We love our updated kitchen! New Creations transformed our cramped kitchen with limited countertop and cabinet space into a new gathering area that is now the focal point of or home. New Creations also transformed a small, dull library/bar space into something amazing. This is our second time working with New Creations. Roy Faust and his team are true professionals and committed to making everything right. We trust Roy and that was a primary consideration for us in choosing someone to remodel our kitchen. Erin Rooney presented us with 5 design/layout options to consider. This was all done on the computer so we could see the layout and elevation views of each option. I can't say enough about this company. But first of all, I already knew about the decency and work ethic of Roy Faust. I know because I know him personally...his Mom is a dear friend of mine, so I've been privy to watching his professional journey sort of through his Mom. I've watched him go above and beyond what most adult kids do for their parents, using his top notch crews to make improvements to his Mom's house. When I needed new flooring I asked Roy to PLEASE squeeze me in as I really trust him, his crews, and his company. And let me tell you. These guys are just as dedicated, hard working, and PICKY on my project as they are on Roy's Mom's projects. I grew up in this industry... my Dad was a custom home builder, so I know perfectionism when I see it. Today, they ripped out nasty old carpet, told me what needed leveled out and filled in EVERY tiny hole. Tomorrow new vinyl plank flooring goes in. Will post lots of pics tomorrow. New Creations worked with us through our entire kitchen/entryway remodel process, from design & choosing materials, to the demo/remodel/construction phase, cleanup, and follow-up. I would rate them overall 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Roy Faust was always very pleasant and down-to-earth when we spoke and always worked hard to treat us fairly and make us happy with the outcome. When a couple of NON-trivial things didn't turn out to our liking, he didn't hesitate to make it right. He also made a great suggestion toward the end of the project which added a little extra time & money but was well worth it! There are always hiccups in these projects, but Roy made good on getting things done to our satisfaction, even through the stress of some unexpected surprises. The design phase with Erin Rooney was great! She made it so much easier, coming up with several new kitchen cabinet/island layout ideas (we had our kitchen demo'ed to the studs) to choose from. Erin made picking out tile, paint, countertop, fixtures, lighting, .... stress-free, efficient, and even fun! She had a great feel for what we were trying to achieve and picked out wonderful samples to show us. She didn't stop there and continued to be involved throughout the build phase, as she was definitely needed for her opinions and advice. Apollo Serrato was also amazing in ALL the work he did regarding cabinetry, tiling, ...., etc. He is a great craftsman and so versatile and knowledgeable on the many aspects of remodeling! He also would go the extra mile to ensure things were done right. We could tell he genuinely cared about the quality of the work being done. Apollo was absolutely essential in making this project a success. Providing good lighting for the initially dark kitchen (as well as in the living room) was a challenge since we wanted can lights throughout in a home with no attic and not much workable space above the ceiling. However, New Creations made it happen! James Cox did a great job and would highly recommend him for any serious electrical work, and this house required quite a bit. Other work (i.e. A/C ductwork, paint) was also done to our satisfaction, although coordination, oversight, and quality control on the painting could have been better. Everyone we encountered was very polite and respectful! We did this remodel of our home shortly after purchasing it, and we were able to put off moving in until most of the work was done. Still, New Creations worked to keep the areas fairly clean and worked especially hard to get the whole house "move-in ready" clean! They also power washed the driveway and outside walkway. That was SO appreciated! Thanks especially to Apollo! After completion, Roy walked through again and noticed some things that had been missed (we had missed them, too!). He made sure those details were taken care of. Any other things we noticed, he was quick to remedy them. He also sent us a document containing ALL the information on our remodel, complete with product names, models, dimensions, paint, as well as maintenance & cleaning tips. One negative was that New Creations found itself in between project managers after our project had started. One reason we chose New Creations was because there was also a project manager (who we met and liked) to do continual & onsite job supervision, communication, and coordination, as well as quality control checks, one of the selling points we were given (and that we were paying for). We really had hoped and expected to have more eyes checking out the work being done so we wouldn't feel like that was solely our job at times. We had a fairly aggressive schedule, not including design time. The original goal (which was thought to be attainable) was for the work to take 6 weeks to complete. Of course, we understood New Creations couldn't promise to be done in exactly 6 weeks, as circumstances beyond anyone's control can arise, however, our home and kitchen wasn't mostly completed until after an additional 5 weeks went by, delaying our move-in date. Granted, a couple of permit delays/foul-ups also caused a couple of weeks' delay as well. And a couple of changes needed to happen before we moved in, delaying a few more days. Apart from the delays, the work was generally excellent. Communication between Roy and my husband tended to be problematic since Roy didn't feel he could engage in phone calls outside of business hours or on weekends, except for a couple of critical times (having a project manager might have been very helpful in this case). That was a real problem since my husband's workdays were almost always packed and he had practically zero time during regular office hours to discuss the project and ask questions. We waited ~ a year to provide feedback on the job to see how things held up - couple of small adjustments needed & quickly done by NC - still delighted with the outcome of our remodel by New Creations! read more

