Once I clicked that button to request a service call, it was straight professional. I received a courtesy call informing me of the technician's name and projected arrival time. I received another courtesy that he was on his way. Sebastian was VERY professional, kind and courteous from the beginning to the end. He explained everything to me. From the office calls to the completed work was great. Anytime did right by me. Thank you guys. read more

Nothing bad to say. Solid service. I called today to see about a rough estimate for garage door spring replacement. Originally they were hesitant to give a price, but I wanted to get a ball park estimate as I don't live at the residence needing work so wanted a rough idea. They said they normally don't do that but after explaining the situation, I got a range. It was a reasonable range so agreed to have them come out. Btw, I called like 5 places and they all had a similar mentality about giving ballpark quotes. Chris the technician happened to be in the area and I was able to meet him earlier. He was able to replace both springs (only 1 was broken) but I choose to get 2. About 30 minutes later, door was fixed and I was on my way. He clearly had done this type of work for many year. He was quick and efficient. read more

Anytime Garage Door - Anytime. - Garage Door Services Near Me - Austin, Texas

Our very old garage door was ready to be replaced. This company, when they were privately owned, replaced our other door and did a great job. Now that they are no longer privately owned, you get a company that doesn't care about their customers. They did come out quickly to give us a quote to replace our old door. We were told the other garage door color was no longer available but they had a color that was close. Work was scheduled for a set date and we were told it would take all day. My husband called at 11 to ask when they were coming and they said 2:00. They said they had tried to call, which apparently they did with an "unknown ID" number that went to spam. Anyway, the door was replaced with a tan colored door that is not even close to the yellow. We attempted several calls to the company which were not returned. We spoke with Andrea at one point when she called demanding final payment (we had already paid in full) and told her we were unhappy with the colors and wanted to talk with a supervisor. ANDREA STATED SHE WAS A SUPERVISOR and would call us back next business day (of course she did not). Turns out Andrea is an employee but in no way a supervisor. We eventually spoke with Chad who told us there was nothing they were willing to do to remedy this situation. Very disappointed in Chad and the company as a whole. It is apparent this company does not care about their customers. Now I question whether their pricing is on the mark. I trusted them completely based on past experience but wish I had gotten another quote because I suspect they are higher than average with below average customer service. read more

I would rate these people zero stars if I could. This is how they installed our garage door and then wanted to charge us more to fix it. Would not recommend this "veteran owned" company. We're both veterans and gave them our business, that was a big mistake. We now have to hire someone else to fix their crap work. read more

When my garage door wouldn't open, Anytime came out to investigate and quoted me ~$1800 to wholesale replace the motor, springs, etc. I got another opinion and they found the actual problem (a stripped part inside the motor box) and fixed it for under $300. I don't recommend getting scammed. Skip the free quote and look elsewhere for trustworthy service. read more

Would highly recommend not going with Anytime Garage Door. My suspension system gave out about 3 months ago, and we called them to install a spring system. That overall went okay, including them upselling a wheel upgrade to bearings I believe. Total all in ~$1400. About 3 weeks later, our garage door started to squeak extremely loud. So, we called AGD to come back out to take a look. The tech essentially told us, it's on the hinge design of the garage door and there's nothing we can do other than grease the hinges more, replace the door, and/or upgrade to a new motor. "Bad door/hinge design" is what I was told in a newer build home. So then, I did the maintenance myself and the garage door barely makes any squeaks & is back to normal. I will not be going with AGD in the future and highly recommend you do the same. The tech was dishonest at best & deceptive at worst. read more

Terrible experience. Even though our garage door was still under warranty, they still charged us for a repair after a major failure of their own installation. The arm that pulls the door snapped, tore out the bolts, and damaged the door itself. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us for "using it too often," claimed we should have been doing maintenance, and said the door was too heavy. That explanation makes no sense. If maintenance was supposedly necessary, why wasn't that clearly communicated or followed up on before something broke? And if the door was too heavy for the setup, why wasn't the proper reinforcement installed from the beginning instead of only after the damage was done? What we got was poor workmanship, excuses, and a warranty that apparently means very little when it's time for them to stand behind their work. Definitely not calling them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Fast and professional service. Came out for consult on the same day I called and installed new door the next day. Cleaned up and removed old door. Recommend this company! read more

Sebastian was a gentleman, doing the fix with care and clear explanation. I will definitely recommend him and his company for garage related fixes. read more

