They would not acknowledge that the issues were their responsibility. I hired a private floor inspector to get a second opinion. TPF has tried to place all of the issues that I see with the floor under the HVAC not being on when the floor was installed last June. However, the inspector found that the subfloor preparation was at fault and NONE of the issues I'm experiencing are related to HVAC. I gave them a chance to collaborate a solution with me and their response was not to take responsibility in any way, they wouldn't even answer the email. The company will not honor their 1 year installation warranty on labor. The installer was Nelvke, which they told me was their best installer however the inspector found deviations all throughout the 2600 sqft of installed floor. I paid 17K for this floor. I paid for leveler and they did not make sure the sub floor was flat before installing. Beware and steer away from this company.

I was concerned because where they used the special materials to fill the cracks during the correction -it now ponds over when it rains. I wasn't sure that was supposed to happen. Rusty and Francisco took a look where the corrections were made in the lifting was done and assured me that everything was good. The reason the water ponds somewhat on the top is it is not going down into the crisis which causes the cement to sink. That may not be exactly correct, but that's it to the best of my understanding. Anyway, they were great and very reassuring. We recommend Baird!

I contacted Baird to raise my driveway and front porch steps. They offered a package that involved…read morefilling foam under the affected areas of my driveway and sealing the edges to prevent further erosion of support underneath. The foam only raised the driveway about 1inch. It needed to be raised about 2 1/2 inches to meet the entry to my garage. When I asked them to raise it further they said that they couldn't raise it anymore. They never mentioned when they were selling me the package that they would not be able to bring the driveway up level with the garage. Then a few months after the work was done I began noticing that new cracks were forming in my driveway. It turns out that they had only filled underneath one end of two large slabs in my driveway thereby creating a gaps underneath the center sections of the slabs where they were not supported. After driving over the slabs they inevitably cracked. This was easily predictable, so Baird would have known that this was going to happen. When I asked them to remedy the situation Rusty said that for another couple of thousand dollars they could inject more foam to support the rest of the affected slabs and prevent further cracking. I told him that they had created this problem and they needed to take responsibility. He/they refused. I gave them two stars instead of one because the front porch steps were better though not level with the entry.

It took the office 4 attempts before they got the quote completed. Final quote was still done…read morewrong, but it wasn't until the job was almost done that they brought it up. They did a great job with my sod installment but a terrible one with my irrigation repairs. Took them three weeks to finally come out and at least attempt the irrigation repairs, after failing to come out on previously scheduled time slots. Using said bad quote they wormed their way out of finishing the installation repairs. Upon inspecting their halfway completed work, it seems that while he was trying to repair the line, he damaged the main water line with one of his cutting tools. What was a fairly minor leak, now became a main line fix. This of course would require even more work and they wanted to quote me for more money. I fired them right away and decided to bring in one of their competitors. Buyer beware of this company if you plan to do any irrigation work with them. Only reason they get two stars is because the sod installation was well done. Update: See below owners response. This is what you will get if you deal with these guys.. gaslighting. They made all the mistakes, from the bad quotes to the accidental line cut. They damaged my line, not a root. Instead of fixing his mistake, they wanted to charge me. As you can see, roots are not as bad of a problem as they claimed. Like I said earlier, buyer beware. If the owner is doing this, best believe it's the culture at this company. Nik and his team went above and beyond and then more to help me out. He even planted my flower seeds for me in each bed and then watered. All passion vines cleared and he had them do additional weeding and cleaning up leaves. I would never trade the entire team for anything. They are the absolute best.