I highly recommend working with Roy and New Creations for a home remodel project. His services are pricey, but he has a strong commitment to quality and doing things right (including follow up on questions/issues after the project is complete). Erin was great to work with through the design phase, as well as material selection. She was very helpful in talking through space usage and coming up with ideas for how to use our space more effectively. Roy is very organized and a good communicator through the planning and construction phase. I feel like his project management skills set him apart from other contractors I have previously worked with. He dealt with all communication and scheduling with the subcontractors, permitting, etc which made the process hassle-free for us. He has a good set of subcontractors that he works with, and they would consistently leave our living and construction spaced clean during the project. I didn't give 5 stars because there were a couple concerns I recognized and escalated during construction that weren't investigated until they were trying to wrap up the project (4-6 weeks later). As I had anticipated, they required more complicated fixes to address that then pushed out the completion of the project by a month because his teams had already moved on to the next project, so it was delayed to get them scheduled back to make the corrections. Whereas, if they had investigated when the concern was raised, those corrections could have been done in parallel with the remaining tasks without incurring delay. This was just a frustration for us - the end result was a high-quality bathroom remodel that met our expectations. read more

We recently had New Creations remodel our kitchen and we could not be happier with the results! Roy, Jeremy, and Troy managed the project to perfection and the craftsmanship and attention to detail are perfect. New Creations has a beautiful design center that is functional and allows you to create a vision of your project by piecing together the different aspects of the remodel. We were able to match a countertop, backsplash, and cupboards to our liking and see them in person at their design center. This is very valuable in making such a big decision and it gives you peace of mind as you move into the project. The web based portal to track project milestones and progress was very helpful and it also allows the customer to input information or ask questions. We loved being able to check the site on a daily basis and track the project ourselves without always having to make a phone call to the New Creations Team. Troy could not have been more helpful and caring throughout the project and he stayed in touch with us on a daily basis. Jeremy and Roy both have a great ability to create a vision that is very helpful in the design phase of the project and they do a great job of making sure everyone is comfortable before taking action. They were more than willing to work around our dog and each of the sub contractors were very nice, clean, and meticulous. The project moved fast and they limited the time that we were without electricity and water - this was much appreciated :) We highly recommend New Creations for a lot of reasons but most importantly, they do exactly what they say they are going to do. They bring high quality work, a huge customer focus, and a level of integrity and caring that sets them apart from other contractors. These guys truly will make sure every last detail is to your liking and they won't stop until you are 100% satisfied. These characteristics are hard to find in contractors these days but New Creations is not the norm. They are simply the best in the business and the REAL DEAL when it comes to remodels. I had always wanted to convert a large island in my kitchen to make part of it into a bar while leaving the other half at counter height. After seeing the fantastic work that New Creations did on a friend's bathroom re-model, I contacted Roy for a bid and eventually decided to go with them for the project. Troy did a great job managing every detail of the project, and their carpenter did an absolutely fantastic job with the cabinet work. Troy ran all around town finding tile to match the slate that was already down in my kitchen, and they were also able to find a great match for my granite counter tops. After 19 years, it was definitely time to remodel our kitchen. We talked to mulitple remodeling companies and chose New Creations over the others because they provided the most help in turning our general ideas into the final design. They also brought their own ideas... some we used and some we did not, but we still appreciated the input from people who have gone through the process many times. We were somewhat surprised at the amount of time that Roy, his staff, and his contractors spent with us up-front in the design process before asking for any commitment. That speaks to their confidence that they will build their credibility during the design process and clients will select New Creations for the remodel. Since a kitchen remodel is fairly "intrusive" to your daily living, it was important to us to choose a company that would stay on schedule especially when unexpected snags occur (which happens in every project). Jeremy did a great job of managing the project