Our garage door broke a hinge and was immediately rendered out of service. After others attempted to upsell us and tell us our door was a lost cause, we discovered Leander Overhead Doors. Within hours of our call, they were there to help! Thanks to a tech named Martin, who is obviously a dedicated veteran of his trade and legitimately helpful to those he serves, the door was thoroughly inspected, we were quoted a more than fair price, and the repairs were executed "on the spot". Our door operates like new, and we are happy to add another Five Star rating for Leander Overhead Doors. Bravo! read more

One of our garage door springs broke. The next morning I called Leander Overhead Doors. They were there in 30 minutes, opened the door so we could get our car out, checked and measured the spring. Left and came back 30 minutes later with the new spring, installed it and lubricated the door. NOBODY BETTER!! read more

Sabino was amazing. He was available on a Sunday to come replace a coil spring that has snapped earlier that morning. He is so knowledgeable and took the time to ensure that not only the spring was installed properly, but that my garage door was lubricated where needed and operating well before he left. read more

Sabino is a true professional and master of his craft. This is the only garage door company you'll ever need. Extremely fair and competent. Thank you! read more

Have a garage door problem or need? Stop wasting time (and money); just call Leander Overhead Doors. Like an idiot I backed out of my nice little two car garage - with the rear hatch of my SUV open. 'What's that beeping?' I thought to myself for a nanosecond until I heard, crunch!! Bye bye garage door. I played with the door for 20 minutes or so before I remembered the Hippocratic Oath; first, do no harm. A call to Leander Overhead Doors solved my problem. Get this; it's 12:30pm on a Friday and I was promised help that day! Sabino shows up @4:15 following his text telling me he was on his way and less than 45 minutes later my catty-wampus, jacked-up sideways door is gliding smoothly up and down like a Brazilian model on a runway. He adjusted it, greased it, aligned it , checked it, and ran it over and over again. For a firm, fixed price. Call these peeps and save y'self some troubles. Let me tell you - for me? Any new door, old door, new install or other? I'm calling Leander Overhead Door. That's it. read more

Sabino replaced my garage door springs promptly, efficiently and cost-effectively. He was very easy to communicate and had good availability. Very polite and went above and beyond to also lubricate the rollers. My garage door sounds a lot quieter now! Price was competitive with others. You won't be disappointed. read more

I accidentally closed my garage door without realizing my car was parked all the way back. The trolley mechanism pulled the top strut, causing the door to get stuck. Before contacting Leander Overhead Doors, I had scheduled appointments with several other garage door service companies. The representative from other company attempted to persuade me that I needed to replace the garage door with a new one. However, I was not convinced. I had anticipated a similar sales pitch from Leander Overhead Doors. However, the technician was transparent about the repair options and discussed the pros and cons of each. The quoted price was also quite reasonable. As a result, I decided to have both of my garage doors repaired. The technician installed new reinforcement struts, calibrated the doors to the correct sensitivity, lubricated the wheels and hinges, and completed the job in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Leander Overhead Doors. read more

Had a broken spring and reached out to multiple garage door service companies before reaching Leander Overhead. So happy I made that call. The person I spoke with was able to diagnose the problem and give me an estimate for the job, that happened to be spot on after the work was completed. Sabino came to our house within 30 minutes and did a great job. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend for any type of garage work that you may need. Great experience. read more

Amazing experience today with this company! I called on a Sunday to try to make an appointment for a spring replacement and they were willing to come out today with no extra emergency/weekend fee. The owner was here within 30 minutes and completed the spring replacement with ease. He even lubricated the door's rollers and my other garage door's spring as well without any extra fee! The owner talked us through the problem, had a fair price, and after the job was done he explained how we can easily maintain it to keep it working in tip top shape. Thanks for everything! read more

Sabino is the absolute best!! We were blessed to receive his service when he was with a different company, and made sure to find him when he left there. He is always accommodating and knows his stuff. We won't use anyone else when it comes to our garage door. Support LOCAL! read more

