The customer service at UB Kitchens started out well - very responsive, came out to measure, gave ideas without being overbearing, helped us get the handles we wanted, but in the end, I wouldn't recommend them. In terms of pricing, TreeHouse quoted a similar layout and cabinets for a little less (both $12K for a 100 sqft kitchen!). We went with UB Kitchens because they work around other contractors and seemed more customer-friendly. The Urban Effects line of cabinets are ok - the dark grey scratches easily. There is no way to change the levels of the shelves without chipping the laminate. Do not get a LeMans corner shelf!! We have a small kitchen and there is so much wasted space around the shelves and vertically (see photo). The wrong cabinet was sent and they couldn't remove the divider that would allow anything taller than 7 inches to be stored on the top shelf. If you're on a tight timeline, be aware that initial installation is at least 6-7 weeks out and after the installation, it took another six weeks to complete the punch list. The replacements/changes ended up more scratched/flawed than before so I wouldn't recommend making changes unless they're really bad and you have weeks to wait for a complete kitchen. We used a general contractor from their recommended list, a specific one named by our designer. The GC turned out to be a nightmare and quit partway through our project (PM if you'd like more details). When I contacted UB Kitchens to ask them to remove the contractor from their recommended list so that others wouldn't have to experience what I did, there was no response. That ending along with the mediocre cabinets left a bad taste in my mouth.

Pantry with roll out drawers is AMAZING

UB kitchens (Craig) did an excellent job designing our new kitchen & main bath in our home remodel. Craig planned every inch to maximum our space & storage. The installation crew was professional & also very sweet. We had a problem with the tile flooring in the main bath unrelated to UB Cabinets. UB cabinet crew was also on site. He noticed my distress & stepped in to help communicate with the flooring installation crew. How sweet!! He definitely made my day & help calm my nerves. The UB crew was so friendly & made me feel 100% safe & confident in their workmanship. Our salesperson Craig also made a trip to check the punch list to make sure everything was perfect. The installation crew also installed all our hardware & left our house spotless. In terms of our entire house remodel, the kitchen/main bath cabinetry by UB Cabinets was by far the easiest remodel process & exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend!!

I can not say enough great things about these guys! From start to finish, the attention to detail was so refreshing!

I can not say enough great things about these guys. This was our second purchase with UBK and from start to finish, the attention to detail was so refreshing. Even the delivery guys clearly cared about the quality of their work when they came out. We never felt rushed and our designer Craig, stayed involved in every aspect of the kitchen purchase - design, install, and finish out. For a kitchen as large as ours I expected a lot of challenges. We had very few hurdles and those we had, UBKitchens bent over backwards to make certain we were involved in the resolution and happy with our final product. Class act all the way around.

My wife and I went to UB Kitchens after reading the glowing yelp reviews. The name makes them sound kind of cheapy, so we were a little reluctant to follow up. Yes, we wanted to save money, but no we didn't want crappy cheap cabinets. Going to their showroom really eased our fears. The showroom is very well organized with extremely professional displays that give you a great idea of a some finished kitchens and there are multiple lines to choose from for different budget points. To me their show room is way more realistic than the stock stuff you see at the big box stores. Talking with Adam, I realized quickly that they build the displays themselves to what appeals to Austin style, unlike the stuff you usually see on display at the big stores. We worked with Anne, and she was a real pro, taking several hours with us on the design. She worked hard to get us to a price point we felt good about. The tear-out and install went very smoothly and they went the extra mile to install everything really well. They even did some work that was unforseen at no additional charge. After the install I had a small issue with the size of some appliance openings and they were on the spot the next morning to fix the issue. Good to know they will be there right away if a problem comes up. UB also hooked us up with some affiliates to install the counter tops and a backsplash, so you can do the whole package through them or just the parts you want. We did cabinets and counter tops through them, but bought our own backsplash tile that we had installed by one of their recommended tile installers. The result is fantastic, the kitchen looks amazing. We feel like we got a really good deal and the service was outstanding, Adam and Anne were very responsive during the entire process, always soliciting our feedback. You won't get that from Lowes or Home Depot, I can tell you this from experience. I think Adam has a very good sense of the importance of customer satisfaction for a small business. He is super friendly and made a real effort to create a personal connection with us in a genuine, "non-cheesy" way. He also offered up a lot of support and options to help us save some money in various areas of our project. The longer I'm around, the higher I value genuinely good service. I would recommend these guys to anybody whether your budget is large, small, or somewhere in between.

