As a real estate agent in the area I struggle with recommending most contractors because a good one is so hard to find. That is not the case with Bailey and Bear. I will be sending Bailey and Bear every client who needs help. They are professional, responsive, and do great work. I used Matt's team for my guest bathroom renovation and adding two archways to my hallways. I will be using him for my primary bath soon and I really wish I would've met him before renovating the rest of my home because they're so great you just want to give them a big hug. I found Matt and Kasey who own Bailey & Bear Construction through a recommendation of a colleague and all I can say is WOW - completely blown away. Probably the best decision of my life going with this company to do a small kitchen remodel, painting some rooms and updating master closet (and I'll continue to go with them when I have other projects down the line). If you have any remodel/construction needs, no matter the size, these are the people you want to work with and they do it all! They do large projects like complete home remodels or small ones like I had. I even had to add in other side projects that unexpectedly popped up (like kitchen faucet deciding to break and bathroom toilet acting up) & Matt took care if it with his team right away - there's nothing they can't do! Matt always could make anything happen and happen quickly, which is what I really needed with three little kids. That's another thing, he saw we already had a lot on our plate, so he did whatever he could to finish our entire project in a week bc he knew how important that was to us. That's literally unheard of for a contractor! And he exceeded all of our expectations. One of the biggest things with contractors is that it's hard to find responsive, trustworthy ones, that finish the job completely & Matt and his team are just that. I was amazed at how responsive Matt was to my every little question / email / text. I mean he never responded more than 10 minutes later to any email and for text he responded within a minute, never any longer! That's really hard to find with contractors and it's not to say he wasnt busy. He has a lot going on, but that's the great thing about him and his team - no matter your project size, he treats you as if you're his only client and that's what's so amazing. To add to that, I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. Matt constantly keeps you up to date and let's you know when people will be at your place, who will be there doing what, and at the end of the day he'll update you on progress they made that day and also tell you the plan for the next day. I mean it's been a dream working with him and his team! Not only is he super responsive but he works fast as well! Matt's team (who is also so amazing, like every single person - his paint guy, his tile people, his plumber, his cleaner, just so nice and really good at what they do) had rooms painted and kitchen backsplash done in a matter of HOURS on the first day. Matt was very responsive by text. I felt bad texting him at night, but it was the only time that I was able to look at the work and ask questions or make requests. He typically answered by texts within 60 seconds. We have PTSD from a prior contractor who cost us $14k but Matt's crew came in and re-did all of that guys work and redid our master bath. It looks great. His bid was more competitive than others and it was to us much more quickly than the other bids. His work was done in a timely manner without big delays that you experience with most other contractors. Working with Matt and Bailey and Bear construction was an absolute joy! We bought a house in Austin and wanted paint, trim, and floors done prior to move in while we were still living in California. Matt's communication throughout the entire remodel process was excellent. He provided me updates, photos and videos each day in order to keep me in the loop on what was happening. He was highly responsive when I reached out with questions regarding the job. His team is professional and respectful and was also a pleasure to work with. I also really enjoyed working with his admin who was extremely helpful with the contract and providing statements and receipts. Upon move in there were a couple things that needed touch ups and he had a crew at the house on a day that worked for us to take care of everything.
