Would highly recommend not going with Anytime Garage Door. My suspension system gave out about 3 months ago, and we called them to install a spring system. That overall went okay, including them upselling a wheel upgrade to bearings I believe. Total all in ~$1400. About 3 weeks later, our garage door started to squeak extremely loud. So, we called AGD to come back out to take a look. The tech essentially told us, it's on the hinge design of the garage door and there's nothing we can do other than grease the hinges more, replace the door, and/or upgrade to a new motor. "Bad door/hinge design" is what I was told in a newer build home. So then, I did the maintenance myself and the garage door barely makes any squeaks & is back to normal. I will not be going with AGD in the future and highly recommend you do the same. The tech was dishonest at best & deceptive at worst. read more

Terrible experience. Even though our garage door was still under warranty, they still charged us for a repair after a major failure of their own installation. The arm that pulls the door snapped, tore out the bolts, and damaged the door itself. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us for "using it too often," claimed we should have been doing maintenance, and said the door was too heavy. That explanation makes no sense. If maintenance was supposedly necessary, why wasn't that clearly communicated or followed up on before something broke? And if the door was too heavy for the setup, why wasn't the proper reinforcement installed from the beginning instead of only after the damage was done? What we got was poor workmanship, excuses, and a warranty that apparently means very little when it's time for them to stand behind their work. Definitely not calling them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I did have an issue with this company giving me time ranges when they would be there and failing to show up twice. I do understand that it is a moving target and if they get held up at a job in some cases it's out of their control. Ultimately they were able to show up a few days later and they did offer me a discount for not being able to follow through on their previous timelines. Response was quick. Otherwise, would not recommend. Oct 10: a bumper bump had knocked the door out of alignment on one side so it wouldn't close and garage was exposed: I desperately needed service that day. Tech came and gave an estimate of $1046, $500 of which was for new springs (see below). I needed to secure the door, so approved the repair.---------- Fast forward to last week/ early January. The cable came off the spool on the same side. Called, AGD. The same tech arrived, took a look, and said that more repairs--$500 worth--were needed. OR they could credit my sunk cost of $1000 on a whole new door. I balked at both alternatives (I could to open and close the door manually). The tech left. Fifteen minutes he returned, saying that his boss told him to make adjustments. He worked for 10 minutes and left. I went out and tried the door and it worked fine. I called another company--MRS--for a second assessment. The tech looked things over, had me open and close the door several times and said I didn't need any additional parts or service, much less a new door. He was perplexed about why the springs had to be replaced. Next time, I'll call MRS. read more

We had a tremendous service appointment today with Anytime Garage Door, specifically Chris S. their technician who worked on - and solved ;-) our garage door issues; and, with manager Michael P. who was very responsive to set the appointment up. I had reached out to Michael P. earlier this year the first time my wife backed into our garage door - which was resolved immediately by a technician that day; and, today when she backed into it AGAIN, ugh. Both times, Anytime Garage Door was immediately responsive, situations resolved and estimates given for future work that may be needed. This company did not try and sell us solutions or upgrades - love that when we call a company. If and when we do more work - they are the ONLY company I'd call. Just like many others have pointed out, Anytime Garage Door goes out purchase local business with very good reputations and keep the previous business phone number to pretend to be the previous business. You will realize the service quality is way worse and the cost is way higher than the local business they bought out. Just be careful and read all the reviews before you use their service. I have to say their customer service center is quick to answer your calls and schedule the appointment for you and nice on the phone but don't let it fool you. I have a separate review with my experience with them and got the charges back through my credit card company after the dispute. read more

The one-star review is regarding the pricing; I am just leaving this so others are aware before calling them out. The company and customer service are quick. The technician was helpful, fast, and friendly. It is my fault for not researching the company and pricing. I didn't feel right about the quote and should have refused the service. After talking to two other reputable companies, I was grossly overcharged and sold replacements for items that didn't need to be replaced. I paid over $1500 for replacement parts and labor (labor less than two hours). After speaking to other companies, I realized that the replacements I needed could have cost $600 or $800 if I had inflated the cost. Use this company if you want fast and efficient service for a huge price. Do not advise for budget-friendly services. Update: I contacted customer service as advised by the owner. They were unable to provide an itemized receipt with the cost of parts or labor, so I am pretty sure I was ripped off. Even with all the replacements, I don't know why this amounted to over $1000 for the work done. I hope their employees are at least paid well because I have no idea where all the money is going. Customer service offers me nothing but more money for tune-ups in the future. I still would not advise using this company because there are plenty of other companies with 5-star reviews and lower costs. read more