I did have an issue with this company giving me time ranges when they would be there and failing to show up twice. I do understand that it is a moving target and if they get held up at a job in some cases it's out of their control. Ultimately they were able to show up a few days later and they did offer me a discount for not being able to follow through on their previous timelines. My technician Chad was awesome answered all my questions and really gave great service, I would definitely recommend the company. read more

Prompt, clear communication as they fixed the safety sensors on our LiftMaster door. About $250 dollars for parts and service all together. Call them before you call someone else. read more

We had a tremendous service appointment today with Anytime Garage Door, specifically Chris S. their technician who worked on - and solved ;-) our garage door issues; and, with manager Michael P. who was very responsive to set the appointment up. I had reached out to Michael P. earlier this year the first time my wife backed into our garage door - which was resolved immediately by a technician that day; and, today when she backed into it AGAIN, ugh. Both times, Anytime Garage Door was immediately responsive, situations resolved and estimates given for future work that may be needed. This company did not try and sell us solutions or upgrades - love that when we call a company. If and when we do more work - they are the ONLY company I'd call. Thanks Michael, Chris and Amanda (latter was phone agent ;-). You all ROCK!!! read more

Response was quick. Otherwise, would not recommend. Oct 10: a bumper bump had knocked the door out of alignment on one side so it wouldn't close and garage was exposed: I desperately needed service that day. Tech came and gave an estimate of $1046, $500 of which was for new springs (see below). I needed to secure the door, so approved the repair.---------- Fast forward to last week/ early January. The cable came off the spool on the same side. Called, AGD. The same tech arrived, took a look, and said that more repairs--$500 worth--were needed. OR they could credit my sunk cost of $1000 on a whole new door. I balked at both alternatives (I could to open and close the door manually). The tech left. Fifteen minutes he returned, saying that his boss told him to make adjustments. He worked for 10 minutes and left. I went out and tried the door and it worked fine. I called another company--MRS--for a second assessment. The tech looked things over, had me open and close the door several times and said I didn't need any additional parts or service, much less a new door. He was perplexed about why the springs had to be replaced. Next time, I'll call MRS. read more

Just like many others have pointed out, Anytime Garage Door goes out purchase local business with very good reputations and keep the previous business phone number to pretend to be the previous business. You will realize the service quality is way worse and the cost is way higher than the local business they bought out. Just be careful and read all the reviews before you use their service. I have to say their customer service center is quick to answer your calls and schedule the appointment for you and nice on the phone but don't let it fool you. I have a separate review with my experience with them and got the charges back through my credit card company after the dispute. read more

I had an awesome experience with Anytime Garage Doors. Jeff came out same day to fix my door. Excellent work at a great price. AGD is my new garage door company. Thank you Jeff and team! read more

The one-star review is regarding the pricing; I am just leaving this so others are aware before calling them out. The company and customer service are quick. The technician was helpful, fast, and friendly. It is my fault for not researching the company and pricing. I didn't feel right about the quote and should have refused the service. After talking to two other reputable companies, I was grossly overcharged and sold replacements for items that didn't need to be replaced. I paid over $1500 for replacement parts and labor (labor less than two hours). After speaking to other companies, I realized that the replacements I needed could have cost $600 or $800 if I had inflated the cost. Use this company if you want fast and efficient service for a huge price. Do not advise for budget-friendly services. Update: I contacted customer service as advised by the owner. They were unable to provide an itemized receipt with the cost of parts or labor, so I am pretty sure I was ripped off. Even with all the replacements, I don't know why this amounted to over $1000 for the work done. I hope their employees are at least paid well because I have no idea where all the money is going. Customer service offers me nothing but more money for tune-ups in the future. I still would not advise using this company because there are plenty of other companies with 5-star reviews and lower costs. read more

The job was done decently and the tech was good, but upon completion once I had more time to compare I realized this company charges 50% more than local competitors. For that was 1.5hrs worth of work (spring, pulley and toilet roller replacement), I paid way more than I should have. I'll chalk this up as an opportunity for learning (should have gotten multiple quotes) but I can't recommend them at all. I definitely feel like I got ripped off. read more

I called Cornell garage door company which apparently is out of business. When I ask if this was them they tiptoed around the answer and did not answer my question. They pretended to be them when all they have done is bought the old number for a company that is out of business. This is just a call center feilding calls. Bait and switch. read more