Had a broken spring and called to get an estimate for repairs. Sabino said he could come out same day and have a look. He saw the problem, gave me a quote, and had the parts available to do the repair all in one visit. Very Fast - 30-40 minutes later our door was fixed. Reasonably Priced - Price was better than I expected and he didn't try to sell me on extra things. Communication and Quality Work - Sabino explained what he needed to do and the quality of work was exceptional. Sabino delivered way beyond expectations. He lived up to the positive reviews. Highly recommended! read more

Fast, responsive, and thorough. I so appreciated the service and would highly recommend.

The cable on our garage door snapped and we were unable to open it at all. After calling several businesses and getting the run around, we came across Leander Overhead Door. We told them our dilemma, and THE OWNER came out that very day without a same-day charge, fixed it within 30 mins and it is now working like a charm. I highly recommend Leander Overhead Door to anyone that needs competent, reliable, friendly service! read more

Bought a house a couple years ago, but its garage door opener was from decades ago before they standardized on the transmitters, so I hadn't been able to get a second opener to pair with it. It was so noisy when opening that the whole house would shake as the door opened. And sometimes, on hot days, it'd decide to just... not work. So this Sunday I looked for a garage door company. Whoo, I found a local one, and they had all five-star reviews (OK, they have two one-star reviews, but you have to hunt: they're in the "not recommended" reviews, and are dated from when the company was just starting out, about five years back). Sabino responded FAST to contacting through Yelp, usually within a few minutes even on a Sunday evening. I asked if he could mask since my wife's immunocompromised so we're still being careful, but said it wasn't a big deal if not: he said sure, and thanked me for letting him know. He came over the next morning (Mon), but when I opened the door he was standing well back, apologizing that he'd forgetting the mask and saying he'd go get one and be right back, if that was OK. I said sure, thinking he meant he'd go get it from his car, but nope, he and *he went off to buy one*. I felt bad, I had a stack by the door I coulda given him :( A few mins later he was back, and inspecting the garage doors. His free estimate was helpful and insightful: he clearly knows his stuff! He let us know what to expect. He advised us on the openers available to buy at Lowes just around the corner, discussing the nuances of brands, and features. Once I'd bought it, I messaged him Monday night and he confirmed he could do Wednesday morning, sometime between 11 & 12. He messaged Wednesday morning with an update that it'd be about 11:35. Good comms! He arrived and once I'd taken the cars out, he set to work: I left him to it. A couple of hours later, he said he was done, and the difference was night and day! Super quiet (he'd advised us to get the belt-driven for quietness), and even the noisy rattly tracks that I'd kept had quietened. I'd also bought some track lube, and he'd used it, but there was still a squeak - by the evening even that had disappeared. Soooooo quiet! The fit & finish was much better than the original, too: the old one was held in place by two-by-fours, but the new one was fitted with its proper bracket, all the old dangly wires were instead carefully wound around the supports, or tucked into the attic: really nice cable-management work, there. I got the feeling that he took well-deserved pride in his work. The old parts were neatly stacked to one side. For after-sales support, he's continued to answer his yelp messages in minutes, always kindly and politely answering my questions on things like how to use the lock button... apparently I need to close the door before I lock it, who knew? D'oh. THE DOWNSIDES! Yeah, so, the one big downside, now, is that with the garage door so quiet, I can no longer hear when my wife has returned, even though my office is next to the garage. So I don't know when I need to get back to looking like I'm working :( My other gripe is that I feel he undercharges. Yeah, it's nice to be able to lowball, but he's charging '90s prices. Others charge twice the price for the same job: I felt with even a 50% tip, I was still underpaying. The unit itself was about twice what I paid him, and he'd put in hours of work with the estimate and fitting. I guess he's been in business and clearly successful for five years, so he knows what he'd doing with these prices, but still... tip him well, people! He deserves it! read more

