Booked them through a Home Depot install. Could not be happier with the install. Kaleb was fast, thorough, personable and his walkthrough at the end gets extra claps for info and ease. He was awesome. Wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them if we have future garage door needs. read more

I received three bids to repair a commercial overhead roll-up door, and to add weather stripping. Aaction not only delivered the best price, but every person I encountered in person or over the phone from initial inquiry through to completion was professional, had a "can-do" attitude, and was very responsive. Before the scheduled date (while awaiting parts), the door became stuck in the "up" position, making it impossible to leave my property with all the equipment inside exposed - and a service person came and fixed it within a few hours, without the quote increasing. Thanks to Zach in sales, Tim in field management, Ashley in reception, and the repair technician, Cody, for excellent service and a great finished job. This company is putting some good stuff in the staff water cooler!!!! read more

Angelo did our new opener installation this morning and it's one of the better customer service experiences I've had in a while. Not only did he do the stuff you have to do, he went out of his way to install a couple of wire covers, thoroughly walk me through everything, and even helped me program my car. He also uninstalled the old hardware with a lot of care so that everything looks really clean. The installation came through my Home Depot opener purchase and was very reasonable. I recommend Angelo fully and without hesitation. read more

Excellent installation service ordered through Home Depot. I ordered new garage door openers twice from Home Depot with installation service. Technician Angelo with Aaction Overhead Door was sent on both jobs. Angelo did excellent installation jobs. He's very friendly, polite, and professional. I can tell he truly cares about customer and enjoys doing the work. read more

Owner of the company is a complete asshole. Literally trying to give him business, but refuses to come speak with me personally about a quote, and then interrupts me every time I try to to talk. I've never had such a short and confrontational interaction with someone, ever read more

Great job by AJ installing a new garage door opener for us. He called ahead of time to alert us of his arrival and was on time. He was very professional and our door operates smoothly and quietly. AJ made sure we were familiar with all the features of our new opener and we were completely satisfied. Highly recommend! read more

If you need a new door or just maintenance, I wouldn't hesitate going with Aaction Overhead. They were the original installers of my garage door so when I needed to get the weatherstripping replaced, I turned to them. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Replaced the trim quickly and even tuned up my door at no extra charge--significantly reduced the noise when opening/closing. I don't remember the person's name but he was great. I really appreciated his honesty and that he didn't try to upsell me. My door was a bit loud and he gave me the option to change to ball-bearing rollers but he wanted to try a few (free) things first. Those ended up making a huge difference and by his own admission the rollers would have only offered marginal improvement so he suggested not to do it. This is the way to get repeat business and referrals! read more

Well I reached out to Aaction for a normal "tune up " because we were so impressed a few years ago with the technician that serviced our door, it was a great experience. I made an appt. for a tech. between 8-12 (closer to 10) and at 1230 I called and said no one had called nor has anyone showed up. I had to cancel "waiting any longer" because I was leaving the house. A nice lady answered the phone and we rescheduled for March 20 from 11-3. The tech. did call ahead of time and was here on time. My problem is the "QUOTE": When I spoke with K on the phone I was told it will be: -- $155.77 for the requested tune up --$80. for the rubber repair on the bottom of the door. PLUS she would add a "MILITARY discount" on the invoice. My husband paid the tech. with CASH, then said an email receipt would come. After I looked at the receipt there is a $55 additonal charge on it!!? ----Basic Service Call and Diagnosis of. $45 -----Service Supplies (lubricates & fasteners). $9.95 WELL, she informed me the $155.77 was for the "service" so NOW an additional service call? This was NEVER mentioned. WELL now the tech. handed my husband a can of "lubricant" after he used it. NOT saying Anything about CHARGING us for it?? Since I have called the office TWICE and no one has called me back. On 3/21 at 1247 I left a message on the machine in the "Billing Dept". On 3/25 at 1233 I left a message on the machine for "K", which is the woman I spoke to to get the quote. Still waiting to hear back as I am requesting a REFUND of $55 I can also go on Social Media if nothing is heard going forward by next week. read more

I ordered my Genie Garage Door Opener from Home Depot along with an installation. Aaction Overhead Door called to set an installation date and gave me a time frame. Angelo called ahead with an ETA and arrived on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and went straight to work. He removed my old noisy and balky opener, installed the new one, oiled my garage door plus made some adjustments. He demonstrated the features of the Genie, left literature with me, set-up my keypad and vehicle communication before leaving. Best garage door opener service I have ever received. I will be calling them in the future. read more

