Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

We had our entire downstairs remodeled in 2024 - kitchen, master bath, living, etc. We choose…read moreTeamwork Home Designs based on a neighbor's initial recommendation...only to find out later that some of their plumbing work needed to be entirely redone and that they'd had to request a new plumber for their project. In any event, I hesitated to write a review because Shaked was nice to work with and incredibly responsive, but we are still having issues with the work that was done. The most annoying of which is the constant smell from the kitchen sink island. Our kitchen was gutted and everything installed was brand new. A week or so after install, I noticed a moldy, wet, dank smell coming from the sink, dishwasher and surrounding island cabinets (where a large group of pipes feeds into the foundation). Shaked and the plumber remarked that the disposal probably needed to be cleaned. The disposal and everything associated with the kitchen were brand new - they did not need to be cleaned - but we cleaned them anyways. I let this go because my husband didn't really smell anything and I wanted to be optimistic. Well, it's two years later and now EVERYONE in the house can smell this musty dank smell!! We have troubleshooted the dishwasher, the disposal, the p-traps, etc. and are having another plumber investigate. We will likely have to redo part of the island to discover the cause of the smell and it's incredibly frustrating that we can't host because our kitchen smells gross! There were additional issues. A couple months after we started using our newly remodeled kitchen, we heard a loud bang and noticed that the disposal completely detached from the sink! I contacted Shaked and he said something along the lines of - this is normal. Ummmm, No! I've never in my entire life had a disposal fall out from under a sink. He begrudgingly sent the plumber to reset it. It started to come loose again not long after their plumber reinstalled it. Ultimately, my husband DIY'd the install after watching a Youtube video. It's been fine since my husband installed it. Lets see, there was a leak around the base of a newly installed toilet. The toilet needed to be reinstalled. The floating master bath tub was caulked with the wrong product so it looked gross a month or so after install - and continues to look gross because we can't get the substance off. The heated floor wiring was cut during install of the bathroom floors, despite it having an alarm system to alert to said issue. After a lot of back and forth and troubleshooting (on my end), Shaked's team ultimately agreed to remove most of the flooring to reinstall with new wiring. The flooring on the stairs looks sketch to put it nicely. The wall paneling at the base of the kitchen island is wavy and disjointed - looks like a DIY project. The trim on the French doors leading to the master bedroom keeps falling off. Etc. etc. etc. Things they did well - tiling! The tile work from these folks looks amazing! Communication - Shaked was extremely responsive and did his best to address issues as they arose. They were helpful - a pipe burst during the freeze while the house was being remodeled and Shaked sent his plumber to repair quickly and without charge! They happily made changes and didn't really every charge extra which was refreshing. Despite being smelly, the kitchen LOOKS amazing! Overall, enjoyed working with Shaked and his team but not pleased with some of the results. ETA - For what it's worth, my husband thinks they deserve a 4 star review.

I really liked their customer service and the high quality of their cabinets. Unfortunately, as my house was getting close to completion, I flew in to meet in person to work on the kitchen project and they quoted me $66k now. I understand prices are increasing during the pandemic but not nearly triple. It looks like on top of the price increases, they may have counted the wrong number of cabinets needed for the project. I tried to work with them cause I wanted it to work out but ultimately, I would have had to make too many sacrifices to fit the budget such as not doing some upper cabinets and doing open shelving instead. In making these edits, they could get it down to $45k, still double the original quote and with too many sacrifices. If I calculate cabinets, counters, GC work, etc, the kitchen would be well over $100k. For that price, you should just go with a fully custom kitchen company. If I wasn't building a new house, building out a big pool and deck and all these other incredibly expensive projects, I would have liked to go with UB, but their pricing was more than I think I'd worth for semi custom