I've used this business twice in the past month, for repairing and installing new garage door openers at my home. On both occasions, work was promptly performed..on the same day-at a very reasonable price! I had previously called six other companies for bids...but all had at least a weeks wait before coming. Owner Sabino is very knowlegable and fair in his assessment of brand name companies and their products. Using his recommendation, I bought a new Genie Belt Drive unit today and within 2 hours of his arrival, Sabino had unpacked, assembled, programmed and completed the job! I will be using Leander Overhead Doors for any & all garage door issues in the future...and I give them my highest rating in all areas. read more

Thankful for the tune up that was done to our garage! we were able to get service the very next day which was awesome.

Simply a small company providing elevated service! Fair prices and quick service and on top of that stands behind his work! Hard to find that ol fashion business but that most certainly is the case here. Give them a call and you will get the service you deserve! I certainly did and I'm outside his ideal service zip codes. Keep up the good work! read more

Punctual and excellent service. I had my garage door spring break late at night and they provided the option for 24/7 service (which is great), though without a rush I decided to call them the next day. Called the next morning and they were able to come out by noon. Job was finished quickly and for the best price amongst the other quotes I received for a single spring replacement. I like the way Sabino conducted business, unlike some other competitors I spoke with. There was no hidden fees or same day fees, just a clear cut price and no ambiguity. Would recommend and will be using their service for my garage door needs in the future. read more

I had Sabino back out at my house again after a repair he did on a different issue and his service is still 5 STARS! Very fast, efficient, and professional. The spring had broken and he had the part to fix it with him in his truck. I would certainly recommend Leander Overhead Doors to anyone having garage door issues. read more

Called to get a estimate on changing our rollers on two garage doors. Sabino came out gave me a quote that was reasonable and he came back next day and installed them and took the time to check that both doors were operating properly. He ended up replacing one of the gears in one and tightening up the chain also. He also noticed that one of the doors was not closing evenly and adjusted that one also. In all I was very impressed with his work and would greatly recommend him if you have any problems with your garage doors!! read more

I highly recommend Leander Overhead Doors. Sabino, the owner was very responsive and courteous in his interactions. He was easy to communicate with and worked around my schedule. Martin was the installation tech who installed my door. He is very friendly, professional and really fast! I am really happy with the work he did and I'm glad to finally have a garage door I don't have to open like a little Hulk! He was very helpful in answering my questions and was a pleasure to speak with. If you need a garage door doctor check these guys out! Great work, great price, great customer service. read more

Called Sabino on a Wednesday morning and he was out the same afternoon to replace the motor on our garage door. He was super knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem with just a few questions over the phone. He offered to make a repair to the old motor or to replace with new. We opted for a new motor after discussing the pros and cons. Sabino arrived on time and did a great job replacing our old motor quickly. Charges were quite reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

We had bought a Genie door opener and google searched for a company to install it. Leander Overhead Door responded first and the lady on the phone was knowledgeable and very helpful. We exchanged photos and measurements. It turned out our 30 year old door needed to be replaced and the bid was considerably less than a comparable company's. Sabino arrived and did an excellent job taking down the old door, installing the new insulated door and opener. The installation was done promptly after our first contact. It works wonderfully. The only negative I would say is I used a magnet to pick up staples and a few errant screws. We would highly recommend this company! Great job Sabino read more

Sabino was a lifesaver. I am a mom with a chaotic schedule and needed prompt and efficient service. Not only did he provide same day service, but went above and beyond to get me the best price and explain exactly what was being repaired. Highly recommend! read more

Sabino from Leander Overhead Doors is about the nicest and most responsive guy you will ever deal with. He came to my house a year ago after I tried to install two openers myself. I got one almost all the way done but had issues and could not resolve them. He responded right away, came out same day at 7 pm so I would have a functioning door the next morning. He charged me next to nothing to finish / fix the one I almost got completed : ) and charged me what I thought was a VERY reasonable price to do the second one entirely. I called him a couple months later for a neighbor whose kid hit their door with the car. He came out first thing in the morning and actually was able to just pound out the dents and it looks brand new. He could have ripped them off and charged them for a brand new door, saying the door was not repairable; but Sabino is an HONEST guy and a good man. I will never use any other company and I refer him to whomever I can. Give him a call! He has nothing less than 5's on any rating on Google reviews also read more

