I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I just bought a home 2 months ago. I called this company to begin with because they were rated #1 in my area with great reviews. The reason for calling them out what just to fix a wheel that had popped out. The gentleman who came out to fix my garage was polite and came off as knowledgeable and as accidents do happen.. my entire garage door folded, came off the hinges, the whole door bent the and shattered the parts of the glass. The same day and a few hours later they at least got my garage working and back on the tracks. This incident occurred on a Friday afternoon and they did not come take measurements for the window until Tuesday morning and it's been over 25 days with no glass in site, a bent up garage door and I've tried to get in touch with the company multiple times and getting My garage door is wide open to the insects, burglars or anyone walking by because the glass has not been fixed and one of my favorite parts of my brand new home is bent and damaged. Worst company I've ever dealt with and lowered the value of my home without offering to fix it or send a second technician or manager to take a look. At 5 AM my garage door decided to jump off the rollers. I made an appointment via their website but noticed the first available was later in the week. This was not optimal as the door was hanging half open. I called at 6AM and to my surprise I received a call back at 7AM! I selected their emergency service, $75, and was informed that a Tech would arrive in a the morning. The Tech arrived around 8:30 AM. He quickly diagnosed the issue and the cause. He explained why it happened and said it was an easy fix. He exceeded my expectations as he resolved the issue in about 30 minutes. He also tuned up the door assembly and motor. After he left we noticed some additional issues. The Tech came back later in the day and again provided detailed guidance regarding what was required to complete the job. This is just not safe as it was held in place with electrical tape. So I ordered a replacement cord and replaced it so there wasn't an unsafe splice. Recently I came in to purchase a garage remote for my keychain (trust me--if you don't have one, you need one!). This requires programming at home, but I was given information about how to ensure it works and a number for tech support if I were to run into any issues. If that were to fail, I was assured I could reach out to them as well. I greatly appreciated that. It's been a bad year for garage door repairs for my fiancée and I. To be honest, between our two homes, they've been money pits. Hers is by far the bigger pit. We had to call Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors out a second time within a month due to a loose belt. The previous tech did not know much about her opener (Marantec) so he had to phone-a-friend for instructions. This time I insisted on Dean, who had helped me before at my house. I made all the arrangements by phone with Christian and babysat the repair while she was teaching, which made this my experience. Dean inspected the system and found the failure was due to a broken track. While a fix was possible, we also wanted the missing rope for the emergency release fixed. Due to the odd way in which a Marantec opener's rope is attached, replacing the $6 rope would have entailed disassembling the entire track. Since Marantec parts are not readily available and labor costs were mounting, Dean's recommendation was to replace her opener with a Liftmaster unit. It took a couple hours to finish between the diagnosis, attempted repair, and replacement installation, but she has a new fully working opener with no string or sealing wax. A couple of quibbles in that the new opener only comes with one remote and the WiFi feature is not fully functioning yet, but I'm sure we'll sort those items out in time. Thanks again to Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors for making a bad situation better. Tip to friends: don't ever buy an off-brand garage door opener, no Marantec, no Linear. Recommended. Five starts. I called on Saturday to schedule a routine maintenance on our garage door and they scheduled us for Monday afternoon. Tommy and Andy, two super nice and professional technicians showed up. About 15 minutes into the inspection they discovered a main rail plate that would've failed in the very near future. They replaced the plate, adjusted a few things, lubricated the system and were done. I'm grateful I called them when I did, but I'm even more grateful for their attention to detail and professionalism. If you have a garage door need, look no further. The spring that controls the tension on the garage door broke (after 24 years). I made the appointment on line and was called the next morning to confirm the information was correct. Chris showed up exactly on time after a phone call to tell me he was about 10 minutes away. He went right to work explaining everything he was going to do. Mine was an old and odd sized spring, but he recommended replacing with two springs (2-car garage) for smoother performance and to prevent having a custom spring made. He worked quickly and diligently and had the whole thing done in about 30 minutes. He also noticed that the garage door opener (which I installed a couple of years ago myself) was not connected at the optimal position and he too the time to adjust the pull arm. He also lubricated all the hinges and the new spring. I asked about replacing the bottom door gasket and he gave me an estimate and suggested other ways to seal better for the time being. He didn't try to "upsale" me on other services or add ons. I'm 77 years old and it reminded me how service used to be performed years ago. It was like talking with an old friend and he was quick and professional in everything he did. Not only did he complete the repair, but the adjustments and lubrication make the door perform more quietly and smoothly than before. It started out great with me messaging the website at night and I got a call at 8 am the next morning. Clearly a 'dispatcher' who's not close to the area but it was fine, appointment set up. Tech arrived at scheduled time and was super nice. We chatted about my needs and then he said he'd call me to come down when he was finished measuring so my dogs wouldn't go crazy. I first went to home depot to see what openers cost and then got a price from them that was almost exactly what I had calculated.