I have tried to give this company some business. Beginning the first week of April I contacted them about purchasing new garage doors for my residence. My builder had used the company for the doors when the house was built in 2021 & he recommended them. I wanted to replace those doors with a different style & better R value. The initial call was misunderstood & I received a quote for new openers. I emailed explaining I wanted new doors in a different style with increased R value. Ten days passed & I received a quote for exact style of doors I already have but with higher R value. Emailed again stating I wanted a different style of door. I was contacted the next day by email with companies & styles of doors to choose from. Responded immediately with several styles of doors I like & asked what was next step in the process. It's been 14 days & nothing. I will take my business elsewhere; it shouldn't be this hard! read more

I purchased a genie garage door opener through Home Depot & the reviews said it was great but the installation was difficult....so when they set up my install through action overhead I asked that they make a note... My installer Chris C. was incredibly courteous, called before he arrived, showed up on-time, explained what he was going to do, installed my unit in only 45 minutes and walked me through all of the features until I was up to speed. AMAZING EXPERIENCE, start to finish. I am now a client for LIFE!!! read more

I live in new-construction house and these guys installed my garage door opener. One day it stopped working and I called the builder warranty, they directed me to this company. Once on the phone the gentleman walked me through the troubleshooting steps and explained to me exactly what the problem was - a power outlet killed electricity to garage outlets from an electrical surge. Although this was not this company's responsibility he went out of the way to patiently walk me through the process to get my garage door opener working again. read more

Very pleased and highly recommend. Aacction fixed the springs on our Wayne Dalton garage door at a fraction of the cost of another company that we called out first who wanted to retrofit the entire door. Zach fixed the springs and was extremely knowledgeable, personable and quick!! Even the person who answered the phones (Ashley), was extremely knowledgable and helpful. Very happy with Aaction from beginning to end and would use them again. read more

I purchased a garage door opener from Home Depot and asked to have it installed too. They contracted AAction to do the garage door installation. The tech that came out, Neal, got everything installed and working (for the first few opens and closes), and then the door opener stopped working. Apparently it was a broken logic board (on a brand new unit too). He called his office which then got in contact with Home Depot to fix the problem and then Neal contacted the manufacturer to let them know what was going on. In the end, a new logic board was sent to me and AAction came back and put the board in. They kept assuring me that they would get everything taken care of and they most definitely did. I would recommend them for all your garage door needs! read more

This guys were great! Called several company's to work on a large commercial roll up door that never even showed up. Called Aaction today at 9am Tim was here by 1pm got the door fixed for a very reasonable price. As this is at my business it was extremely important for a quick turn around. So thanks again to Tim and the Aaction team! read more

We had them install a Genie garage door in January 2013, and it worked for about 9 months. It started going downhill with random noises and disconnects, all of which were related to the installation, not the opener mechanism itself... and they got worse over the course of about 6 months, until finally, it went BOOM and just stopped working altogether. My husband called them to ask for help and they referred us to Genie's warranty department -- which does us no good because (1) we don't have our original receipt and (2) the problem is with the way the opener was installed, not the machine itself. Aaction offered us no discount to come out and fix it -- which amazes me. Why would we pay them their regular rate -- again -- to come out and look at fixing something that they installed poorly to begin with?!? I'd much rather give that money to a company that hasn't already screwed it up. Overall, kind of a crappy experience -- which is disappointing, because so many other customers seem to be happy with their work. read more

At the most inconvenient time our garage door would not go all the way down. I told my wife to call the number on the sticker by the inside garage door opener. Once again, Aaction Overhead Door came to the rescue. The technician fully inspected our door system and gave my wife a recommendation that would fix our problem and did not propose we rip everything out and start all over. Their prices are very fair and they really care about their customers. I will be using Aaction Overhead Door the next time I need service that I can count on. You should give these great folks a try. read more

Today, AACTION OVERHEAD DOORS came out to fix my garage door and within 15 minutes, he changed the circuitboard, fixed the wiring and all is new again. These guys are AWESOME!!!!!! These guys are awesome! I had a guy from overhead garage doors of Dripping Springs come out last year and they said the unit in one of my doors needed to be replaced and charged almost $500. All it needed was a circuitboard. The next day, it didn't even work because the guy messed up the wiring - I called him back out and he charged me another $40 to fix his previous mistake. If you live in Dripping Springs, do not use the company out here - USE AACTION OVERHEAD DOORS (512-218-0494) - They are incredible and went out of the way to program my vehicle and offer additional remotes if needed. Cannot say enough good about AACTION OVERHEAD DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Highly recommend this Company. Just had them install our garage door opener last week. The Crew arrived exactly on time and went to work. Both guys friendly and professional. Very impressed in that after a few hours into the job a second Crew arrived. Not knowing what was going on I went outside to check. Come to find out it was the Owner and one of his Managemnt team dropping by to make sure the job was being completed satisfactorily ( it was). It went a long way with me in making sure "service" was a high priority. They all took time to answer any questions I had. Total pros! read more

