help me. read more

I never been to prison, but this place felt like how I imagine prison to be. I was running errands and I really had to tap a kidney. I stopped in to this Pinkberry to use the bathroom and get a delish FroYo. Lo and behold, there's a HUGE yellow sign on the bathroom door saying "no public restrooms." I asked to be sure and the snarky employee just shrugged her shoulders and said "no." I went next door to the Fivve Guys for relief. Despite my disappointment with Pinkberry, I now had developed a taste for some frozen yogurt so I decided to go back and get something. Once in-store, it took forever for the sole staff person to serve me. She saw me waiting but went about her business in the back until she finally decided to deign to help me, the only customer in the store. As I waited around, I noticed signs everywhere basically yelling at the clientele. "No bills over $20." "You are on camera." "We are not giving out samples at this time." "Control yor kids." "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason." "Not responsible if the furniture outside injures you (????!!!)." And that's just a sample of the ridiculous number of signs in this sad froyo shop. Did the owner decde signs were cheaper than wallpaper?! I asked the woman who was serving my frozen yogurt whether there was a lot of crime or trouble in this location or something, prompted by the ridonkulous number of signs. She just nodded her head yes and smirked. I found it rather hard to believe that there would be any trouble on the mean streets of Northridge, LOL. I asked for details and she just stared at me. Once I got my 10-buck small yogurt ($1.50 for extra toppings), I asked for a napkin, since there were none available for customers to grab. The pitiful employee gave me A single, wafer-thin napkin that soaked through with one flimsy touch to my lips. That was the final straw that convinced me to go onto Yelp and warn other consumers. This place checks all the boxes for a lousy vendor. I will never darken the door of this Pinkberry again. read more

This location is not very good primarily due to poor customer service, but also because the lack of a public restroom, despite being a place that serves beverages and food. The customer service I received today was absolutely demeaning and disrespectful. No one was even there at first. But I can't help but think that there is some other reason why the employee, Veronica, did not believe that I had a birthday reward on my account which was the real issue. I couldn't access my account, so I gave her my account number via Pinkberry, which sent me an email in real-time in front of her. She did not believe that. I've used that account number to reset my account via email and log in before, and I showed her the birthday reward, but she did not honor it because she said she needed the account number. Even though I showed her the barcode with the same exact account number that was given to me in the email, she insisted it was incorrect. However, when she inputted that number, miraculously, it worked. And as soon as the number worked she slid the cup over aggressively and walked away back into the back room. read more

I've been coming to this location for 10+ years now since it's the closest one to me but at this point, I'm wondering how/why they are still open! It used to be so cute & busy but now it's so dead. Even the Pinkberry sign is barely noticeable so it's easy to miss! I visited them on a Thursday around 9 pm. FroYo 5/5 I've been getting the same flavor & toppings for as long as I can remember. The quality has remained the same throughout the years which is why I keep returning! This is my favorite froyo! Prices 3/5 Paying $9 for a medium sized cup with toppings is quite up there! One of us got the milk choc crunch which is $1.5 extra but we were both charged $9. The milk choc crunch used to be 50 cents extra a few years ago and it had remained that price for a long time so raising it 3x is a lot. Service 3.5/5 The gentleman who helped us shared that they are not offering samples at this time which was a bummer. When we asked for the milk choc crunch, he scooped the very last bit of what was left which wasn't even half a scoop and for $1.50 extra, I asked him to bring out a fresh batch and give us a full scoop! The girl at the cashier named Destiny was patient and helpful. She ensured she puts in my very long email so I can get my points. Overall 3.5/5 Regardless of the price & service, I'd still return to this location since it's the closest one and my fave froyo! read more

Well, if I did not have such bad customer service I would not find out that sucrose and maltodextrin, a deadly preservative, is used. Lol. On Montana St. in Santa Monica, a street with high end stores and shops, the marketing for Pink Berry is quality of yogurt. Dah! I thought the yogurt was high grade with probiotics to line gut and low fat milk to increase weight loss. I will not be going to Pinkberry ever again! I had been coming here once a week in Santa Monica. I order a small at the Santa Monica location, I can get four toppings there. Tonight I went to this location. The Hispanic guy with glasses gave me a a small serving of granola. I asked for a little more and he pointed to the sign of pricing. $1.50. What a bummer. He hardly gave me a serving. Instead of giving me a little more when I politely asked he pointed to sign of $1.50. I said, fine to avoid confrontation. A small yogurt is $8 dollars. I gave my Pink Berry card to earn points. Another employee ran my card several times. I did not understand what was happening. The Santa Monica location run your card when you purchase to earn points. It's routine. These two clowns turned it into a hostile exchange. I was just trying to get yogurt with my daughter and have a pleasant evening. My daughter, 9, did not like the guy. When I asked her to tell the guy her order she shared she felt shy and did not want to give him her order. She is psychic and read this guy before he opened his mouth. The two men looked at me and said you can't get a free yogurt. I never asked for a free yogurt. If this location would like to make money I'd hire friendly employees. Bad mojo here. Frozen yogurt is great, it's the service that's terrible. It seems like the owner of this location does everything in their power to save money. 1.) there is always ONE employee. This is terrible as not only does this poor employee have to help in store customers, but online orders as well. There has been more than 10 times where I've come here and the employee is struggling to upkeep with customers, weekend and weekdays. 2.) the store js always hot. does the owner not want to turn on the air conditioning to save money? by the time im paying for my frozen yogurt, its already halfway melted. 3.) the size and topping ratio makes no sense. sometimes a certain employee allows three toppings for a size small, and other times they allow four. Also, on National frozen yogurt day, Pinkberry sent out an email for a buy one get one free yogurt from 2/04-2/06. When I asked the employee on 2/4 about it, she was hesitant and asked to see my pinkberry app after taking my phone number. I don't understand whats going on with this business, or this particular location, but there's a lot to improve on, and it's clear the owner tries to cut corners. Not to mention how damn expensive the yogurt is. I got four smalls with no additional/special toppings and spent thirty dollars. I'll have to stop coming here. read more

I am so UPSET. I ordered 3 frozen yogurts for DELIVERY through the Pinkberry site and paid $1.50 for milk chocolate crunch and $1.50 dark chocolate crisps for each yogurt. Pinkberry Northridge has the nerve to deliver the 3 yogurts with NO TOPPINGS and write on the back of the receipt they have no toppings but they STILL CHARGED ME $7.50 for the toppings. TAKE A LOOK, I included their handwritten note they wrote on the back of the receipt and I circled the charges. Wow, I mean at least call me and ask me if I would like an alternative topping. In addition, don't charge for the toppings if you don't have them. So I got 3 frozen yogurts with no toppings delivered but was charged for toppings - milk chocolate crunch and dark chocolate crisps - But they were supposedly out. I tried calling the store and voicemail is full and does not take messages. Huge disappointment so I actually called corporate to share this experience. Out of principal, not because I care about $7.50. I am even more appalled after hearing back from Rosa, the Pinkberry general manager at corporate. She never took the time to read and do the math for the 5 toppings I was charged but did not receive. 5 toppings x $1.50 = $7.50 not $3 which is all she offered. I guess the corporate office is just as poorly run as the Northridge Pinkberry. Terrible service. BEWARE, if you order ONLINE OR POSTMATES - you may be charged for toppings and if they don't have them, they will not put them on your yogurt, will charge you anyways, write a note telling you they don't have the toppings and you will never be able to have any refund for toppings you never received. Corporate could care less how their stores are run. No wonder there are so many bad reviews. Get it together Pinkberry... read more