and staying on schedule... the entire project was completed in about 5 weeks. We were impressed with the fact that our home was kept very clean during the project with very little dust outside of the work area and are very happy with the quality of the work. After 8 years in our home, we decided to update our kitchen. We researched and contacted several companies who did kitchen remodels. Look No Further. New Creations Delivers!. My husband and I want to express our sincere appreciation for all that Roy Faust and New Creations did to give us the kitchen we have longed for. Roy showed up for our first meeting with an enthusiastic knowledge of what could be, with a great design eye and a belief in his crew to do the job he promised us would be done. No need to look any further. We hired Roy and New Creations in September to remodel our kitchen and bath. They were efficient, responsible, and professional, but most importantly...they did what they said they would do. We were provided with a line item estimate and the final cost was not a penny more. Great attention was given to every detail while each and every one of our concerns were addressed along the way. They have a design center with hundreds of tiles, countertops, etc. to choose from with professional advice along the way. They will bring samples to your home so you can get an idea of what the finished product will look like. At one point, we had received some back splash tile for the kitchen from a supplier that didn't quite line up right. Roy immediately removed the tile, re-ordered from the supplier, and re-installed it. That is the type of support I can live with. Please know that if anything is not done to your satisfaction, New Creations will do it over until you are satisfied. Attention is given to every detail of the project. One other feature New Creations provides is a calendar of events for your project. You can log on to their website and see what work is scheduled for each day. We would certainly hire them again and probably will for some other remodeling projects we have planned. Bottom line here is New Creations will do it right. Experienced, professional and fun to work with! Remodeling a kitchen is such a huge deal that we put it off for quite some time. If only we had known about Roy Faust and New Creations we would have started much earlier! We love the final product and have to say that the experience was excellent. New Creations came in on budget and ahead of time!! These guys really know what they are doing! The planning was very thorough. We had a great exchange of ideas to finally come up with the design and materials we wanted and the end result proves it. We have a kitchen that is just right for our family and lifestyle. New Creations Kitchen Remodel. We recently embarked upon a project to give our kitchen a face-lift. After researching a full remodel and replacement of our perfectly good (but just ugly) kitchen cabinets, we stumbled across the New Creations website and found out about an alternative to replacement. Having been down the remodel road and found that complete replacement was not something that on which we wanted to spend too much money, we met with the New Creations crew to see what they had to offer. Their showroom featured many different styles of refaced cabinets complete with interchangeable counter top surfaces and back-splashes so we were able to get a very good sense of how our material selections would combine to create an overall look. This was extremely helpful to see and quite a contrast to having to guesstimate with tiny samples at many other providers. Once we understood the refacing process and the time line, we were certain that this was a better path for us. It was very important that we establish and stick to an aggressive time line which would ensure completion by the end of September. Roy and Troy were very helpful in scheduling our remodel project and ensuring that we had good transparency to the milestones and project tasks in the schedule along the way. Once we had our materials selected, the New Creations team sent us a detailed web-based project plan that outlined the entire schedule from start to finish. With both of us working and me traveling during that time, this was enormously helpful to us as we sought to plan our weeks. Once we got started with the project, we were very happy with the team's diligence in sticking to the schedule and ensuring that tasks were completed on-time. Additionally, as we ran into the inevitable hiccup's that come with home projects, we found that the New Creations team was extremely responsive and diligent in resolving things to our satisfaction. Everyone who was brought to the house to work was polite, honest and very good at their piece of the project. All in all, it took about 3 weeks to complete the project and we were able to access/use our kitchen for the majority of that timeframe. The results are great! The kitchen has a great new look that's far more up-to-date. We replaced the countertops with granite, the white backsplash with a cool glass tile mosaic and the lighting throughout the kitchen. It's like a brand new kitchen for a lot less than we were originally planning to spend. We're thoroughly enjoying the new look of the kitchen and would highly recommend this process and the New Creations team to anyone embarking on a kitchen remodel. read more