I highly recommend this company!! I had a great experience with the owner, Brian. He was friendly and professional, and I really appreciated the time he took to explain the issue we were having. He made a few suggestions, and gave us a cost breakdown for replacing a few parts that are wearing down. The door is working great now, but we will definitely call them when it's time to replace!! read more

These guys have been awesome!!! We used them with our home warranty and although they had to come back and redo some things to make it work smoother, they did not charge anything. Had them come again yesterday due to bearings going out and they came by and fixed the whole problem for a very fair reasonable price. Very friendly. Will use each time we need anything with our garage door!!! read more

Purchased a new garage door opener from Home Depot. Home Depot uses AACTION OVERHEAD DOOR as an installer in my area. Technician came out and replaced a broken torsion spring on the door and installed my new garage door opener. He was professional courteous and finished very quickly. They get four stars for doing a great job. Bonus star for answering the phone when I called them and asked their ETA. I've called painters, electricians, carpet and counter top guys and no one shows or calls back. Thank you for being available when I called. read more

Aaction Overhead Door replaced my opener in July 2017, and were quick, polite, and efficient. November 2018, the spring on my garage door broke, the week of Thanksgiving. Aaction was able to come out the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to replace the spring. My technician (Zach) also made minor adjustments to my door to make it run more smoothly and quietly. Great service, and friendly and polite technicians. Thanks, guys! read more

Garage doors fail right after warranty expires. Bought brand new house where A Action Overhead was used to install doors. Warranty was for a year after move in date. I have a metal door where the screws sheared from the control arm. Something like this shouldn't happen to a house 15 months old. Callled A Action to look at it and said they would have to charge $90 to come look and I said why would the door fail so soon. Builder wants to buy cheap doors that's what happens. What kind of bullshit answer is that!!!!!!!!! read more

Ended up with this installer through Home Depot online. Took 12 days after delivery for them to call and arrange an appointment for which they came unprepared. Don't use them. And, don't select install on @homedepot purchases. You'll be stuck with a garage door that is stuck closed. read more

My boyfriend and I utilized their services for a circuit board receive for the garage door motor. The Genie Company had sent us the wrong part so we drove out to their business and spoke to the owner Brian. He was able to obtain the correct part for us. Tuesday night at home and my garage door spring busts. Called Aaction and they come on Weds. Mr Aaction came early and did a first rate job repairing the spring, also noted that I had a cracked hinge. He was out of them in his truck but he showed me how to repair if I went to hardware store to get the part (which saved me about $10 likely). So I called one of their competitors to do a price check and the other company quoted me $60 more than what Aaction wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with these guys and I will definately use them again. read more

We live in Sun City Georgetown, TX. Aaction repaired the garage door opener on my recent purchase of an older home. My remote garage door openers were functioning erratically...leaving my wife to manually open the garage door in the rain a couple of times. They effectively diagnosed the problem, replaced the opener electronic panel, and solved my problem. They also inspected the doors, pointed our the roller damage that was causing my door to bind, and made that repair also. I was totally satisfied with their service, price, and explanations. I would highly recommend them to others needing garage door repairs. read more

You know how the last time you had your garage door opener or door worked on the guy put a sticker with his company's phone number right next to the wall button for the opener? Peel that off and use a Sharpie to write Aaction Overhead Door on the wall instead. Four years ago we bought a house, the openers for the two doors were shot, Aaction didn't have the openers I wanted so I got them at Home Depot, but Aaction sent a guy out to install them. On time, friendly, cleaned up, and even adjusted and lubed the doors. Today I had both doors replaced. Name brand doors, good quality, available lots of places, but no one came close to Aaction's price. Brian and William were suspiciously on time and suspiciously young, but were friendly, competent, did a great job, cleaned up the giant mess from removal of the old doors, lubed my openers for me, and, well, this company is great! read more

This was my first experience with this company. I called them to service a garage door on a house we just purchased because their tag was on it from the original installation. I wrote down the scheduled time as 3-5 but Michael showed up at 1:47 and called from the house. Very possible I wrote it down wrong and luckily I was only a few minutes away. My only suggestion would be to call ahead of time to avoid wasted time for the technician if customer isn't home or to make sure customer has time to get there. Michael was awesome. Very professional & polite. Fixed the problem very easily and made sure the garage door opener was lubricated and working properly. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them. I appreciate family owned businesses that take care of their customers! read more

I called this company yesterday because I had a couple of fence pickets fall in the path of my garage door. This caused the cable to snap, pulled the opener off the door and also pulled a couple of rollers off the track. They were at my house in a couple of hours to do the repair. Zack was very professional and friendly and explained to me that I needed to keep items away from the door to avoid this happening again. I was so happy that I did not need a new door as I thought it was warped due to the position it was in. They were also reasonably priced and I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. They did install a garage door opener for me a couple of years ago and I have not had any problems with it. read more
