Not enough stars. Fired my old repair outfit and Bo came out right away. Gave me an honest estimate, then we decided to put in a new unit. (Cheaper than new circuit boards). Fast work, friendly, punctual, what else could I want? I say call this company first and save yourself the hassle of dealing with other inferior companies! And did I say GREAT price? Yes I did. read more

Just noticed this is the second time I've reviewed 512 Garage Door Service. Bo has been maintaining my garage doors at several properties for almost 10 years. Great work, on time, communicates well. We need more service people and small businesses like 512 Garage Doors. Highly recommend. read more

Trustworthy, efficient, quality work from a genuinely kind human being! I don't know the first thing about garage doors and am SO glad I chose Bo to help me install my garage door opener. He showed up right on time, worked quickly and delivered exactly on his estimated timeline, and charges a fair price that I feel good paying. I felt comfortable leaving to get an extension cord while he continued working, absolutely no problems. The workmanship on how he secured the wires is beautiful, honestly. I wouldn't want to go to anyone else! read more

Bo did a great job! Nice clean install and he showed up on time and was able to knock out 2 garage door openers. I wish every small business owner or even large company were like Bo! You can't beat his service. Update: A year later the receiver sensor on our Home Depot garage door opener went bad. Bo was able to show up the same day to take a look and fixed the issue. read more

Requested a quote on Yelp for someone to tighten my garage door spring since I added insulation on the door. Everyone else requested a phone consult but these guys provided a very reasonable price and a timeline the same day. Excellent service and communication. Showed up on time, explained what they were doing, how they did it, and provided a quick tune up. Thank you! read more

Bo gave us a great price, arrived exactly when stated, offered up that the manufacturer would provide a belt replacement for free (under warranty), but we chose to replace the entire unit, which he did a great job on. Highly recommend! read more

Bo was very responsive during the quote process. He offered a very reasonable price, showed up on time and he quickly did an excellent job. He was also respectfully of social distancing during these difficult time. Highly recommend! Update: I found that fake people quickly liked my review. Bo was responsive about my concern about this. When the reviewer's picture are all people cut out of a magazine something is up. These fake people have so many friends on Yelp but only a few reviews. Not likely. You would think YELP could ferret this out unless maybe they work for Yelp? It's happened before. read more

If you're looking for a garage door tune up or repair, I strongly recommend that you look no further than Bo and 512 Garage Doors. Of course I was needing garage door repair unexpectedly (isn't that always the way?!?!) and it was a Sunday, so I did an outreach for quotes via Yelp (partially because my prior emergency service provider doesn't appear to be in business anymore). Bo was one of a number who responded to me - he was prompt and clear in his responses and we setup an appointment for the following day. He let me know when he was on his way and that he'd be early (wow - already had a strong impression!) and then he got straight to work and was able to do the repair efficiently and effectively. He then talked me through other things he noticed and would recommend I consider - and I took his advice and we arranged an appointment later the same week via Yelp messenger. He again arrived on time and was thorough in his work and debrief with me. I would not hesitate to use 512 Garage Doors again - professional and fair on the prices for the outstanding work quality. read more

I have to say I'm very pleased with 512 Garage Doors service. Bo, the owner offered the best price to install my garage openers by a long shot. He even told me it's cheaper to go to Home Depot get the product for him to install. I messaged 8 other garage companies and they couldn't beat his price. He was done very quick and was very easy to talk to and on time. I highly recommend this company. read more

Bo knows his stuff, communicates clearly, and gets the job done. During the entire process I could tell that he was shooting me straight and looking out for my best interests. I highly recommend 512 Garage Doors! read more

I honestly could not be more impressed with this business. Bo is highly professional, friendly, genuine, and honest. My garage door is not working properly and Bo came out, determined the issue, recommended I call the company that installed it to check on the warranty, let me know what the cost would be through his company if the warranty does not cover it, and did not charge me anything. I find that very unusual when almost any type of business charges for simply arriving. It was a nice change. Additionally, I was considering replacing my garage door, but wasn't sure it would look right. Bo gave his honest opinion that the garage I was looking at might look too busy and that he would stay with my current garage door if it was his house. Whoa! He chose integrity over the sale. Now I wish Bo did all the things around the house. read more

Great service! Bo was prompt and thorough for my chamberlein garage door opener installation!