We hired Roy and his team to handle a remodel of a 30+ year old kitchen, living room , entry way,bath and dining room along with tiling from back to front. Our project was a big one, and comprehensive. We had his crew install multiple windows, electrical, countertop, custom cabinetry, and an original cabinet piece along with raising ceiling, moving ducts, and installing new lighting. They also tiled about 1000 square feet. From the onset, Roy and Troy and their staff were on a set schedule. We received weekly and at times daily progress updates which helped us know what to expect next. We are a big family with a dog and it was necessary for the timing to be right so that all parties knew what to expect. The company's strict adherence to their plans and informing us of any changes and modifying the schedule allowed us to all go along together. The subs that he used were appropriate, respectful, and consistent in keeping with Roy's overall plan, and you could tell that they had been both well informed of expectations, as well as trained on a consistent level of customer service that the company intended to provide. Any concerns that we had were addressed quickly. Any issues or conflicts that arose were dealt with directly, without excuses. The team's handling of the project top to bottom left little to be desired, and at the end of it all, even though we did this project during the hottest part of the summer, I would have done it again. At all times we felt that there was an available person to handle a concern or arrive at a resolution. They take their work very personally, and it showed in our satisfaction and in the end product. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel. Roy and the NC team took a 1967 L-shaped galley style kitchen (with original appliances!!) and turned it into an open, sophisticated space that we enjoy daily. From the outset, Roy,Troy, and the entire NC team were extremely organized. Every detail had a line item on the contract, so there was very little "nickel and diming." This was a big project which included demolition, window and door installation, wood floor installation, new AC ducts, custom cabinets, granite countertops, and a custom granite table top. They even helped to rework the support in the attic to accommodate the removal of one load bearing wall. The NC team was phenomenal. James, the electrician, took my call during the UT/OU game to help solve a electrical problem. Lisa, the floor and tile diva, was amazing and always accessible. Larry, the plumber, solved and issue for us in our attic that we were completely unaware of. Greg, the cabinet guru, stayed late into the night to help solve a framing issue. Jeremy, my project manager, was invaluable in his assistance. He was always available via email or text and always followed up with any issue we were managing. Troy, our scheduling superhero, always kept us up to date on the who, what, where, why and when. And then there's Roy...whose excitement and persistence about his work is uncontainable. Roy's patience and guidance through a sometimes difficult project put me at ease. And did I mention the cleanliness of ALL of the crews??? There was never a speck of dust or a piece of trash left behind by ANY of the subs that NC employs. No company or project is perfect, which is the only reason for my 4 stars, and we are still managing some small post-completion details. Yet even after the project is done and the bill has been paid, I am amazed at the response I get from the NC team in helping us resolve these issues. Roy (owner of New Creations) worked very patiently with us as we painfully crawled through the design and estimating/ bid evaluation process. He had a lot of great ideas we had not considered when we decided to remodel the kitchen. Once we finally accepted his offer, he very clearly lined out all the steps his team need to do and all the homework we needed to do in order to get all materials and resources in the right place at the right time. The first day of demo was Oct 19, 2011 and the last day of punch list tidy ups was Dec 23. The bulk of all the work and adjustments were completed by the end of November but Roy's commitment to 100% customer satisfaction kept his guys coming back until everything was right per his opinion which in a number of cases was far more detailed than ours. All of his team were very personable and we had no concerns allowing them to work in our home unattended. We got to meet all of them prior to us even signing the contract with New Creations which was just another example of how Roy took uncertainty out of the equation. Add on top this, their use of a web based project planning tool that we were given access to so we could always keep up with what was accomplished by who as well as what was coming and when. The team kept the house very neat considering the level of construction that was taking place and made sure to clean up at the end of everyday. We could not be happier with the final product New Creations delivered for us. The kitchen is far more functional than the original with lots more cabinet and drawer space without adding a single inch of sq footage. From beginning to end, Roy and his project manager, Troy were always responsive by e-mail and phone for any question that popped into our heads and the thoroughness of the upfront planning & design efforts they led resulted in no change orders or other financial surprises (except for items mandated by city code i.e. smoke detectors on every open surface in house it seems, overwhich they had no control). All of Roys' subcontractors took as much ownership of our satisfaction as Roy did for which we are very grateful. We began our search for a firm to remodel our kitchen/guest bathroom in December 2011. We first met with Roy Faust of New Creations in January 2012 and signed a contract with them in May 2012. Work started on May 13 and we did a final walk through with Roy on July 3. