Two days ago while attempting to close my garage door, a wheel popped off and nearly hit me in the face. The door wouldn't close after that. Despite my apprehension I figured I really ought to bring in a professional. I reached out to Advanced Garage Repair that evening and heard back first thing the next morning. Within two hours of our phone call, Chad was at my door and taking a look. It was a bit of a tricky issue (apparently the door had never been properly set up at all) but he had everything in order in basically half an hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and the garage door tracks smoother than it ever has. His fee was entirely reasonable, and I appreciated his willingness to be up front with me about the cost range on our phone call. Chad is one of the good guys!

At a mere 5x the price of the service we were actually asking for. For reasons that did not apply. Not listening, not what we were asking for. Clearly in it to maximize the sale. And my very heavy old door was a bear to take down, but they didn't charge me extra. They had a lot of variety in the doors you could order, and Christine walked me through all the price differences very patiently, and was very honest about what various features were worth, in my particular case. She was as great to work with as Neal and his son, which I so appreciated. I liked everyone so much I'm actually hiring Neal's son to come back and do some handy-work for me on his own. This is one of the best experiences I've had with contractors, and as I said, I can't recommend All Area Overhead more highly.

Top rated was VIP Garage Door Services. Gave them a call on a whim. JD asked me to send him some pics of the damage. He came out within 30 minutes. He went above and beyond - answered my questions about the second garage door (not the door being repaired), gave great advice on insulation for the doors, he also lubricated the wheels on the damaged door. Never rushed me or the job. Very professional, very friendly/easy to talk to, knows his stuff, and can't beat the price! Highly recommend.

Always quick to respond, reasonably priced and customer service is top notch. We had a spring bust maybe a month after the warranty was up and without asking they honored it. Communication is always easy too, I'm a texter I don't think my phone actually makes phone calls and they are always on top of responding and letting us know when they are on the way.

Grateful for Zach's help on my garage door project!…read more I was looking to get some light in my garage which also serves as a home gym, so started to look into contemporary aluminum + glass panel doors. Seeing the list price of some of these online ended up taking me down a bit of a rabbit hole towards Alibaba-sourced doors, but I figure I ought to reach out to a pro before I commit to that direction. Zach was quick to respond and helped me understand why this was a terrible idea. I wasn't prepared to spend an arm and a leg, but he was able to hook me up with beautiful Clopay door installed at a really competitive price. There were some delays getting the door from the manufacturer but I appreciate Zach insulated me from all of that (apparently they delivered the wrong one at first haha). He showed up right on time on the day we agreed for the install and before I knew it the door was in. Super excited about it, and the curb appeal difference goes a long way too. Zach is a very personable guy and you can tell he genuinely cares about delivering for customers. Would happily work with him again but I suspect I won't have to - this door is built like a tank and the install appears to be high-quality all around.

I thought it was the opener and something getting out of sync but after some troubleshooting, it was something more serious. I had used Alliance Overhead Door in the past and they were the first call I made. The owner, Chris, took my call on a Sunday around 11am and asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue. It was likely an internal spring that had likely broken and needed replacement. I was afraid there would be an extra charge for a Sunday repair, but Chris so nope. So, I decided to move forward with getting the issue handled. Chris needed to address a current customer and then could be at my place around 1pm. As he was on his way, he texted me with an ETA, which was nice. Once at my place, he confirmed the issue and recommended at Torsion Spring Conversion. He confirmed the price, which was very reasonable, and he got right to work. Within an hour the old broken spring shaft was replaced with the new torsion spring rated for 25,000 cycles. Not only did he fix the issue, he also took the time to inspect the door and lubed the wheels and hinges before leaving. Now I am back in business with a working garage door. Whether you need a garage door repair or replacement, I would highly recommend Alliance Overhead Door. Chris Olari allianceoverheaddoor.com/ Call or Text : (512) 696-3891
