Had these guys out again to fix our garage door/garage door opener after an attempted break in, could not be happier with the service and the tech was very professional. Highly recommend these guys to our friends and family read more

My 18 year old garage door spring snapped trapping both my cars in the garage...Needed Help Asap. Good honest people, told and showed me what I needed without feeling pressured and gave me several options to fix it correctly. thanks guys! read more

They overcharged and blatantly tried to rip me off.Something didn't seem right to me, so I asked different company to come check out our garage & examine the supposed "issue" that Aaction claimed was there. The other company confirmed that there was nothing wrong. read more

I bought a radio receiver board (to go in a Genie AC Powered Screw Drive garage door opener) from this company for $60. The part did not work. The exchange of this part momentarily from the old receiver board has made my opener even worse. I took it out right away. The company refuses to take parts back. I asked "What if the part itself is faulty?" They said nope, they won't take it back. So I'm now out $60 and my opener doesn't work AT ALL, when originally only the remote wouldn't work. I'm not using a Genie opener ever again and nor am I using this company. read more

These guys bailed me out today in a big way. My garage door broke today and my car was trapped in there because I could not get the door to budge (broken cables and spring). I called a company I had used a couple of years ago from a coupon, and they told me they would be out by 2pm. At 3, they called to tell me they weren't coming, so I called AAction. They were there within about an hour and fixed everything. The door works great now. The tech John was really nice, and even programmed a couple of remotes for the garage door that I had not been able to get programmed due to my non-techie tendencies. I will definitely use them again. read more

Yes! Use these guys especially if you have a Liftmaster or Genie Garage Door opener. After being improperly serviced by another company. These guys came out Diagnosed the problem in 2 min. Quoted me a price kept to the $165 price quoted and even added a few extra things that were optional like installing the keypad opener that was never installed. hooking up the wiring tot he Houses Original wiring. Adding the missing braket that probably caused the problem in the first place. I also learned that my model was not "crap" but was actually top of the line. read more

We purchased a garage door and opener from Aaction Overhead Door in 2009 and over the years have called them a couple of times to make some minor adjustments. We've always had a great experience with them! Today, Brian came out to install a brace and adjust the springs. He was friendly, extremely informative and very professional. My husband had some questions about the opener and Brian took the time to thoroughly check the issue and resolve the problem. Aaction will definitely be the company we'll call for all of our garage door needs! Two thumbs up and highly recommended! read more

Horrible experience. I will never use them again. My garage door opener stopped working. I went through my home warranty company. They contracted this company to do the work. The technician installed a new opener. He said I also needed new springs for my garage door. They replaced the heavy duty springs that were in good condition with cheap springs that weren't strong enough to hold my large garage door. The springs broke after a few months because they couldn't hold the weight of my the door. The company refused to pay to replace the cheap springs because they said they don't have any record of replacing them. read more

Terrible experience. Called my warranty company, they sent me this contractor. They made a repair that we didn't think was the issue, however, we trusted that it was. It had hitches afterward but it would go up and down. After a month it completely broke again. They came out to say it was something else and that it would cost us more $$$. It's still broken and we are going for a different company. Unreliable, poor service, rude tech, will not stand by work nor did they follow-up. Never again. Good luck!!! read more

We've called Aaction twice in two years. Both times we feared an expensive door replacement but both times, they made the necessary fixes and we were quickly back up and running. Their service people are prompt, on time (!), and very friendly. We love their service and recommend them highly. (What a change to be able to call someone at 8 am, and by noon you're fixed and at a reasonable price!) read more

Purchased garage opener thru sears and aaction did the install. Great work, nice guys, were on time and fast. Highly recommend

These guys are awesome. Somehow the board on my garage door opener fried and I called these guys, they came out late in the afternoon and fixed the issue first time and installed a better garage door opener and added an extra light onto the other side of the new opener so I have more light in my garage for nightwork. A+! read more

We used the services of Aaction to repair our older broken Genie garage door opener. The technician was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He not only repaired the opener, but instructed us in proper maintenance of the machinery. We will use this company again for any garage door repairs. read more

Josh pre-called to state what time he would arrive. Josh arrived in a company vehicle with a company shirt on. Josh greeted me, asked what was the problem and was very attentive. He had the door fixed and adjusted in 20 minutes. He treated my property with respect and I will ask for Josh again if needed. First class operation! read more

I purchased a Chamberlin garage door opener from home depot and William from Aaction Overhead came out and installed it properly and professional in no time! On top of that, he was very friendly and made sure all my questions were answered after installation. I will definitely recommend them for a quality job and friendly service. Great job! read more

I have no handyman experience so I rely on the professionals out there to take care of things that are on the blink at my home - and hope they don't take advantage of my lack of knowledge of their trade by sticking it to me with a huge bill. I also work full time so my time is very valuable to me. Yesterday, I had a new garage door opener installed at my rental home. Tyler was assigned to my project. Not only did Tyler call me 30 minutes before arriving to give me the heads up he was on his way so I didn't have to wait at home, but rather got some work done while I waited for his call. When I got there, he was already there. Tyler was very pleasant, professional, respectful and just made you feel like he cared about his work. He went over all the details of the garage door opener and how to operate it. I hope I will never have any further issues with my garage like I did in the past, but if I do, I will most certainly call Aaction. Kudos to their scheduling staff "Amanda" as well - very pleasant. Thank you guys! read more

This company works with a home warranty company. We called them to fix our garage door since the coil was not pulling the door. They came and fixed the problem, it was not included on the warranty. So we paid with a check. Few weeks later the door was broken again. We called them to ask them to come again and take a look and see if it was the same problem or a new one. They did not call us back, the next week they did call and we thought they were returning the call so we explained the problem. They were calling because our check bounced back (our bank account was compromised and we closed the account, did not remember about that pending check). We explained the situation and ask them to come to the house and fix the problem and we will pay them full. The old and the new fixing. They said they will not come to the house until we pay them with a $15.00 fee for the returned check. We asked them again to take a look at the door and we will pay them and explained again that it was an honest mistake and we were going to pay immediately. They refused again and requested their payment by credit card. My husband explained we were going to send another check but this one was not going to be returned, they were very stubborn about this and wanted a credit card immediately. BAD SERVICE(the problem was not fixed), No guarantee (They refused to come back ), DISRESPECT to the customer (they treated us very bad from the beginning). We had sent the check to the company with the fee, we are definitely calling our Trusted door company and not calling this company ever again. read more