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend New Creations. Roy worked very closely with us to get the design right and invested a considerably amount of his time with us before we formally committed to the project. Once we got started Troy managed the project and hit virtually project milestone as scheduled. Troy was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we raised throughout the project. Roy and Troy make an excellent team. Trust and integrity were very important to us in selecting a firm to work with. New Creations exceeded our expectations and we genuinely liked working with them. We would also be remiss in not thanking Apollo for his attention to detail and the quality of his work. Also, James had many great ideas that we wouldn't have thought of as far as electrical and lighting. Manuel, head of the painting crew, was very quick and professional, even when we changed paint colors on him. Even after our final walk-through, Roy, Troy, Apollo and crew have been great. A few touch ups needed to be done after they finished, and they never hesitated in getting someone out here. We have been in our kitchen for a about 6 weeks now and love it. New creations is great at communicating with the client. I think 80% of issues are solved with communication. New Creations does that better than any other service company I have dealt with. They explain details, provide a compete estimate. and then communicate the schedule on line so you know who will be at the house and when they will install various items. Everyone we dealt with were complete professionals, listened to what we wanted and worked hard to provide us a beautiful custom kitchen and bath. Many thanks to the New Creations team for their patience, diligence, professionalism, and kindness they have shown myself and family in the renovation of our kitchen. My husband and I have been through the ringer over the years from sloppy contractors that don't show up when they say they would, did a shoddy job, and left a mess behind as they left. We found that Roy's crew were the exact opposite of this as they did an outstanding job of arriving on time, showing true quality craftsmanship on the task at hand, and each day would clean up before they left for the evening. Apollo was one of the main people that worked incredibly hard each day and made sure that the kitchen was perfect for me. He did a beautiful job of fine tuning at the end to make sure that every last detail was taken care of. He is such a talented craftsman and incredibly polite. This whole process has been such a positive experience and has changed our outlook on contractors. As for Roy, the owner of New Creations, my husband and I were impressed with his willingness to make sure that we were happy with every unique part of the design. Roy worked very closely with my husband and I to do so, often on his own time to accommodate us and our hectic schedules. This was incredibly generous given that my husband and I have been juggling a 3 year old and 1 year old (along with their weird schedules) during this entire remodel. We found the design incorporated all of our ideas but then it also took it to the next level that made our kitchen not just nice, but absolutely stunning and a lot more functional. Roy and Troy of New Creations provided a total demo and remodel of our kitchen, including exterior wall work. We changed a door/bay window into a sliding door, took down upper cabinets to open the kitchen to the family room, and widened doorways. We put in all new custom cherry cabinets and soapstone countertops. New electrical box in garage and outside, new lighting and electrical plugs/switches. New Creations was the general contractor and planned everything out and assisted with the general design and features. The entire remodel took 8 weeks. During that time the space was always kept clean and tidy. The space they used in our garage for various items was always clean and well organized. Every subcontractor they brought in was professional, polite, punctual, and answered all my questions with a good attitude. They had all done work for New Creations before and knew their expectations for a clean and professional job. Troy was always checking the work and making sure things were done as close to perfect as possible. If something was off, he would have the contractor come back in and change/fix it until it was what we wanted. Those were all very minor issues. Apollo, their tile guy, is amazing and really takes pride in his work. The online scheduling software they use, BaseCamp, really helps you understand what's scheduled for each day, who will be there, what outstanding questions there were or materials left to be chosen. Nothing was ever forgotten or accidentally left off the list. Roy and Troy always responded to emails and calls promptly and always had a positive attitude. They let me see 2 jobs they had completed (and speak to the homeowners) and one job that was nearing completion. It really helped me feel confident and trust that they would do a great job with our kitchen - and they did! We love our new kitchen! read more

I was just amazed at how smoothly my kitchen and bathroom renovation went, after so many nightmare stories from friends in the past. Not only were the projects completed on time and in budget, but the workmanship was excellent. The staff was all very professional and accommodating. Although I had a good idea of the designs I wanted, Roy and his designer had some great additional improvement ideas from their years of experience. As a single woman, it was also important to me that I felt very safe and comfortable with all the very trustworthy employees, from the painter to the tile person to the plumber. We purchased a house built in the mid 70s that hadn't been touched since the mid 70s. We've spent the last four years fixing up almost every room in the house, and the kitchen was the last room we had left. While we were happy with the other rooms, we weren't excited about the contractors we had used to complete the jobs. Going into the kitchen remodel we were half expecting another average experience, but the final product is exactly what we wanted. We are very pleased with how our kitchen turned out. I love everything about it. The job was completed within the timeframe quoted and on budget. There were a few hiccups here and there, but they were all addressed and resolved timely and efficiently.