The job was done decently and the tech was good, but upon completion once I had more time to compare I realized this company charges 50% more than local competitors. For that was 1.5hrs worth of work (spring, pulley and toilet roller replacement), I paid way more than I should have. Finally, it failed to close on 26-Sep-2024 I called, and they said they would send someone out this afternoon. They called back to say that this was an issue for the CONTRACTOR who installed it, so I would have to wait until 02-Oct-2024 I did not hire the contractor. I hired AnyTime. I will not stand for any organization that tries to avoid their responsibility. THEY made the decision who to hire. THEY made the decision to delegate to a subcontractor. I'm surprised they haven't changed the owner name or history of the business. Worst customer service of any company I have ever had!!!!! Sat at home all day yesterday for a "scheduled" appt and then told that they couldn't come, but would be at our house first thing today - 9 am. After another day of back and forth with schedulers, the technician arrived at 5:45!! Really horrible! When we wanted to try the door for a few days before paying, that was not allowed- against policy. No policy for reimbursing us for 2 days of waiting around for a job that took about 30 minutes!!! The technician would not leave without full payment and was prepared to remove the panel he had installed if he wasn't paid on the spot. We have actually used this company before and always paid, of course. Guess they don't give you in credit for that, but their service can be horrendous and we have to abide by their "policy". Obviously this experience has been lousy and now my fingers are crossed that they have actually fixed the problem. I would NEVER recommend this company. I had a garage door opener that wouldn't shut correctly. Guy came out and did not seem to know what he was doing at all. He had to call and talk to someone on the phone to guide him on how to diagnose the issue. He did not spend but 20 minutes or so then told me bad logic board and I need a new garage door opener. Then he pulled out his laminated pamphlet showing 3 pre-bid price points for different garage door openers. They were all HIGH. 1,500 to install the same model I already had. The opener itself cost about 450.00. Uh huh. I see how this company works. I would not call this company again for service or a completely new install based on my experience. I found another company that came out, diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than 300.00. There are a lot of these garage door 'companies' listed on yelp. Do your due diligence. 10/18/21 Can't say enough good about this company and their service. They are GREAT. Efficient, on time as promised and fixed the problem with my garage door in less than 30 minutes. Their prices are fair and reasonable. In this case, I had a handyman who messed up the closing of the door. Richard found and fixed the problem quickly then made adjustments and lubed the door for ease of opening and closing. Price was $40, which I thought was reasonable for a service call and the time he spent diagnosing and repairing the problem. I thought I called Cornell Garage Doors LLC. But the company was actually Anytime Garage Door. Technician tried to over sell me. He walked into my garage stood 5 feet away and started giving me a qoute without first looking and inspecting anything. First saying I need to replace everything for over $2k. I should of asked him to leave once I felt unsure because they told me the estimate was free over the phone. But I felt bad and asked him only to fix the broken part. He quoted me $399. He then put the garage door back on the hinges and didn't fix the broken part. Then we had words about that. And he finally replaced the part. He never tested the door by opening and closing it several times at all. I didn't think about that or I would of suggested it. Within 7 hours of him leaving. I open and closed it one time to take out my car. When I returned opening for the 3rd time it broke again. I tried to get a refund and they refused only to say they could come back out and credit the payment to the new price. Then I called another company the next day and they came out and look at it and were so honest with me saying the opposite of Anytime. The completely fixed it for $295. I was in complete shock. I lost the inital money but have I didn't trust them again to come back out. I never make negative reviews because I don't believe in them. But with this company I completely felt scammed and taken advantage of. I even asked for them to keep the cost of the part replacement and just refund the rest. But they wouldn't. read more
