Under an hour on a rainy day, Tony responded to my inquiry on Yelp (took less than 5 mins), came to where my car was (took only 20ish mins) and then created an exact replica of my key (20ish mins). The pricing is affordable and since he's a mobile locksmith, so he came straight to my home (perfect for wfh haha). Tony made this process super easy. I didn't realize how fast this can be and feel quite silly for waiting so long to finally fix it haha. Eric did such a great job at my house. My home had no ethernet wiring and I wanted to wire up a…read morebunch of POE cameras and also provide 10GBE to ethernet jacks upstairs and in my office as well as add 2 10GBE APs for my ubiquiti setup. Eric's quote was reasonable, well thought out and easy to understand. Of the 4 bids I requested, Wire Genie came in the middle in price but Eric was heads and above in his consideration and scoping of the task whereas many other installers seemed to be guestimating effort. Eric had a number of helpful suggestions both from camera positioning to running lines for future use and he did a phenomenal job on running a POE Doorbell camera behind brickwork and only needing one access cut that, at his suggestion, we put a 2-outlet blank faceplate over for future access/maintenance if needed. All cables were carefully labeled and terminated into my server rack patch panel. Awesome work!

Eric is now that guy for me with networking. My home has never had good internet. It was built before internet was much of a thing, it's stone, has radiant barrier, outdated connections, nonstandard shape, etc. I prepped Eric for these challenges among others and told him I had very high standards. He was undeterred and we set up a consultation. Eric had to have really impressed me, as I let him drill through stone which is highly uncharacteristic of me. I now have rock solid WiFi both inside and outside my house ~600Mbps for an extended distance and constant speeds over Ethernet even faster than that. Detail: We reviewed four companies in the Austin area for a fence extension and automated gate for security purposes. Absolute Fence & Gate were outstanding to work with: they came in cheaper than all other alternatives, were the most responsive with clear communication, and were very knowledgable about the options within our space. Amanda was extremely responsive and helped us scope out our initial ask to coordinate an onsite bid walk quickly and helped sort out billing. Travis helped develop our initial concept for a gate into an efficient, turn-key solution that would abide by local codes and fit within our budget. After clarifying our scope, the project was completed at a lightning pace. They staggered the required demo of our old fence until the day they'd be able to erect the fencing to minimize the amount of time our house was exposed to the street. The work crews were very professional and Travis and his team clearly explained the scope each day and progress updates. In addition, Cade and the gate operator crew were outstanding. They set up the motor and made sure all items were functional tested. They did a terrific job commissioning the equipment and explaining how to use it. The commissioning team also noted that our gate operator had a minor issue and contacted the manufacturer for a same-day under warranty solution. The level of service was outstanding, and I was very pleased to have a total turnkey solution. During the construction, Travis would check in with the teams and ensure quality work which resulted in zero punch items at final walk.