Our kitchen is a picture of absolute perfection - thanks for Alex and his team! He did an amazing…read morejob and went above and beyond to make sure everything - absolutely everything, was perfect and to our liking. I was in awe of his attention to detail, the care he showed from the beginning of the process to the very end and the precision with which everything was executed. A+ indeed!!! Here is the whole story for those interested: We are in the process of bringing our whole house into the 21st century and we decided to start with the hardest, but probably most exciting - our kitchen. It took several months for us to come up with the design and pick the cabinets. We knew we would most likely pick IKEA cabinets as they are about the only place in town that offers great modern-looking cabinets. We looked at Lowes, Home Depot and Cabinets to Go, just to check them off the list and decided to go with IKEA in the end, just as we thought we would. Another reason we went with IKEA was because they offer an online kitchen planning tool where you can do your layout and see how everything fits and IKEA will even verify your plan and create a shopping list for you so you order everything that's needed. We also liked IKEA's price transparency - you make your plan, you pick your cabinets and the program calculates the total price of your kitchen for you. We even thought we would get the countertop there and have everything installed by IKEA, to make the process super easy and simple. So once we designed the kitchen, picked our cabinets and were ready to move forward with installation, it turned out not everything was that simple. IKEA told us that we would not be able to get what we wanted because they hardly do any customizations - they don't cut cabinets, they don't cut doors, they wouldn't put a panel we wanted on one of the kitchen walls and they wouldn't even adjust an insert for a 12" cabinet to have one shelf instead of two! And every time we talked to an IKEA rep they told us a different thing! We were getting frustrated and after several weeks of trying to make adjustments and make compromises, we decided that we need to go with plan B - find someone else to install our kitchen. While starting looking for someone else, I remembered that one of my friends, who had her kitchen done recently, highly recommended Aplus. I found the phone number and called. I left a message and Alex promptly returned my call. He came over that same week to look at the space and I immediately had a good feeling about him. I emailed him the kitchen plan and he provided a quote a few days later. The quote was comparable to IKEA price-wise, but we were getting everything we wanted and more, so I told Alex that we, of course, are going to pick APlus! Installation was very smooth and I felt like it was more of a collaboration than a hired contractor doing an installation. I told Alex that there were some things I was not sure about and wanted to see how each version would look before deciding on the final one and Alex was more than happy to accommodate and he provided lots of invaluable advice, too. He also provided extra services per our request. We wanted to install laminate on all three walls in the kitchen to serve as backsplash and when I told him that I had trouble finding someone to do it, he agreed to install it and it looks perfect! He also installed the exhaust hood - and it's perfect, of course. I tell you - we would hire Alex to do EVERYTHING he would agree to do with the rest of the remodel - that's how much we trust him and appreciate the quality of his work. I know I am going to sound very sentimental when I say this, but I truly feel that he is a rare gem that we were lucky to find. The love and care he puts into his work is absolutely priceless!

The sales representative, Gale, was super helpful in pointing us to different types of tile. Their tile types included marble, porcelain and ceramic. With 95 degree temperature outside it was a delight to be in Arizona Tile. BLG was recommended by my cabinet maker - and I totally see why!…read more I was lost in the decision making process and decided to stop by one day to check out the stone they had, although I was pretty much set on a Stratus quartz at this point. I met with Abbie and she was soo unbelievably kind, helpful and patient with me. She spent so much time reviewing options and pointed out that there were natural stones that were at a similar price point. (At the end of our meeting, she said "I know you're going to get a natural stone!") She gave me some stone yards to go look and she was right - I fell in love with a stone and it is my favorite part of my entire remodel. I can seriously look at it for hours. Once I picked the stone, Amanda scheduled an appointment to determine the layout of the slabs. She knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautifully they fit together. She also said I had quite a bit of stone left and suggested that I use it on another vanity. So glad she did because I love my stone and it made the prefab vanity look way better! When the cabinets were in, Chad came to do the measurements to begin fabrication. They stick to their schedules and I appreciate it so much! Install went great and I am so happy with the final product. Key Points: 1.) Great people that you are happy to give your business to. 2.) Transparent pricing. It was also lower than the other quotes I got. 3.) BLG also had a great selection of remnants at a great price. I got a beautiful marble for my primary bath that I also love! They had so many options! 4.) Their communication is prompt and top notch. 5.) Their ability to determine lay-outs, book match and deliver! 6.) What makes this place special is that the entire team at BLG is great. Seriously, all of them. From the owners to people that greet you at the front desk to the fabricators and installers - all kind and professional! 7.) Oh and they also have some quartz for purchase by the SF, instead of buying the entire slab. Thank you so much, BLG!

Several months after the remodel, when I had one or two minor issues (so small that I can no longer even recall what it was), Rick came out personally to fix them and ensure that everything was still meeting his standard of excellence. One of my dogs recently chewed one of the cabinet facings that housed the built in trash can, and Rick- who paid careful attention to my love for my baking and cookbook collection- also helped me to come up with a cookbook cabinet solution that will be built to put in its place (and will be far less enticing to our hungry pups!). To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to share our experience with Luxe Kitchen and Bath to warn others about their business practices, particularly regarding their treatment of a disabled veteran and his wife. We hired Luxe Kitchen and Bath for several home improvements, but the quality of work was unacceptable and improperly executed: - Flooring: The original glue was not removed, and the slab was not leveled before installation. When an independent flooring inspector evaluated the work, Greg falsely claimed a moisture barrier had been installed. Luxe Kitchen and Bath later stated they let the installer go, yet Don refused to accept the inspection report and demanded an additional $5,000 to fix the issue, claiming my wife's wheelchair caused the damage. - Plumbing & Bathroom: They broke the toilet flanges and overtightened the toilet, cracking the porcelain and causing water to leak beneath the flooring. - Doors & Paint: The storm doors were not installed properly, and the wall painting was poorly executed. Throughout this process, project management and communication were virtually non-existent. Don never visited the site to inspect the work, and Greg only came when specifically requested. We received no progress updates, and Don failed to appear for the independent inspection, sending Greg and Kim instead. It is deeply unacceptable for a contractor to perform sub-standard work, refuse to take responsibility, and attempt to blame the resulting damage on a disability while demanding more money. Sincerely, Bryan