Extended the cabinets and created a extra large bar/entertaining area where there was once a breakfast nook.

Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

My experience with this company was disappointing. The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

We met over 3 weekends to come up with a design that worked for us, with some fantastic solutions that eliminated the issues with flow and storage in our kitchen & laundry room. From design to execution, the team at kitchen central worked well, delivering a functional kitchen to us in much less time that we had anticipated. They showed up early everyday and worked with us to ensure that we were getting our requirements met. When we wanted some enhancements they were quick to adjust. They have an exceptionally skilled team headed by Michael that handled everything from demolition, floor, tiling, plumbing, countertop & backsplash fabrication , drywall & painting to hanging sleek sliding doors to installing appliances and also worked on our lighting which made a huge difference. They delivered to us a breathtakingly beautiful & well functioning kitchen on time and with great quality of workmanship. Our laundry room is a lot more usable with the solutions they came up with. We highly recommend this team for any kitchen remodels. They aim to please with their design and meticulous project planning. This is the most hard working crew we've seen. It was a pleasure working with them, we're happy to give them this review. It's been a few months since the remodel was completed and we are grateful that we approached and trusted Kitchen Central for this project.

Rick wasn't afraid of special requests and worked creatively to accomodate all of my wants, needs, and wishes. Rick helped us to source ideal materials for our kitchen and made suggestions that helped enhance the functionality of the space. Additionally, we have a toddler and his team did an excellent job working to accomodate nap schedules, playgroups, and cleaning up diligently to ensure our little one's safety in our home during construction. Several months after the remodel, when I had one or two minor issues (so small that I can no longer even recall what it was), Rick came out personally to fix them and ensure that everything was still meeting his standard of excellence. One of my dogs recently chewed one of the cabinet facings that housed the built in trash can, and Rick- who paid careful attention to my love for my baking and cookbook collection- also helped me to come up with a cookbook cabinet solution that will be built to put in its place (and will be far less enticing to our hungry pups!). We plan to do a gut remodel of our master bathroom in the near future, and we will use Austin Kitchen and Bath for that as well without hesitation. Their quality control, personal service, and attention to detail are fabulous and I am beyond happy with the care they put into creating a communal space that has become to hub of our home.

I originally requested a quote via Yelp and someone from their California office called me very soon after to set up a time for their local Texas office project managers to check out my project. Nir and Joseph showed up to my house and were super cool, helpful and patient with my questions. They explained the process to me in great detail and handled everything well from start to finish. Nir is the absolute best! He has been so helpful every step of the way, gave me good design advice and suggestions, as well as showed me many options and possibilities. I really enjoyed working with him and if Nir is your project manager, you're in good hands. (: The workers doing the remodel were great too! They worked quickly and efficiently, everyone involved made it such an easy experience. I highly recommend Green Bay Remodeling and am glad I trusted them with my bathroom upgrades. We did not realize until speaking with several remodelers that the remodeler takes your vision to fruition. Selecting home materials is largely up to the customer, which was acceptable to us. Transparently, there are a numerous decision points from picking out the tile and backslash to knobs and grout color. Naftali was our project manager and provided recommended vendors like ProSource, Tri-Supply and Ferguson Home who had representatives with expertise that help narrow our decision on many items. Speaking with folks like Kathleen at ProSource was extremely helpful. The Tri-Supply representatives, Jonathan and Alissa, were extremely helpful also. To do a remodel is not inexpensive. You pay the remodeler for construction work. In addition, you pay for all materials...large and small. Throughout the process, Naftali was in constant contact with us via phone. We received texts from him virtually every day. When we raised concerns, he did his best to resolve them in a timely manner. If we were to give constructive critique, Naftali or an English-speaking project manager should have been on site more to supervise an all-Spanish-speaking crew. In addition, about 70% of the job was done with excellence. The other 30% took some rework and more preventative precautions would have enhanced the process. While we found some exceptions, Naftali ensured those exceptions were corrected. In fact, he sent out two experts for a couple of updates. Watching our ideas come to life was incredible. Walking into our newly remodeled bathroom feels like we are walking into a model home. Overall, we were pleased with the remodel and look forward to using our newly renovated bathroom for many years to come.