Very responsive, accommodating - I kept changing my schedule and they had no problem moving the appointments. Highly professional - will use again read more

Very responsive and great service for replacement of my garage door opener. 512 gave us a reasonable quote and came out next day to install. Bo didn't try to oversell, actually recommended a less expensive opener first. Install was quick and they walked me through all the new opener's features. Highly recommend! read more

I have worked with Bo for so many years that I do not even remember when it all began. I do know that the garage doors installed by another company were not working properly and I found Bo. Overtime, he has replaced one really old door...this new one is quiet, efficient, and works so smoothly....and continues to repair the other door which is old but still works. Bo is personable, competent and prompt in replies with excellent customer service. He now comes every year to lube, maintain and check-in on how the doors are performing. It is always October when I text him for the annual check in and that way I know that the "cold" Texas winter will be easier on us since the doors will always open so we may drive into the warmer garage. read more

Fantastic service and value. Bo was quick, efficient and did an excellent job. He noticed a few issues I hadn't seen that obviously also needed repair and took care of them for no additional charge. Door works great! read more

Our garage's spring broke. I contacted many places for quotes and timeline to get us in. This one was the best value, and they got us in quickly (which helps when your car is trapped in the garage). They were honest, knowledgeable, nice, and explained maintenance I could do for the future life of my garage door. I will definitely contact them for any garage door related issues in the future. read more

Exceptionally wonderful communication and service! First, let me just thank you once again, Bo, for making this a great experience. Bo was the only garage door company that answered the phone Monday. He was out Tuesday for an assessment of my situation! Job was completed Saturday! Bo went above and beyond his call of duty! Replaced my garage door, beefed up the door to sustain better, also redid the shotty work I had done previously all in a fixed priced! I commend you doing all that work alone in a reasonable amount of time! Bo work safely and diligently. He was prepared with his mask and we both did our best social distancing. You know my saying want it done right the first time call 512 Garage Doors ASAP for all your garage door repair or replacement needs! read more

I hired Bo to fix my botched install of a garage door opener. I requested a quote through Yelp and he responded with a price in less than 10 minutes. Got several other quotes and his was lower than them all. We scheduled for 2 days out. He came when he said he would and finished the job within an hour. I'd definitely hire him again. read more

My garage door spring had broken. It was easy to schedule the appointment. He was on time and finished the job quickly. He explained what he had to do and put in two new springs. He replaced a part on the bottom of the door and put in a new seal. The seal wasn't working quite as he wanted so he came back the next week to put in another one. He will contact me again to make sure this one is fitting properly. The prices are reasonable and I am very pleased with the work. I will definitely be recommending him to others. read more

Installed a garage door for my dad and us. Great process!!! Easy setting up an appointment, reasonably priced, quick installation, I go on and on. This company is legit. read more

Ok. I have never written a review on yelp before. Mostly because of working in the service industry, I don't care to listen to people b*tch just for the sake of getting attention, or being spiteful. But I'm writing this one now because I am so very very impressed with Bo, from 512 Garage Doors. I came home today, and when I pressed the button to close my garage as I walked in, all seemed normal. Within seconds we heard a loud BANG in the garage behind me. The spring has busted and the cables snapped on either side of the door. We couldn't even lift it open. Being that we bought our house less than a year ago, I was not prepared to spend an arm and a leg, just yet to fix something like this. But my partners car was now trapped inside the garage, and I don't feel comfortable with any door not working properly, just as I don't feel comfortable leaving my front door unlocked. I sent out 4 requests for an estimate here on Yelp. I got two responses right away, and one was Bo. He quoted me less than I expected, and less than the other responder. He said he could make it to my house in an hour. (I live outside of Austin, btw). We discussed what all needed to be done, and he gave me a firm out-the-door price. Bo arrived 15 minutes early, and gave me 15 minutes notice when he was nearby. He was polite and straight to the point. He went to work and was done with everything in about... 25 minutes? He even tightened up the loose screws overhead (opener was hanging crookedly), which had nothing to do with what he came for, it just looked much better. I don't know if he lubricated anything but when the door opens now it's so much quieter than before it even broke! You're awesome Bo, we sincerely appreciate your great service, your timely response, and your quick but quality handiwork! Thanks again! A++ read more