This company is under new ownership since at least 2021 and their customer service and technicians are not related to the hundreds of reviews of Richard Cornell & Cornell Garage Doors. I'm surprised they haven't changed the owner name or history of the business. Since I worked with the previous owner/company for 15+ years, I was surprised when I called them for service and the person in the phone didn't even know his name, or who he was! I figured the guy was new & I'd give them some time to adjust... but 2 yrs later, that should have been resolved. I understand a larger company purchased the biz, and changed the name on Yelp, but was shocked today to see they got to keep all of the wonderful reviews the previous owner generated, AND keep him listed as the owner! A quick scan of the recent posts shows me their business practices are not on the level that I can send them to a clients house and trust they will be treated quickly and fairly. Disappointed. read more

THEY DO NOT TREAT YOU AS THEIR OWN CUSTOMER Anytime Garage Door installed 3 single-bay garage doors, with openers, on 05-Sep-2024. I paid $7,183.66. One of the doors was having trouble closing. Finally, it failed to close on 26-Sep-2024 I called, and they said they would send someone out this afternoon. They called back to say that this was an issue for the CONTRACTOR who installed it, so I would have to wait until 02-Oct-2024 I did not hire the contractor. I hired AnyTime. I will not stand for any organization that tries to avoid their responsibility. THEY made the decision who to hire. THEY made the decision to delegate to a subcontractor. You can delegate authority, but never responsibility. read more

Worst customer service of any company I have ever had!!!!! Sat at home all day yesterday for a "scheduled" appt and then told that they couldn't come, but would be at our house first thing today - 9 am. After another day of back and forth with schedulers, the technician arrived at 5:45!! Really horrible! When we wanted to try the door for a few days before paying, that was not allowed- against policy. No policy for reimbursing us for 2 days of waiting around for a job that took about 30 minutes!!! The technician would not leave without full payment and was prepared to remove the panel he had installed if he wasn't paid on the spot. We have actually used this company before and always paid, of course. Guess they don't give you in credit for that, but their service can be horrendous and we have to abide by their "policy". Obviously this experience has been lousy and now my fingers are crossed that they have actually fixed the problem. I would NEVER recommend this company. The technician was good (we hope), but wasting 2 days of our time was certainly not worth it. There are other garage door companies in town. read more

"Anytime" is a relative term... Called for a quote on spring install. Was told it required an appointment but work could be completed and coupon offered with scheduling same day. After waiting for the tech, received a call that they were unable to make it and reschedule for the same 4 hour window the next day. After adjusting schedule to meet the appointment time, received another call to cancel and try to reschedule. I will be finding another company to provide service, these guys are Anytime "it is convenient for them" Garage Doors... Was also interested in a full door replacement quote but will send my business elsewhere. read more

Dylan did a great job fixing my keypad. He also inspected my system and noticed I had a broken spring. He explained that this caused strain on the motor which would burn out sooner rather than later. Excellent service by Chris with anytimegaragedooraustin. The motor operating one of the garage doors was literally falling out of the ceiling drywall due to a broken bracket. called halfway into the arrival window to tell me they weren't coming. Anytime Garage Door seems to think their customers have endless time off from work to stay home and hope they show up some day. I had a garage door opener that wouldn't shut correctly. Guy came out and did not seem to know what he was doing at all. He had to call and talk to someone on the phone to guide him on how to diagnose the issue. He did not spend but 20 minutes or so then told me bad logic board and I need a new garage door opener. Then he pulled out his laminated pamphlet showing 3 pre-bid price points for different garage door openers. They were all HIGH. 1,500 to install the same model I already had. The opener itself cost about 450.00. Uh huh. I see how this company works. I would not call this company again for service or a completely new install based on my experience. I found another company that came out, diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than 300.00. There are a lot of these garage door 'companies' listed on yelp. Do your due diligence. Unfortunately, even some with high ratings are a waste of time. Case in point. read more

10/18/21 Can't say enough good about this company and their service. They are GREAT. Efficient, on time as promised and fixed the problem with my garage door in less than 30 minutes. Their prices are fair and reasonable. In this case, I had a handyman who messed up the closing of the door. Richard found and fixed the problem quickly then made adjustments and lubed the door for ease of opening and closing. Price was $40, which I thought was reasonable for a service call and the time he spent diagnosing and repairing the problem. My garage door is 36 years old and Cornell keeps it moving and adjusted like it was new. Highly recommend this company and I can't say enough good about them. read more
