What made an already stressful situation even harder was having to part ways with our original contractor and start over midway through the process. By the time we found Matt and his team at Bailey & Bear, we were exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly a little wary. Hiring Bailey & Bear ended up being the BEST decision I have ever made as a homeowner. His team built back our entire home, so essentially my whole house was built by Bailey & Bear. I will ALWAYS work with Matt and his team for any future construction needs. From the very beginning, Matt earned our trust. He stepped into a complicated project, took the time to understand where things stood, and helped us create a path forward. Throughout the entire rebuild, he was patient, communicative, and incredibly responsive. I mean, responding within MINUTES. No question was too small, and no concern was brushed aside. In a process that can often leave homeowners feeling powerless, Matt consistently made us feel heard and supported. It was a NIGHT AND DAY difference from any previous experiences I've had with other contractors. What stands out most to me is that Matt genuinely cares. He helped us navigate the stressful decisions with a level head, and always approached challenges with a calm, solution-oriented attitude. He and his crew treat your house as a home (not just a construction zone) when they're on site. The high level of respect & integrity remained the same for the entire time we worked together, which was months. The quality of the work speaks for itself. Our home is GORGEOUS. We've had friends (who work in the industry) make several comments about how the attention to detail on the finish work is impressive. Every room reflects the care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that Bailey & Bear brought to the project. There were countless moving pieces, and somehow Matt kept everything progressing while maintaining a level of transparency and professionalism that is increasingly rare. After living through a major home loss, I can say with complete confidence that who you choose as your contractor matters as the single more important decision for a home remodel. I am so so so grateful that we found Bailey & Bear. Matt helped guide us through one of the most stressful experiences of our lives and delivered a home that we are genuinely proud of. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your home, you ABSOLUTELY MUST hire Matt and his team. I'd be happy to personally speak with anyone considering his bid!

Rick wasn't afraid of special requests and worked creatively to accomodate all of my wants, needs, and wishes. Rick helped us to source ideal materials for our kitchen and made suggestions that helped enhance the functionality of the space. Additionally, we have a toddler and his team did an excellent job working to accomodate nap schedules, playgroups, and cleaning up diligently to ensure our little one's safety in our home during construction. Several months after the remodel, when I had one or two minor issues (so small that I can no longer even recall what it was), Rick came out personally to fix them and ensure that everything was still meeting his standard of excellence. One of my dogs recently chewed one of the cabinet facings that housed the built in trash can, and Rick- who paid careful attention to my love for my baking and cookbook collection- also helped me to come up with a cookbook cabinet solution that will be built to put in its place (and will be far less enticing to our hungry pups!). We plan to do a gut remodel of our master bathroom in the near future, and we will use Austin Kitchen and Bath for that as well without hesitation. Their quality control, personal service, and attention to detail are fabulous and I am beyond happy with the care they put into creating a communal space that has become to hub of our home.

From design to execution, the team at kitchen central worked well, delivering a functional kitchen to us in much less time that we had anticipated. They showed up early everyday and worked with us to ensure that we were getting our requirements met. When we wanted some enhancements they were quick to adjust. They have an exceptionally skilled team headed by Michael that handled everything from demolition, floor, tiling, plumbing, countertop & backsplash fabrication , drywall & painting to hanging sleek sliding doors to installing appliances and also worked on our lighting which made a huge difference. We are in the process of completing a kitchen remodel using a design by Round Rock Cabinets Direct…read morewith cabinets manufactured by Waypoint. Our kitchen designer was helpful and courteous, and we ended up with a cool design with a good amount of high-end features (all plywood, 42 inch upper, two lazy susans, big base cabinet drawers, etc.) for our budget. The experience was much more pleasant than our quotes at Lowes/Home Depot, and we got a very reasonable quote. We ordered and paid on August 4th. Cabinets were actually delivered on September 12th. The 5+ week lead time was longer than we anticipated but workable and more of an issue with Waypoint. I was very concerned about potential quality issues based on reading online forums. There were some relatively minor paint problems that we can probably touch up (the promised touch up kit was not included in our sink base, unfortunately). We discovered two bigger problems: a cracked wall cabinet door and a missing gap in the design with no filler pieces to address. The 3.5 inch gap should have been addressed in the kitchen design and measuring process, but, alas, it was not. These two issues have delayed the completion of our project, inconveniencing my family and our install contractor. I reported the problem on 9/14, and we still have not received the corrected pieces as of 9/22. Tracking indicates possible delivery on 9/23. Waypoint claims to have "Rapid Resolution", but 9 days is far from rapid when you are in the middle of a renovation project. I was told the parts shipped on 9/16, but tracking indicates that shipment did not occur until 9/21. I hate to give a negative review, because the people I have worked with at Round Rock Cabinets have been friendly and helpful. That said, I don't feel very good about this situation. After a pretty good start to our project, the communication and resolution of our issues has not inspired much confidence.