Outstanding service, professional demeanor, answered phone calls each time - fair pricing and garage door fixed the vey next day after initial call! Bo replaced our garage door spring, made sure all was working well, answered our questions and very clearly understands what customer service is all about. I could not have asked for a better experience - Thank you! read more

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Having used Bo before I knew I had one of the best. Installed new sensors and door control in the most expeditious way possible fee was more than reasonable. This company believes in repairing if possible. Not like others irrespective of the trade nowadays all they want to do is sell something new instead of repairing . read more

Bo is very professional aside from being awesome dude. I have him come in to install one of the high-end tier Chamberlain garage openers and he just killed it! The service is good and the quote is very competitive. Also, he accepts Venmo as payment too which I think is a plus. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to fix garage issues. read more

We hired Bo to replace three old garage door openers. The previous install had some strange electrical wiring that did not make the job straightforward. Bo was dedicated to ensuring that not only his part of the job was done well but fixing the electrical wiring issues and making adjustments to the doors themselves make sure that everything was in great working order. It's difficult to find someone who truly cares about doing a quality job. I recommend Bo without reservation. read more

Responsive and knowledgeable. I broke my door and gave them a call. I asked if we can fix the door and install a new opener. He said "yes." After fixing the door and installing a new opener he assisted me with creating a pass-code and a full walk-through of the new garage door opener. He also pointed out future repairs that I should be on the lookout for. I Will use these folks again. read more

Thanks so much for the speedy service in replacing our garage door. It was an old garage door that must have weigh a ton and I was tired of manually lifting it. When I decided it was time I didn't want to wait another day. Bo was out in no time with a new garage door and all the bells and whistles. Not to mention his prices were just as good as anyone if not better and I wanted to support local businesses. Thanks for making it an easy decision. Highly recommend. read more

Bo was really great to work with. I was able to text him what I needed help with, and he texted back and forth with me, which was my preferred form of communication. His labor cost was a much better rate than some other companies I looked into. I would recommend Bo and 512 Garage Doors! read more

We were having issues getting a door installed at our home and Bo came out to verify the install was done properly as well as installed our locks. Bo was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. We also hired him to diagnose and subsequently replace the opener on our other home, which he did less than a week later. He showed up on-time, we paid what was quoted, and the job was done very well. I'll definitely be using Bo as our primary garage door service from here on out! read more

Bo is really good. His quote was reasonable compare to others. He came on time for this job.

Bo is great, honest, and quick! I reached out to him really late at night due to my timezone and traveling but he was able to quickly set up an appointment with my tenants. Showed up promptly and ended up did not charge us for re-programming the keypad code. If I have any problems with my garage doors, I will definitely reach out to him again. Highly recommend this business! read more

We had our Garage Door break late on a Friday night. Bo answered our call right away and schedule for the follow morning. He came right on time and fixed our garage door without any issues. Local Guide · 26 reviews · 4 photos 2 minutes ago Bo, the owner of 512 Garage Doors, is incredible! He's pleasant, honest, competent, punctual, and more than reasonable. I've used him twice for two different garages and I'll tell you why I think he's the absolute best. For the first job, I got 3 bids. The first (Cedar Park) told me the door was too heavy and everything would cost $500. The second bidder and Bo said this was not true. The second bidder was nice but didn't seem very knowledgeable. Bo came to my house three times (once for the estimate, a second time to try and replace a part to try and repair the system, and a third to replace it) and still only charged $125. He's a really good guy and I give him my highest recommendation! read more

Bo showed up time, as promised. Did an awesome job at a reasonable rate. Very polite and professional, what else can you ask for.
