I would not use this company again nor can I recommend them. I hired them to cut and install a fairly simple job of a BBQ counter top early September and was told it would be around 4 weeks. It took 12 weeks and was done incorrectly. The fact I do not speak their language was important as communication with the techs doing the installation had to go through Ronnie. Ronnie assured me this was not a difficult job and one they have done often. which I do not now believe at all. This is another situation where it is important being very knowledgeable yourself and not depend upon someone else's assurances. Again, I cannot recommend this company. We paid another company to correct the issue due to Best Stone not being available for another couple of weeks and when I asked Best Stone to split the cost, was told too bad they would have fixed the issue at no cost. The problem was they were not available, did not seem to understand the issue, and we were already over 12 weeks into the project with an event on the calendar. read more

We started looking around for granite places to redo our kitchen countertops...we went to a few and researched a few online. Ran over to Best Stone and quickly found what we wanted and for a far better price than competitors. The people that work there were super friendly and easy to work with. We decided to wait two weeks for installation and the two guys that came to install arrived on time and worked until finished. We compared prices from a few vendors and Best Stone had the best price. They use the thinner granite and add a thick edge to simulate a thick granite look which is why their pricing is better. We had them install countertops in two bathrooms. They took a long time to finally get to us with installation but the installation itself was very detailed and thorough. After the installation I noticed that there was a hole on the wall opposite of the countertop. I called Best Stone thinking they had accidentally knocked a hole out. Mr. Zhang explained that it couldn't have been the countertop because of the location of the hole (low, close to the floor). Even then he took the time to patch the wall for us. We really appreciated that even though there was no proof that their crew had done it. Overall Mr. Zhang is a very conscientious man. I would do business with him again. read more

I recently had Best Stone install granite in my kitchen and two bathrooms and my experience was outstanding. The installers arrived on time, stayed with the job until it was completed and did an excellent job. I had an unusual situation with two large framed mirrors in the bathrooms, so I spoke to Ronnie, the office manager, who immediately called the owner to explain my situation. He personally came out immediately addressed my concern and made the corrections. They eased my concerns, when they asked me not to make the final payment, until after they completed the correction. After getting three estimates , I hired Best Stone on March 9, 2016 to remodel a kitchen that will become a rental property for me in the future. Lonie the sale person and office manager came out to do the measurements for the granite countertops, cabinets, and install a oven microwave space, I wanted the microwave off the countertop, I was told that they would be able to do the work with no problem. I decided to go with this company, the price was within my budget and this would be a rental property. The first clue this was a bad decision- Lonnie requested the entire payment up front, which I knew not too. I paid for the material upon front, then once the work was done then I paid for the labor. Take my word, this is not a honest company, if you do business with Best Stone, you will regret it. The workers are great, especially Donnie. Do not trust Lonnie, she will lie to you to get your business. I don't through the word lair around freely. I have never written a compaint on a company before and I can not believe how people lie just to get what the want. A three day project turned into 5 days, because Lonnie did not measure the cabnite accuaretly and the cabinets was damaged. The workers was not informed of my special request becauseLonnie did not communicate to them my requests. This was a nitemare for me, and left me stressed out. I am warning you, do not do business with this company, the workers even stated to me, Lonnie is not a good person, she tells customers things just to get them to sign up with them, , and then she goes back on her promise to a customer. And, I am a victim of that scam of hers. I never got the microwave install, when I asked about it, she stated we don't do that. Lonnie tried to say there was a miscommunication between us. There was never a miscommunication, we talked about the microwave request in my kitchen and in the showroom. Half way through the work, I asked the workers about the installing of microwave , I was informed they were never informed that they had to make a cut and reshape the cabnite for the microwave. I told one of the workers to call Lonnie, when he did, she told the workers to add a board there for me to set my microwave on, which is a fire hazard. Then I called Lonnie, she stated we don't do that type of work. She lied to me just for the simply fact to get my money. I am filing a complaint with the better business buearu and taking this company to small claim court for misrespresenting and a beach of contract. I do understand if a company can not do a certain request, if that is the case, then the company should just be up front to the client, and not lie to the customer(s) to get the job. read more

We are on day 12 of our kitchen remodel with this company. I've had no kitchen for 12 days. There is poor communication between the company and ourselves. They were to start on the 17th, but said they had issues with another remodel and could we start on the 28th instead. After we'd had our kitchen torn apart to be prepared for the work, no sink at all. They started the 18th. They don't show up on time, you never know when they will, or how late they will stay. They don't always bring the right tools, and the only one who speaks english in the spanish worker, who is great. There was no call this morning when they were to come, and i called and she said her worker didn't show up, so they can't finish today. I am calling the better business bureau, and then she says they will be here. Then i call 2 hours later, they can't come, and now they can come in 2 hours. So another day, sitting here waiting, and she told me to calm down. Worst customer service ever. The owner is very skilled when they show up though. read more

It's really awesome experience to have Mr. Zhang to do the counter-top and laminate flooring. I bought a home at the Landing of Avery Ranch in early July 2014. I strongly recommended Mr. Zhang for the following reasons: * The real stone granite counter-top material and installation are all great! I cannot find a single problem of the immaculate counter-top. * The laminate was all installed very well, and it looks gorgeous after finish. * The pricing of Mr. Zhang is also very reasonable and trustable. I personally didn't haggle with him, as the price was pretty good. * Mr. Zhang extremely cares about the quality of work. It makes huge difference when you start your work. Many contractors don't. For example, another contractor I had, ARS (Austin Roofing Services) doesn't have any sense of job quality, messing up the cabinet painting. My cabinets are still sticky now. * Mr. Zhang really wants to help customers. He helped me move some furniture from Big Lots. Installed 6 sets of locks, and fixed a bunch of other issues, for FREE! Some other contractors will rip you off for fixing any other issues not in the initial contract. IE. ARS quoted me $100 to install a light for 1 person*1 hour! read more
