Everyone I dealt with at Doors & company was excellent. If you want the best in selection and installation this is the place. They have been doing this for years. Most of the employees have been there for years and they are extremely knowledgeable. We love our new doors!!

My wife and I had a fridge break about 2-3 weeks ago and immediately went to Facets to see their selection and price points. Their new showroom was one of the best (if not, THE best) showroom I've been to in the entire Austin area. Very clean, organized and very well thought out. Mike met with us and gave us a quick tour and then started to ask us questions to ensure he was recommending the best fridge and appliances for our family lifestyle and needs. He knew his product and was able to find something that was readily available (because of covid, most manufactures are on back order right now). We purchased a fridge and set up a delivery the following week. So when their crew arrived to deliver the fridge, we realized we had a miscommunication. It was my fault for assuming installation was included when in fact only delivery was included in my price. To my wife's relief, Mike immediately jumped on the situation and organized another crew to arrive and install the fridge. I'm in the remodel business and I cannot tell you how rare it is to have a company go the extra mile when something is clearly not their fault. It was my misunderstanding but nevertheless, they where the hero of the day and made miracles happen to ensure our fridge was connected and installed correctly. Thank you again to Mike and his team for amazing customer service, prompt problem solving and making us a valued client for life. I'll be sending more friends and family his way in the future!

We went the DIY route, measuring and installing 6 solar screens ourselves. Ours is a new home with…read morealuminum-framed windows. The back of our home faces west, so the afternoon sun in the summer can be brutal. We bought the wider framed screens with a cross brace, since our windows are rather large (35" x 70"). We chose 90% screens because of the western exposure. Ordering the screens was easy, particularly since all of the windows we wanted to screen are the same size. But our windows have narrow recessed edges so we weren't sure at first about installation. We didn't want to void the window warranty by using screws. So we sized the screens to match the protruding portion of the windows and purchased heavy-duty outdoor Velcro strips (1" x 4") to attach the screens. Our process was to attach the fuzzy side of the Velcro in the same location on the frame of each solar screen. This made them all interchangeable. Then we put the matching half of the Velcro in place on the screen. Lastly, we removed the backing, lined up the screens, and carefully put each screen in place, pressing firmly to secure. We chose to attach Velcro only on the sides of the screen frames, for ease of removal when we want the sun's heat and light in the winter. The frame color we chose closely matches the original window frames and house trim, and the black screen matches our screen porch, so the solar screens look very much like they belong. I recommend you be choosy when selecting frame and screen colors, as they can change the overall look of your home. Picking up your DIY screen order is an efficient process: when the screens are ready (ours took about a week), an email arrives with directions to a small industrial park, a code to enter the stowage space, and the location within of your screens. Once inside, there are doors to compartments that contain orders. This is how 24-hour pickup is made possible. My only gripe, a minor one, is that one of the 6 screens has an obviously darker area, perhaps a crease in the fabric. But, all in all, this was a great experience. We expect our west-facing rooms will be more comfortable this summer than the last one.

I especially like the video explanations of the entire process, it was all very helpful, especially because of my overnight work schedule, it's not always easy to meet with people or spend time on phone calls etc. Josh and his team came and installed the screens without ever needing me to come outside or lose any sleep :) I highly recommend Josh Hobbs for your solar screens.

Met with Nate in about a built in desk and a built in entertainment center in December and he told me he was booked 2-3weeks out. I said, sure no problem, we can handle it in January. Come mid January, he tells me he needs more time. I say sure. Come February I reach out and no answer. Called, emailed and texted, still no answer (mind you I had already given 50% down to him). Finally after not hearing from him for almost 3 weeks he responded and saying he was just getting started on building the cabinets. It's now mid-March and he finally got to installing the units. But don't expect him to arrive at the time he says. He was consistently 2-3 hours late to the time he promised to be here (which required us to adjust work schedules). First day he arrived at 2:30pm after saying he would be here at noon and then had to come back on a Sunday because he couldn't finish it all in one day. Now that's just the communications part, as for the quality of the work. I have been very disappointed. I had asked for a 1.5" wood top on my desk. After install I've noticed it's a single 3/4" plywood top with an additional 3/4" plywood strip on the front to make it look like it's 1.5". Not only that but because it's plywood there are obvious seams on the desktop. And the front is covered with a veneer which bubbled in multiple places and even though he came to glue it back down still does not look great. There are seams in multiple places where he could have easily gone with a full piece of dimensional lumber instead. There are screws protruding on the side of the cabinets which are the only sides that face out so would have expected the screws to be hidden. He left part of one of the tops uneven, even though I brought to his attention before the painters came, so he had to come back out and fix it and the painters had to come back out and fix the paint again. Also when he put in the shelves after the paint (because he didn't have the shelf pins and had to order from amazon), he scratched up the paint pretty badly in pretty obvious places. I've worked in construction as my dad was a contractor and I fully understand things happen or sometimes things don't work out as planned but for the price I paid I would have expected much higher quality and less chasing to get this completed.