Professional, On Time, Reasonably Price. I decided to use local/small business for faster scheduling. They came the next day! Since my first call, I have used their services twice. Sabino and his team are reliable, friendly and knowledgable. They walked us through the repairs and provided us with tips for troubleshooting if need it (garage door would not open/close, broken spring on the main tube above door, sensors repaired and full maintenance on our door). read more

I cannot say enough about their professionalism and technical skill set. My garage door pulls snagged and locked the garage door in a crooked, open position on a Sunday evening. Within an hour of calling them they were here and the matter was resolved within 15 minutes. read more

Fast, efficient, polite, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced are all reasons to call Sabino with your garage door issues.

Our garage door was stuck and wouldn't close. It was after 6PM and we desperately tried contacting a bunch of 24/7 garage repair companies but only Sabino promptly responded and was at my home in 30mins. He addressed the issue quickly and got the door working. He is a perfectionist and went the extra mile to also address an existing issue in the original installation of the garage door. Reasonable rate too. Definitely recommend!! read more

We made the mistake of trying to do some upkeep on the garage door on a Saturday night. Of course the door became completely inoperable. Leander Overhead Door was there the next morning and repaired everything quickly while explaining everything he did step by step. Highly recommend! read more

Our old Genie garage door opener stopped functioning, so reached out to Leander OH Doors via yelp (based on the excellent reviews). Sabino came over to the house, on time, and re-programmed the unit. He said he wasn't sure the opener would continue to work and might need to be replaced, so he would not charge us immediately but wait till the next day to see if the opener was still working. The garage door opener stopped functioning within a few hours, so Sabino offered to install a new opener, that we provided, the following day and not charge us twice. Charge was reasonable, he texted us prior to heading over and was very efficient with the install - he definitely knew what he was doing. All in all, a great experience - highly recommend Leander Over Head doors. read more

Showed up within an hour at night to help me. The service was professional and fast. And reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend this business. read more

Great response and great service for a fair price. Sabino was at my house within 30 minutes of my message requesting a quote. I had an emergency as the family vehicle was stuck inside the garage and the spring had broken earlier that day (on a Saturday). I had 2 quotes at the time and he was 30 dollars lower. I did get back two lower quotes back- but that was the NEXT DAY, which did not help my situation. Anyway, Sabino did a great job taking care of my emergency and then lubed and tuned up my door. It went from the loudest to the quietest garage door in the neighborhood. GREAT JOB! read more

This was the first time I had to get a new door for the garage after it had broken in the middle unexpectedly due to it's age. Having to call several placed to show up the same day, due to not being able to close the door, I came across Over Head Doors and spoke to a lovely lady who under the circumstances of having a full schedule found a way to be able to get someone to help me. Two hours later Sabino stopped by, and closed the bent door so I would not have it open throughout the night. After he examined the condition of the door I had no choice put to get a new one. To make the story short the next day he had a new door, assembled it all by himself, set it up efficiently and and took the old door with him. This was the easiest service and a delight. He also explained to me how it all worked. Sabino was extremely very professional by wanting to keep the client happy. I will definitely recommend working with them again in the future and passing my recommendation to any one that needs a new door. my highest ratings: superb! and a new shiny door that works! My garage door circuit board was fried in an electrical storm and Sabino came out the same day I called and fixed it. Not only that but he fixed a couple of issues that were there from when the garage door was initially installed (at no extra charge). He was very professional and did great work. Warranty on both parts and labor. Very satisfied and when someone can come out the same day and fix the issue it's always a plus. Great work! read more
